Literally days before Cindy and I needed to head out to SEMA 2018, we desperately scrambled to make a series of last minute upgrades to our JL Wrangler and specifically, because we were planning to attend the 1st Annual JLX, immediately after the show. Of course, based on past experience, we knew that we'd be needing a bit more lift if only to improve our break over angles and we decided to make that possible with a set of Rancho 3.5" coils and all new RS9000XL long travel shocks. In this episode of the JL JOURNAL, you'll get to see what it took for us to install everything but without going too much into detail as we have in the past. As a reference, I have included a host of links that highlight our previous installations and if needed, they should be able to help you along. We hope you enjoy the video and find the information in it to be useful.

I swear, your videos just keep on getting better. And what a lift!
Thank you, we really do appreciate it :)
I was whispering (he's going to need a spring compressor) each time you tried to fit the springs, then you pulled one out of the back of Jane. Great video!
LOL!! I could have gotten around the need for them had I unbolted the control arms. The jam nuts on the lower arms were binding on the mounts. But, the compressors made things go a lot faster.
When the wifey says “time for some 40’s you know you’ve done something right”
LOL!! She's also the one who insisted we do an LS swap in Moby.
You married well my friend
I think so. It's been a hell of a fun 25 years :)
Next video? 🤔
One of the best channels on RUclips for Jeeps. Loved watching Jane to the new JL.
Love the shop, I had wanted to stop by with my CJ5. If you haven't subscribed make sure you sign up on the app as well.
Jeep looks really good with that lift, thanks for another great video. Now it's time to go out and really have some fun.
Well, truth be told, we've been running this lift since just before the JLX. We just now got around to making this video :)
I can't wait to get a hold of the new Gladiator, throw on a 3.5" Lift, 40" tires, and go on a wheeling trip with you guys.
Side thought, you're the only Jeeper I've ever seen who doesn't rip out the plastic inner fenders while installing a lift.
LOL - perhaps I missed the memo but I fail to see why it'd be necessary.
This is definitely helpful if I ever want to lift a Jeep. Thanks very much!!! I always enjoy your videos.
Glad to hear it :)
Eddie you have to be the best Jeep blogger in the world! And your skills are so Pro. I’ve been thinking of going up to 3.5” but I think I’ll wait to gather more mechanic experience. Freaking awesome job brother!
LOL - I'm truly flattered but I can assure you, this is something you can do as well. In fact, our videos should help to make that possible :)
As always top notch filming and editing! Great job. 100k subs coming really soon. Congrats in advance!
Thank you. We really do appreciate it and thank you for your support :)
Dibs on the old lift, lol!! Great video, look forward to the updates, curious if you'll need to adjust the control arms a bit. You always make this stuff looks so easy!!!
Awesome job brother!
My new JL just came in today!
White Rubicon Unlimited with the sky roof ! CHEERS !
Congrats to you :)
Sweet i ordered mine JLUR a couple weeks ago I can’t wait
Thank you guys for another great video👍👍👍. Jet is growing up fast, only a year old and I’m sure is experiencing growing pains😂
LOL!! Glad you enjoyed the video :)
i dont own a Jeep yet..waiting for mine..but i love your videos. A lot of good information on your chanel. U seem like a legit guy also. :)
Ahhh.....Jeep porn. You are quite the mechanic!! Very nice job and a super clean install. Boy, I’m always leery whenever I need to use a spring compressor and you handled it like a champ. Your Jeep looks outstanding. Thanks for sharing this upgrade.
LOL!! Truth be told, this was the first time I've had to use a set of spring compressors in over 20 years. The last time I used them, I was installing a lift on an Isuzu Rodeo. I could have gotten around using them but they sure made quick work of things :)
For some reason I felt relaxed after the video
That was so awesome to watch! I think i drooled haha! Man I love your videos!
LOL! Thank you, we're so glad you enjoyed it and our videos :)
I love how the upper bolts on the jl shocks are more user friendly . especially the fronts. be careful with spring compressors. a guy in one of my fca courses got a spring in the face when one of the clamps slide. 100 stiches inside and out side of his mouth.
Oh yeah, I'm not too fond of spring compressors and really, prefer not to use them. In fact, this is the first time I've used a set in over 20 years. It was just faster and easier than pulling the control arms which were binding at the jam nuts.
It will be interesting to see how it looks once the springs have settled
Actually, what you see in the title screen and at the end of the video is what it looks like now that the springs have settled. It is less that before but still more than 4".
