      Just purchased same vehicle as this person's reply, your video is Immensely helpful. it so terriffic to stop the video and replay to insure I can halfway remember your explanatiion and direction. As you age it is so true that it is more challenging to learn new information. I definitely want to tailor the vehicle to my preferences, I learned a great deal from your video despite initially pouring over the manuals this is 1000% better instruction.

    Brian, This is an amazing video. Thank you so much for the detail you included. I just purchased the 2025 Camry and have every intention of maximizing the features available. My last vehicle purchase was my 2014 Prius, which I still own and hubby drives. Needless to say, many of these options, features, and controls are alien to me. Reading the 3" thick manual just isn't happening either. So, thank you! Your work is appreciated!

    I just bought one of these, I was trying to learn more about the PDS asssit. the author describes it as slowing you down on curves and I don't think it does that at all. what it does does is work in conjunction with the adaptive cruise control in seeing vehicles you are approaching and applies the regen. braking even when you are not actively using cruise control. So, when driving in normal traffic when it visualizes a car ahead it starts apply brakes (assumed to be regen brakes) and slows you down. It will not bring you to a stop and it will warn you if you fail to apply the brakes when you get dangerously close to a stopped car.

    Really well done, great tutorial. Unfortunately here in Poland we still don't have this new version - it will be available from the end of the year.
    I am curious about one thing - the speed limit warning. You showed how to turn it on/off or change the threshold at which the warning is activated. If I want to have it off - do I have to turn it off before every ride (like it is in the new CHR) or the car remembers my previous choice?
    Greetings from Poland.

    • @brianruperti
      @brianruperti  2 месяца назад +1

      Hello thanks for watching! I’m honored to hear Poland is tuning in! You should be able to turn it off once. But I have yet to test it yet.

    • @jarkszon
      @jarkszon 2 месяца назад

      @brianruperti Thanks for a quick reply Brian. I would appreciate if you could check that for me. I watched a ton of reviews and I did not hear/see anybody talking about this speed warning. It can be annoying, very annoying. I am not a person who speeds a lot, but hearing a beep if you are 3mph above the limit can drive a person crazy. So it would be nice if this system could be turned off for good :)
      In Poland we have 1 (yes, one) Camry. I know how crazy this sounds. The EU version (so I heard at the dealership) has not been launched yet, they only produced a few pieces for promotion. There is a chance this one piece would come to my city sometime in September but only to have a look, no test drive possible.

    • @jarkszon
      @jarkszon 2 месяца назад

      @brianruperti The Polish specs of camry is a bit different, this car is recognised as a lower-premium segment. Even the lowest specs is already good equipped. Thus you do not have that many options/extras that you can add.
      I guess that if Poland would share the US specs camry would have already be launched here as well. Anyway, we must wait :)
      Cheers!
