I just did this (snapping off the first new sensor). The old one was completely perforated and leaking oil. This was MUCH easier to do once I pulled the oil cooler off, as its 6 8mm bolts were pretty easy to pull with a flexible wrench; the sensor was easy to pull but very difficult to get started again (hence snapping the connector off trying to do it - fat hands don’t help) pulling the oil cooler off was the key to doing this, as once it was off the sensor was much easier to access (3.7L)
Good timing. I’ve been holding off on this job for a few months because all the other videos or comments I’ve seen online made it seem much more difficult.

A beast to get to and to get back in.
COULD THAT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE BE CLEANED sorry upper case I always hit it sorry and what can it be cleaned with? thank you
I'm thinking maybe removing the oil filter may allow ample room from under the car. i believe mine is leaking. could be wishful thinking though lol..
I replaced with a brand new sensor and it’s still leaking any recommendations?
I did everything from the top
I over tightened and cracked it what can I do 😢