Great video, awesome work space, very organized and well explained.
Thank you. We hope that our video is able to help you out :)
Looks amazing. I have a Rubi same color combo as yours. Love it. Great videos, bud.
So.. can I please, please have that fox suspension setup?? I’m so stock it hurts 😂
Could never do that rock climbing to my new Jeep, I would cry. Vinny 🇺🇸
LOL - you might like it :)
Another outstanding video. Jeep looks great.
Thank you :)
The JL is looking better every day!
If the springs eventually settle down a bit, maybe you won't need 40's! lol
LOL! They've settled a bit but still sit at over 4" of lift. I think we could still run 40's with them but that might be a while.
Impressive how well you working. Nice Rancho's.
Thank you :)
Impressive work, Eddie!
Thank you :)
I'm very satisfied with my 2" Rancho lift, but damn now I want the taller one ha!
Their 2" kit is spot on nice. I would only go taller if you're ready to address things like your drive shafts and have adjustable control arms.
Busted knuckle garage... I never notice I’m cut up till my wife says hey your bleeding... lol 😂 great video man...
LOL!! Glad to hear I'm not the only one :)
Awesome outstanding job performance nice have a great time 👍👍👍
Thank you :)
I LOVE YOUR GARAGE AND YOUR JEEP, CIAO FROM ITALY
grazie! We're so glad to have people from around the world watch and enjoy our videos :)
Those wheels look fabulous.
Thanks! We're real happy with them :)
Your garage is GOALS.
LOL!! Took more than 20 years to finally have.
Great! Looking forward for my 40’s and 50’s then 😂
would I be correct if I said that a suspension lift creates more ground clearance between the bottom of the ladder frame chassis of an SUV & the ground surface??? In turn aiding in increased break over angle!!! Meaning a suspension lift also raises the chassis frame as well since the suspension (hangs below the chassis frame) is attached at or marginally below the chassis level!!!
Calamity Jane looks awesome parked next to the JL.
LOL! She's a good Jeep :)
WOW Eddie that’s a beast also love the poster below the American flag in you shop I just ordered from factory my 2019 white JLUR with body colored fenders, love your videos and passion for Jeeping can’t wait to do some mods like your rig !!!
Heck yeah!! I'm watching right now! As soon as I saw the poster, I SCREAMED! I JUST SUBSCRIBED. #LoveEddiesChannel 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
LOL - thank you. I hope our videos will be helpful to you in the future :)

@@wayalife They will and have. No joke, my husband and I have watched ALL of your videos. He has learned so much, and so have I, even while I am crocheting. LOL P.S. Cindy, great videos, editing, and so entertaining!
Looks great buddy i’m running the rancho too and i really like it
Awesome, glad to hear you like it too :)
How has it held up? Still happy?
Awesome set up I hope it works better for your needs. Let’s know how it compares to the previous lift.
While we're typically not into tall lifts, the JL has a 2" longer wheel base and I swear, we could feel it on the rocks. What the extra lift does is help to restore our break over angles and while there is a center of gravity penalty, I think it was worth it. Ride quality is surprisingly nice too especially being that this is more of a budget lift than anything.
Love the video editing!
Thank you, we really do appreciate you saying as much :)
What’s up Wayalife 🍺🍺 now I’m gonna watch the video lol
A set of half doors would look crazy good on that rig. Such a nice stance too.
I wish! We would have ordered our JL with half doors if they were available.
@@wayalife JCR offroad has a set that looks good if you color match. You can add a arm rest and such but it's still just a flat metal door with linkages. It just isn't the same as a good old factory half door. Keep up the good work
Yeah, I saw them at SEMA and they looked nice but I'm not really a fan of JCR. Having dealt with them in the past, they seemed to be totally full of themselves. I'd rather take my business elsewhere.
@@wayalife I kind of know what you mean. I have an 18 JLU Rubicon and I've built all my previous jeeps. I live in Illinois and contacted them to see if they'd install my lift and I'd travel to them to do so. And they said No! I was taken off guard. So...I get it
That lift looks great. I'm doing the 3.5 as well, but using MetalCloak. Nice job. Keep the content coming. You looked a bit perplexed on this video. What's up brother?
LOL - perplexed?
Keep it up bro. Looks really good.
Thank you :)
Another great video 👍learning from the best
LOL!! I'm flattered.

