Worst part about being a tyler fan is all of his great songs that are unreleased. My personal favorite, Her and the Banks, is ONLY available on youtube or soundcloud. Oneida, Song While Your Away, Jersey Giant, etc are all soooo good and I love them more than most of his released stuff. Wish I could get more people on it but unless its on spotify/apple music it's hard.

Dang those are all good points. I feel like if all those were actually released they would be in his top streamed for sure

Great video! My top four (and these could slightly differ hour to hour, btw, which stands as a testament to the greatest of Tyler) are not album versions.
    1. Born Again - Sun King Brewery Barrel House Session
    2. Harlan Road - Red Barn Radio
    3. Shake the Frost - Red Barn Radio
    4. Honky Tonk Flame - Sun King Brewery Barrel House Session
Honorable mentions: Follow You to Virgie - Red Barn Radio (which could easily be swapped out for any one of the aforementioned). Hard Times - Red Barn Radio. 22nd Winter - Red Barn Radio. Purgatory - Creek Sessions. Banded Clovis - Creek Sessions. I Swear (to God) - LR Braggs Soundcheck Office in Nashville, TN 2017.
So much talent combined with so many great songs. Like Elvis, Hank Sr., and Johnny Cash, I can never get enough Tyler Childers.

Creeker is my all time favorite. Bottles and Bibles, Feathered Indians, Her and the Banks, Jersey Giant, Gemini, Peace of Mind, and Purgatory are the cream of the crop.

This made me smile a lot. I watched both of your videos about Tyler and have to commend you on the level of detail, engagement, and generally entertaining your content is. In your other video, I enjoyed learning about the detailed history of his life and history behind certain songs he wrote. (Plus 95% agree with your choices here, but ‘House fire’ would be 3rd round at least for me :)
Like you, most of Tyler’s work has special meaning to me, and I love how you capture that. For example how passionate you are about ‘Shake the Frost’. And makes you feel a sense of calm. That you would listen to it waking up with a good cup of joe and a spectacular sunrise.
I resonate with the sense of calm, but to me it is not a love song that can be grouped in with ‘Lady May’ or ‘In your love’ but more a love lost/regret song (Which makes me think it’s not about Senora?). I think he’s sending a reminder to slow down and enjoy the small moments with those you love, and tell them that you love them. Even if not in your life forever, the impact is there so make the most of it.
I love finding other fans that love TC’s work for how it can speak to the masses but also have a different message for those who need it. Plus the raw awesome talent..
Ok, now that I’ve officially professed my love for your love of my favorite artist in an essay I didn’t plan on writing..
Thoughts on his single released two days ago??? :)

There are so many great songs, and the rankings are going to vary a lot from fan to fan. But when looking at criteria that go into the rankings, I would have included something for social impact/standing for something and originality. Based on that, I’d consider “Long Violent History” one of his top five songs. He took a risk there, and he delivered.

This was a fun concept for a video. I would say that Banded Clovis would be near (but not at) the top for me. I had to do a little research to figure out what that title meant, but I love the story the song portrays. Hardscrabble life and tough decisions. Love a good murder ballad.

I do enjoy Banded Clovis it’s another one of those sneaky good ones! I feel like I’ll find a new appreciation for a lot of these songs that you guys are repping! Thanks for watching 🤙🏼
