Hi. Do you have stands at car shows/organised meets etc? (Obviously hard atm with the current situation). I always like to get hands on a product before a purchase if I can. If not do you do small samples of the blades which can also show the real colour options as well as a feel of the product? Cheers.
Ok I get what you are saying but I have got previous rimblades install and the glue is horrific. So how do you get the glue off . Please reply cos all I got is a mess ere
which side is preferable on the alloy face the long side or the short side? Not sure which gives better protection, i could apply my rimblades light either way
@@Rimblades will it provide no protection the other way around as I've done that. There weren't any instructions as to to which way to do it (long or short sides). The inside face of the alloy was quite deep so thought it could be that way.
@@paulcoughlan5619 The guide lip will not provide as much protection. The key issue is the bond as it's more difficult to get the area between the rim & tyre contaminant free compared to the face of the wheel. See how you go. Let me know if you have an issue.
Thank you Mr. Happy.
I’m assuming that if you need a tyre replaced then you would have to apply a new rimblade as I’m guessing the garage would damage them ?
Looks like you likely would due to the glue etc.
I love this so much ❤️
Thank you but close up please to see long short side - did you do short or long on inside.
cheers bud gonna order some later
Start in a convenient place. It's round?
Very true. I always start by the valve.

hello i sell samples and the quality is far better than rim blades
How do you remove the glue after several years after removing the rimblade?
I’m sure a product like Goo Gone would work. Got rid of the adhesive when I changed the badge on the back of my car

We do our own cleaner on our website specially formulated for us to dissolve the 3M VHB's bond. Makes removing and changing them really easy.
What is the difference between the rimblades and scuffs?
Thank you.
would this work on motorcycle (sportsbike) wheels as well?

Hi Paul. On the Rimblades Light, the short lip goes over top edge of the wheel and the long side with the 3M tape goes on the face. Regards.

@@Rimblades Thanks, it was able to bond but obviously the shorter side is on the outside face of the alloy. We'll see how it goes, thanks.
do i need to remove air from the tire ? or its plug and play without get to a service store ?
Appears to be plug and play! :)
Can you do them before fitting the tyre ?
No- the stick on styles we do need to go on after the tyre. Thanks.
Can they stay on at highway speeds?
Cheers, very helpful
the short side out? right?
Limoforus it depends on the rim.....watch the other you tubes and you’ll see larger side out. Depends on rim and the look you want
Can you put these on kerbed alloys?
We believe you would be able to (as long as damage isn't too excessive). Just ensure they stick well!
Quick question on rimblades, when you change the car tyres, will you need to buy more rimblade?
Tommy Johnson, yes
can you do it with rims on the car
Yes can be done. Check out our fitting videos at www.rimblades.com
You do not have to remove the wheel to install a he Rimblades.
Don't believe you need to.