Been watching your videos for awhile now and I’m curious what cordless ratchet you’re using and what you have thought of it over the time you have been using it?
Otherwise another great video! Felt bad when you had to find out the front spring was to big. And the 40’s comment lol.
The springs settled out. This is the ratchet I use. amzn.to/2TzLlMz and I have other tools listed in the description. Works great for my needs.
Looks awesome!!
Thank you :)
Again. Wait this has been your setup for awhile. Now I have to go back and see if I missed something.🤪
I don’t change my shorts this often !
That’s pretty tall LOL. I’d need a ladder to climb into that rig LOL. Great job!!
It's definitely on the tall side and really, not necessary for most people. Their 2" sport lift is more than adequate to clear 37's.
Looks very solid! I think 3.5” is almost perfect for the JLU with 37” tires
It's a good lift height for sure for 37's if only because you gain more break over angles. There is a center of gravity penalty though.
Wayalife agreed, and I’ll take it. I don’t get too crazy. We’ll see how EJS works out. Will you be there?
@@AmericanJeeper Oh yeah, we'll be there.
Wayalife nice!
I was going to say try spring compressors next time. Then you did. Lol.
Looks amazing
Thank you :)
Hey Eddy, what is the complete height of your JL after this install? My garage header max out is 78". Thank you.
Really looking nice guys I love the white JL, your other rigs, shop and your videos. All top notch. Quick question; So with the 37's and maybe 40's in the future are the axles going to get worked over any time soon?
Well, we've already installed a Dynatrac ProRock 44 and you'll see a videos highlighting it as soon as tomorrow. 40's may have to wait a bit but only because we'll be getting a Gladiator :)
@@wayalife Oh ok did not notice that. Wow a Gladiator great for you guys, I can't wait to see what you have planned for that bad boy.
I think she looks perfect 🤩
Thank you :)
So nice! I’ll take that old lift kit off your hands hahaha I’m sure couple hundred people will ask the same. That looks
Sweet but I’m thinking a bit too big for me when I get mine that dynatrac lift is the sweet spot for me!
Truth be told, we send back products that we test so that the manufacturers can do more R&D. The Dynatrac lift is really nice.
Please turn your shock bolts the other way or trim them on the rear ......Great video as always
Not sure why. Doing so would leave the threads exposed to the rocks and once they're beat up, they're hard to remove the nuts. I've not had a problem doing it this way but clearly, you should install your bolts on your Jeep however you see fit :)
Man I love that garage
LOL! Thank you - it's taken a long time to get :)
Wayalife all those fun toys. I don’t know if you have done a walk-around of your other jeeps, but I’d love to see that video!
@@jonerikgreene1175 We've had a few requests for a garage tour and we hope to do one as soon as it warms up a bit.
Making it harder and harder to wait for next spring to get a JL! After running the JLX and the NY19 run how are you guys liking the shocks?
LOL!! I've always liked RS9000's being that they're adjustable and that you can set them to where you want. If there is a downside, it's that what's nice for off road isn't always stellar for pavement and having to adjust them all the time can be a pain. This is why I choose a setting somewhere in between so that I can leave it as is.
What do y’all do with the lifts that you take off?
Very cool. Do you know just put in the lift without directions? Did I see a old Jeep Cherokee in you video? I really liked the look of them back in the day.
To be fair, I've been doing this for well over 20 years. Needless to say, all lifts are pretty much the same and yes, I can do it without looking at any directions.
Eddie I must say you're awesome man. I wish I had your knowledge. I do work on my jeep, but never chanced it on my suspension. I have a question, I have a 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited sahara with a 6 1/2" BDS long arm with Tom woods front & rear shafts,. Is it possible I can drop it to 3 1/2" long arm no more than 4 1/2". Having many problems with my lower back I guess comes with age lol, it's making it a little uncomfortable getting in & out sometimes. Thank you sir for this awesome video as well.
Holy cow, 6-1/2"?? That's way more lift than I would ever hope to run on any of my Jeeps. Hell, even my JK running 40's is doing it with our coil overs set to about 3-1/2". Needless to say, yeah, depending on what size tires you have, I would install shorter coils but you will most likely need shorter shocks and depending on how much slip you have in your drive shafts, you may need to have them lengthened.
