- Today we begin the #30DayUkeCourse! In this course we will have one new video lesson every day for the month of September! The 30 Day Uke Course has been designed to help you become a well-rounded musician. Many of us have memorized chords and strumming patterns on our ukulele, but we have not made much progress beyond that. Through this course you will read music notation, become familiar with music theory, exercise new fingerpicking patterns, play new chord shapes (beyond the 4th fret), and develop good practice habits.

RECOMMENDED UKULELES
You will have a higher success rate if you have a ukulele that works well. Some ukuleles don't sound the best and others are very difficult and uncomfortable to play. Here are some of my recommendations. There are several price ranges.

I am sooooooooo excited!!! I finished the 30 day challenge in July and playing the uke has become a habit for me now! June ‘22: Found you on “My First Ukulele Lesson” and did that with my first Ukulele until I could play that 4 chord song. Now I’ve moved on to 30 day Uke Challenge. I just wanted to say thanks for your great teaching style and getting me going with my first instrument well into my 40’s. My daughter (9yo) plays piano and I would love to play along someday.

This is perfect timing! I recently found your channel, got inspired, picked up my uke again, and decided to get a blue Enya like yours but in tenor. Have been going through your 30 day challenge with my lil' ol' Lanikai soprano pineapple while waiting for the Enya. While I already know some chords, strums, and how to read tabs, the challenge is still great for both practicing good fundamentals and teaching me new things too. Looks like once I finish the first challenge, there's a great second course to launch into. XD Thank you so much for this!
P.S. Introduced a friend to your channel while announcing to friends and family that I'm doing the challenge, and she loves your teaching style. She's almost as excited about all this as I am! I sense there could be yet another ukulele student on the horizon. Lol

I'm so excited for this! I first started playing the uke one year ago and with the help of your channel I learned it! But I can't do anything extra with it, I can only play common chords (a few bar chords) and relatively easy strumming patterns, and after that I stopped learning new things and just practiced what I knew, so I can't wait to get back on my feet and learn new things. I've just finished the 30 day challenge and about to move on to the 30 day course, I recall you saying on another video that if you did the 30 day course again you would change the order based on the difficulty of some of the earlier days. If possible could you give us an idea of a preferred new running order or which ones you would skip till later in the month.
