Brilliant update thanks once again
I really enjoy your videos 👍
When I was young and trapped my finger in car door, doctors put a burning pin through my nail. Still remember it but what a relief of pressure and pain. Might be worth trying, just stop pushing when you see blood coming out.
Let us know what you do about it on your videos
Thankyou.
I remember my dad many many years ago securing a Black & Decker drill in the vice to allow him to push his thumb nail onto the drill bit after squashing his thumb in a valve. The relief was obvious when the pressure released. Suitably sterilized the drill bit by sharpening it on the bench grinder, "the heat will kill any bacteria boy". From Lincolnshire, he grew up at Reepham/ Fiskerton as a boy in the war years and told how he would watch and listen to the many Lancasters departing each night with less returning each morning. Count them out and count them in.
Brave men, your dad and the pilots
Another really enjoyable and varied video Andrew thanks ever so much I really enjoy your vlogs hopefully you get a lovely day on Saturday 🏴👍
Crops looking good just shows the power of Mother Nature
Excellent video Thank you for your time and effort in the making of it Who would know unless we was shown brilliant.
Love seeing the Memorial Flight. 617 Squadron recovered from the appalling losses on the 17th May to successfully participate in the sinking of The Tirpitz with 9 Squadron in November 1944. Using Tallboy bombs, designed by Barnes Wallace. It was very accurate bombing and this time the Squadron all returned home successfully missing German fighters by minutes. Approximately 1000 + German seamen lost their lives.
Very intresting vids, andrew, spend more then 20 years in holland working in the flowerbulbs, great days in the aggriculture, keep them coming
The elan valley dams are not far from us, barns wallis tested his theory on a small dam there that had been built to supply water for the for the workers village during constuction of the dams in the late 1800s, its amazing how much work was done during the war, theyd have had hs2 built in 6 months with a handfull of cat dozers
Can’t wait to be here with my yfc on sat
Thanks for another great waffle. Cornish nails are also hard. I remember my father getting a skewer red hot in the Rayburn and using it to drill a hole in his nail to release the pressure!
Ouch!!
Car doors, fingers and thumbs can have difficult relationships at times. I did a thumb many moons ago. A hot needle down the end of the nail did the trick but try playing cricket with your left hand when you're right handed. Lovely seeing the Lanc in the air. In a few years' time there should be another one. That's in East Kirkby, and you can book a taxi run in it.
Great video as always. We did a horse ride from Bardney community field a few weeks ago. Lovely part of the country.😊
Thanks for the update Andrew. Remember back in the day when I worked in the warehouse at Dickinsons one of the drivers gave it a footfull out of the entrance and over the bridge and lost about 15 tonnes of beet pulp shreds in 40kg bags over the right hand bank took some clearing up. Thanks again.
Thanks for the photo today. 👌😊
I remember the Beet Factory in full swing when the beet factory had it's rail connection. Feels like 100yrs ago!
😳🤣
Well said Mr. Ward about Olly and his helper's efforts to raise money for the mental charities, and your comments about the silly people who can see no further than the end of their noses.
Hi Andrew i would get rid of that loadall before it runs out of warranty although I feel sorry for the new buyer when he gets a massive repair bill the manufacturer should take it back and supply a new machine that has a transmission fit for purpose in my opinion
The manitou warranty ran out 3 years ago but I’m lucky to have them cover the gearbox
Thanks for video update, your farm looks well, better in the sunshine.
Bardney bridge is an elegant Victorian piece of engineering not a monstrosity.
I never knew that it's the wax on the plants leaf that give's it resistance to herbicides. Everyday is a learning day even at 60 !!!😄
Another interesting video, Another way to do a black nail is to heat a sowing needle up with a lighter till it is very hot and push that through your black nail, the relief will be instant,
I’ve heard that too, but not sure I could do it, as I’m really squeamish!
@@WardysWaffleAndrewWard i had it done to me but someone else done it for my while i wasn't looking at it, beleave me the instant relief is worth having it done,
I’m not much for pain!
Another great blog Andrew very interesting
Thanks for theupdate, Lanc looks great.
Great update.... Spring crops went in well... Maybe late, but far better than when soil conditions are not suitable.
🤞 for yield.
At my agric college the ever mentioned mantra was " keep OFF when wet"....
😊👍
It’s not when it goes in its how it goes in!
🤣👍
Very informative and interesting 🚜🚜
Cracking video again Andrew, looks like Narla wanted one off those fish for lunch 😂 and as Ronda said be quiet you two or I’ll stop filming it cut to an advert couldn’t have timed that better 😊 keep up the good work.
🤣🤣🤣
Careful the liquid fert doesn't burn the dogs feet
Great video Andrew, you’re spray bowser is an excellent bit of kit..
Tom reckons is the best piece on the farm and he drives the RX!!
Morning Andrew, another brill video, lots of differant content, shame they shut bardney very handy being local hopefully they may open it again in the future, early mornings best time of the day before the world wakes up,looking forward to sundays video👍👍
Morning Nigel, all these people who say there’s no birdlife need to get out of bed earlier!
The dawn chorus is the best sound.
The drill bit works better if you put it in a Dremel first, or failing that a red hot paper clip. Like you said the relief is instant. :-)
I know on this occasion you did not go in to your N2 tanks, however I guess you have a robust tank entry, & rescue plan in place should confined space entry be required on any areas of your farm. There are still too many fatalities in all industries due to failings in tank entry procedures
The paint work on the case is looking abit faded she's due for a polish 👍
It’s the TFR causing it.
👍👍👍👍
Interesting update as usual, busy times ahead, you'll have to put nala on heron duty. 👌
Where is that camera question mark! I was looking out the office window last night at 7:30 and saw a heron take one of the new red fish. He won’t be taking many more!
i should add also a farmer friend of mine released carp in his flight pond a few years ago from a another old customer and i didn't realise that they had got so big (15 to 30 inches) but last years low temperatures killed most of them after the pond froze over, and with not enough green life in the pond ,no oxygen which even, has not a fisherman is quite sad ,only consulation is the herons and the cormorants had a feast for several days
That’s sad.
Didn't see last video interesting watching
Watch it!
Try with a red hot needle to relieve the pressure under your nail
😖🤣
Will the sugar beet be meeting in the rows by the time of the Lincolnshire Show? That is what we used to aim for on the heath in the 1970's although maybe rows are narrower now ?
It won’t be this year!
Not very often we see you in working clothes Andrew .
I’m in them everyday but only wear overalls for mucky jobs!
I have just bought some oat fibre not bran it’s the outer husk it costs £20 plus a kilo twenty times more than porridge. I’ve been reading it’s used for mixing with other stuff as a bio fuel… why such a high price £20000 a tonne
Ridiculous, there’s no market for oats at the moment. I’m going to have to carry harvest 22 over into 2024. Another case of being ripped off
great video ive i got cruel sense of humor but ronda should have pushed you in pond
... especially for your mate's rather witty if not x rated quip
She wouldn’t of needed asking twice!
Tony is a real character!
is it still legal to release gold fish,i speak as a shooter not a fisherman
I didn’t realise you couldn’t.