@@wayalife Thank you so much. Well in 2009 I wanted a lift & bigger tires cause I wanted to experience of a new offroading adventure, it was my first jeep, took it to a shop where they convinced me that this will be it, but as years went by I learned more & more about the jeep & the game, watching videos, & then came to conclusion that I do not need this so high to have fun, invested needless of thousands throwing work at it & here I am now hoping to get something like your set up. I ran 40's on 20 wheels with 513 gears & e-locker with stronger axle sleeves, blew my rear 2 times, now I'm running 37s on 17 which turned out better but now hoping on lowering this big boy to a 3 1/2". Only if I knew then what I know now. I can't get rid of my jeep, it's my 2nd wife lol. Thank you so much for your advice & always love your videos man.
The install videos on the 2" lifts are all great - but I don't see any driving feedback. Can you do a compare / contrast / recommend video - or do they all test out about the same?
We have installed and tested multiple 2"-2.5" lifts and made videos of them. In fact, I have links for a few in the description. This one is on the taller side of things.
Great video thank you!
You bet! Glad you found the video to be useful :)
Awesome video and yes wholly 🐄 it seats higher 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
LOL! Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Great video Eddie and Cindy as usual. If you need someone to donate that Dynatrac endurosport lift to, i might just know someone =P
LOL! As is the case with a lot of the products we test, we send back what we got so that more R&D can be done.
@@wayalife Gotcha! well it was worth a shot! Love the content guys as always. You helped me decide to get my JLUR, and your videos help me constantly want to upgrade it. =P
Hi, just wondering if the lift kits are the same for LEFT HAND DRIVE car and RIGHT HAND DRIVE car. ? I know in USA is LEFT HAND DRIVE car.
It is "possible" that they're different. At least, I'm pretty sure that the OE coils are.
When did you change out the Rancho shocks for FOX shocks and why. There is no video of that. Which Fox did you buy?
The Fox shocks came with the Dynatrac lift we were testing out before. They were specifically made for the coils in that kit. This lift is significantly taller - more than twice as tall and the shocks we're now running were made for them. Hence, why they're called long travel shocks.
editing is second to none !!!!!....
Thank you, we're flattered you would say as much :)
Hi, Eddie. In a previous comment, I recall you saying that you didn’t need to change gears on the new JLs. Is that correct still? It’s just I recently put a 2.5” lift on my JL and added 35s as well. I really don’t mind the gas mileage, I mean it’s a wrangler. I still love it. However I saw in other video posts with the exact same mods and they’re getting 19 mpg at best. Mine is 13 at best. I believe it’s something I may have to reprogram with the Jeep’s system but you’re my go to guru. Hopefully you can help! Great video btw.
Safe to say you never recalibrated your speedometer after getting your new tires installed? That is required if you want it to read correctly.
Wayalife this is why I’m subscribed to you. Thank you!
Very Nice! Do you still work on/upgrade your JK? You make videos anymore?
Oh yeah, we work on our JK all the time but more for maintenance than anything. Not sure what more we would upgrade.
Awesome Job 👌
Thank you :)
OK another question. What front bumper do you have i like it also. Thank You for your time.
In this video, an LoD Destroyer Shorty
OOT, it's always an awesome video making.. I'm wondering, what kind of camera and does Cindy use a stabilizer?
Honestly, she just uses an old Sony Handycam that we bought at Costco years ago.
@@wayalife Thanks for the info ☺
@@wayalife I like your videos' content and just subs.. 👍
I know these shocks were tuned for those springs, but if one wanted to get away from the old school hydro style shock, and get into a monotube, do you have any recs of one that would match well with these Rancho progressive springs?
Well, you could always order up a set of Kings and have them custom valved to how you'd like. Otherwise, you're kind of stuck with getting whatever it available off the shelf.
What video did you install the rear shock skids and do i really need them?
They're not really needed.
No drilling or trimming or cut for this rancho 3.5 lift kit and don't need anything right?
No drilling or cutting is needed to clear 37" tires.
When should you use Loctite? I would have figured you'd be using it for all those bolts that you'd expect to stay tightened? I guess not necessary?
You should use it on bolts and nuts that require it. Typically, manufacturers will tell you what needs it and what type to use.
Why is there a left/right difference? I've never heard of this before. I wonder if the same thing is done to Jeep TJ lift kits.
I was not done on the TJ nor on the JK. It's new to the JL and that's how they come from the factory and to help compensate for the weight of the gas tank being on the passenger side. It's actually kind of annoying being that you end up with a driver side lean instead.
