Very well done, thank you! I have a Camry as a rental car, and since there is no owners' manual in the glove box, this was extremely helpful. My everyday car is a 1999 with all nice old-style switches, so finding out how to use the features on this car was very helpful. You are a good teacher!

A few months in to a 2023 Camry XLE AWD and I live in the South. Love the car. Holds the road solid in heavy rain a few weeks ago and for me I might be living someplace else in the future so getting the AWD was a must. Not the greatest pick up entering the freeway but decent and if I wanted more I would have gotten the V6 which doesn't offer AWD. The AWD was the decision. Great video Brian.

Awesome Review. I have one thing to inject. When you have your Lights on Auto. If it starts to rain and you turn on your wipers, your Lights will come on Automatically. Your lights will stay on as long as you have your wipers on. After you turn off your wipers, your lights will stay on for a period of time then it will go back to your Day Time Running Lights.

@@wmmarquez No. You can turn them on and or off. To turn them off. It will say DRL Off. DRL means Daytime Running Lamps.

Yes go to menu>setup>display and you can adjust it there
Or menu>setup>nav>nav settings>style

Great video! I just swapped my Tacoma (traded in) for a 23 Camry. What I can’t find is how to turn on the rear stationary object alert. Example: while backing you come too close to a bush or post.
Thank you. If you have a Camry LE then you don’t have that feature. It called parking sonar or also park assist
If within 15 seconds after turning the car off you pull down on the wiper stalk, you can bring the wipers up to the windshield to prevent them from getting frozen down in the area below the hood if you are expecting freezing rain or snow.

Theme option is only
Ambient lighting on XSE or XLE

NHi Brian thanks so much for dash guide. Really great job.. Now the question. I am using a 8 GBU thumb drive that plays fine but, it’s having trouble with artist,albums etc. do u know of a size limit on a thumb drive? The drive is full. Thanks

Thanks for the reply, Brian. I found out they only allow 255 songs per folder I had over the limit. Knocked the numbers under 255 works fine.

Interesting park brake has pedal the Australian version has automatic park brake when the car is put in park .
Yeah I remember my 2013 Camry had one of them too. Shocked to find out certain regions still have it today because I hated it haha.

Great vid thank you. When I first got my 2023 Cammy SE I turned off the front end beeping that would occur when pulling in my garage and getting close to hitting the wall. I want to turn it back on and can't find the P))) looking button in the MID referenced in the manual. Any idea how I turn that front end sensor back on? Thank you.
Your feature is called “park assist” or “parking sonar”
Thank you, yes it's the Intuitive Parking Assist. I just cannot find the on/off button anywhere in the MID and don't remember how I turned it off.
Maybe it's just park assist. Does the dealer/service dept. have to turn it back on?
How do I turn on my parking sensors? My car is 2024 XLE Camry does not have a P (parked) icon. Please let me know. Did not see it in the brochure. Thank you!
If equipped, you would use the MID and arrows on the wheel to go to the settings menu>parking sonar>on

Glad to help! Do you leave your key in the car? Do you lock your car? Do you leave your window open?
No, I do not leave my keys in the car and the windows are all closed, lights are all turned off, and I lock the car with the FOB. It still talks to me (beeps 5x) randomly. I thought someone walking by or something similar might be setting it off but it happens every night in the middle of the night at least once.

I just got camry LE recently and im trying to use carplay for map , i tried downloading apps, i checked carplay on my phone setting but none of these work. How do i fix that?
Hmm not sure you may want to have your sales person take a look. Sometimes in search & Siri menu you have to activate CarPlay
So when I go to menu the usb media icon do not light up? I am not able to make my phone. Play?

Thanks, very informative. I just bought a 2024 Camry LE and trying to learn all this new stuff. It seems that I can't get Android Auto to show on the screen and use unless I have my phone actually plugged into the car with the USB. Is this true or am I doing something wrong?
Correct. This current Camry does not have wireless android auto.

Yes, i have it on my 2019 camry xse. The button is for a 360° view of the car. Using the the sensor cameras
If my car has the same button for defrosting the mirrors but i didnt get the cold weather package, is it still defrosting the side mirrors? Button picture looks identical to the one shown in this video.

So you do not have to step on the brake to engage or disengaged the parking brake.
If it’s electronic, no. If it’s a push pedal parking brake, then it is recommended.
I just got the 2024 Camry SE and on the M.I.D in info it showed the mpg. Then i was messing with the settings now nothing shows up in info. Im trying to get the digital speedometer to show up. Any help?
Try using the arrows to change the view screen
Does the MID allow you to see the tire pressure on each tire? I had a 2017 Camry and I could scroll up on the Info tab and see the tire pressure. I can't do this on the 2013 Camry?

My info screen is completely different on my 2023 Camry SE.......I want the info you are showing but it's not on mine.......also I have a LOT of options with the convenience package but mine didn't come with the wireless charger and I thought it would? Just got mine Saturday so I'm going to call them.....

Interesting. I checked the brochure because I don’t have an SE in stock right now to look at. I know the LE has the 4.2in MID. Perhaps the SE has an upgrade to that 4.2

Thank you. I meant buttons above your head on the ceiling. There’s either a door button on the front top light panel or the back one behind your head, a slide lever to the “door” position.
I only have 2 buttons on either side of the upper light panel to manual turn on each overhead light as pictured in your video at 16.17.

It should be behind your head, there’s a sliding lever. Slide it to “door”

@@brianruperti no apple car play doesn’t allow when u plugged usb wire. When i connect with Bluetooth then it works but when plugged with usb wire then navigation is so loud unable to reduce volume

Gosh -- an awful lot of digital controls, measures, adjustments etc. to think about: does anyone over say 60 have a grasp of all these items?! Oy. But -- given all the architecture of machines nowadays, it's a brisk, well-sequenced inservice video. However: I mostly just wanted to find out: how do I read my total miles driven, so that I can get a tune-up/oil change regularly! I've a Camry 2022 LE Hybrid which I really like....