Very informative video man! I’m a fan! I just bought this lift. I’m running 35 inch nitto trail grapplers. Is there anything else I’ll have to have in order for it to work? Or is it pretty much bolt on? I heard you mention drive shaft replacement 😳 lol
The lift will give you big flex and your rear drive shaft will make contact with the gas tank skid. You can set your rear track bar to have your axle pushed out further to the driver side but an aftermarket shaft will be a bigger help. Up front, the amount of droop you have will cause the front drive shaft to make contact with the exhaust cross over and skid bar. This video will help explain things ruclips.net/video/IzIaxvDLIiU/видео.html
Thanks man. You’ve been a big help! I’m really looking forward to this build project. You’re videos are great man. She’ll be ready for rubicon in hot springs this summer!!
And for anyone who is curious I have 2.0 turbo and she’s lost no power with 35s. And I’m averaging around 17mpg. Will get better after I taze it and recalibrate speedometer
Another great video.
Thank you :)
Waiting for when you have subscribers on your channel and doing tutorials with you on their builds. Gives us all a bigger scope of different products and builds. Not just the expensive mods people push on the streams.
LOL - Rancho is about as affordable as they get.
Great video. Are the Rancho shocks better than the Fox shocks you took off, I thought Fox was top of the line & the way to go? I'm new to the lifting jeep scene so my question is for my knowledge & for future reference when I'm looking for lift kits. Thanks
Fox are great shocks that look good and have brand that's been promoted well. In terms of design, they are a modern monotube shock and perform well. If that's all that matters to you, yeah, they're better. Now, if you're asking in terms of flex, well, these new RS9000XL shocks provide more travel and so in that way, they're better. In terms of ride quality, well, these RS9000XL are adjustable and can be set to however soft or firm as you want. The Fox are gas charged and offer only one setting and depending on what coils you have them paired up with, that can give you a nice or harsh ride. In terms of price, the RS9000XL are way more affordable. For daily driving, I would argue that the RS9000XL will give most people what they want except for a sexy name and look. Even on the rocks, they'll do well if not better due to their long travel. Where Fox will out shine them is if they're paired with a good set of coils as there will be no need for adjustments. Also, driving over long stretches of rough terrain, they won't experience shock fade the way old school hydro shocks (RS9000XL) will and this is because they are monotubes that dissipate heat better and have a separate chamber filled with gas to help prevent cavitation. So, it's all relative.
@@wayalife Thanks for the quick reply
Curious Why do you use extension brackets for the brake lines rather then getting longer brake lines? Steve
Ummm, they're a fraction of the cost and something I already had and worked just as well for this application? Nothing wrong with installing longer brake lines and I have on all my other JK's but only when needed. Also, to properly bleed the lines on a JL, you need to have a scan tool use the ABS system to do it. That's typically something only your dealership can do and that makes it even more expensive to do. Sure, you can get by without it but your brakes will never be quite the same.
Saw you were using the LOD sliders at the end of the video. How are they holding up?
Holding up great :)
Now that you've had the Rancho for 4 years, would you buy it again? Is it maintenance free? Do you recommend any maintenance free kits? Does Clayton or MetalCloak make one?
So, in this video, all you're not seeing the complete kit getting installed being that I already had EVO arms and components. This is the video you should be looking at ruclips.net/video/7EzDf1K_yOk/видео.html
And, it is maintenance free. Very happy with it.
How many times have you swapped out his suspension. Didn’t you install EVO Coil overs a few months ago.
LOL - quite a few times but this is an older video. The coilovers you are referring to were just installed a couple of weeks ago.
Sooner or later i will see king shocks on the jl
Also note to self get shock compressors
LOL!! This is very likely :)
Does anyone have the part numbers for the Rancho 9000 shocks in the video?
For what you see in this video amzn.to/2VR26Um and amzn.to/2CbxDc8
@wayalife what do you do with the lifts you remove? Have some for sale by any chance? 🤔
Sorry, we send back the parts we test to the manufacturer so that they can do more R&D.
Love the wheels. Anyone know what they are called? I have a white jl Jeep Wrangler Sahara
You're looking at KMC XD231 beadlock wheels. Not exactly the kind of wheel you want unless you know what you're getting yourself into. Most shops won't touch them.
Hi Eddie, this video of the suspension upgrade was made in preparation for the 2018 SEMA show and JLX experience right?
This is correct. We've been meaning to finish up this video for a while now. We apologize for just getting it up now.
Wayalife Thank you for the reply. I hope there will be another JLX this year!!!
There will be a JLX but I'm not sure we'll be attending it. The cost for us to participate is literally a small fortune and depending on where it will take place, it'll cost us even more.
What size tire are you running on those stock rubicon wheels?
What you see in this video is not stock Rubicon wheels.
I have to ask how do the Rancho Shocks Compare to the Fox that you took off? I know its going to be a difference because of the springs as well so might be hard to answer I guess. Great job on the Videos definitely can tell that they have come a long way since even just a year ago.
What I can tell you is that Rancho RS9000XL are essentially old school hydro shocks that are adjustable and you can set them to be as soft and firm as you want them to be. A good set of Fox shocks are monotube shocks and what you get with them is what you get in terms of ride quality - a bit on the firm side. Depending on what coils you're running, this could make your ride feel quite harsh. With that said, an old school hydro shock will eventually experience shock fade when driving very long stretches of rough terrain. Basically, the oil inside will begin to cavitate and the valve inside will no longer be able to provide the same amount of resistance. A monotube shock has a separate chamber filled with nitrogen that helps prevent this from occurring. Needless to say, if you spend most of your time on pavement and maybe just do rock crawling, something like the Rancho shocks may be all you need. If you spend a lot of time bombing across the desert, a set of Fox would be the better way to go.
Wayalife thank you for the answer and explanation
My pleasure. I hope I was able to help.
Would you say upgrade the front driveshaft AND rear? Or unnecessary? I have the 2018 JLU sport
On this particular lift giving you as much lift as it does, I would say that it's necessary to install front and rear shafts. The front being that the CV boot on the factory shaft will be in a constant state of bind and will fail sooner than later and on the rear, an aftermarket shaft will be narrower in diameter and will help prevent rubbing on the gas tank skid at a full flex.
Nice jeep
Thanks 👍
How tall is jeep now? My friend has same jeep and just ordered that same lift, tires and rims you guys have. Worried about parking garage for work.
Well, we can still park in our garage which has a standard 7 foot header.
Any reason you went with rancho shocks over the fox shocks? or was it just a length thing?
The Rancho RS9000XL shocks are new and were made specifically for the coils we installed. I should note that they are longer as well.
I know ride is subjective but how would you compare all the different systems you have ran so far?
So, what I can tell you is that the coils Rancho uses are progressive and so the ride they provide for daily driving is quite nice or at least, for our taste. Of course, most of ride quality will come from your coils. The Rancho RS9000XL are adjustable and so you can set them to whatever it is you like. With that said, both this and their Sport lift are probably one of the best riding kits we've tested for daily driving. Off road, they both do great as well but a progressive rate coil will resist stuff at full articulation in a way a linear coil will not. Also, a monotube shock will not experience shock fade the way a hydo shock will. For the cost, I find both of these kits to be a good value.
wow you're right that is almost too tall but i love it!
It's definitely on the tall side but with the JL having a 2" longer wheel base, it's kind of nice to have if only to regain lost break over angles. There is a penalty in center of gravity with it though.
That kit is missing many vital components.. Its more of a set of replacement shocks and coils for an already lifted Jeep. That may confuse some people who are new to this stuff. A 3.5" lift would need at least upper adjustable controll arms as well wouldent it? On top of the extra parts you pulled out. Also drive shafts?
When we filmed this, I never say that this was a "kit", just that we were installing taller coils and longer shocks. However, as we clearly state in the video through the use of text here: ruclips.net/video/yBCvuLGSHR4/видео.html it is now available as a complete kit. Drive shafts are not required but I would highly recommend them. Thus, why we also note with text that we have replaced ours here. ruclips.net/video/yBCvuLGSHR4/видео.html
What's the tallest point of the jeep now and is it still able to fit in a standard hight garage.
With the hard top on, I think we're seeing something like 78" and it fits no problem in our garage with a standard 7' header. With the soft top on, the highest bow is something like 82" and so it's close but it still fits.
Will this system work for the 2019. Can’t seem to find. Thanks Eddie
Yes.
do you like the hard or soft top more? Great lift
In the past, we've always preferred a soft top being that they were so much easier to remove. This was nice in far away destinations like Moab. However, the JL soft top is just as heavy and maybe even harder to remove and so now, we kind of like the hard top.
