What a joke of a presentation. Right of the bat, the black covered cleaning swab was the giveaway. The rim was already clean and you pulled a fast one by showing a black dirty swab finished the job with no residue??? Give us all a break and not insult our intelligence.
If these were made to help prevent curb rash, why try and cut them? I think a better test would be to curb the rim and see if they work. You actually haven't tested anything. Also if the priming solution was not used, the protectors are not adequately fused to the rim....again a poor example of their durability when scraped. Can the tire be changed and serviced with these on the rim, or will the tire machine scrape them off? Thanks for the video
Exactly what I thought, your pressure is about 50lbs or max 100? Now take that 3000lbs vehicle moving over 5mph against a concrete curb the curb wins and makes this rimsaver pointless buy.
Don’t work, I prepped correctly and left the primer nearly 15 min, item was falling off wheel while I was still fitting, I think the old stock laying around and still being purchased is losing its bonding power. Ripped off completely.
They require 7mm of flat rim unfortunately your spokes go almost to the edge so they are unsuitable for rim blades. If you over lay the ends then cut through both with a new craft knife you will get a good butt to butt join. The adhesive works well but it must be on a totally clean surface and allowed to fully cure prior to driving imho the full 72 hrs. My only concern is when the tyre requires replacing as to whether it will be damaged by the hydraulic tyre lever
Well to those people are ignorant, $165+ to fix a rim. If I had one around my rim it would save it! Which it’s a lot less then fixing a rim. Nothing is 100% it for the minor bumps you re re!
These are shite! The second your wheel even smells a curb it’ll roll over and give up. If you want to get a decent set, go for RIM RINGZ as it’s one solid piece ring of hard plastic. You have to deflate the tire so the teeth bite into the tire which means it’ll never move unless you remove the tire from the rim.
dont get me wrong it pains me when curb my 19's but products like these just look Shit. Lets not beat around the bush here. Im still yet to see any real solution to curbing which looks half decent.
No plastic rim protector is strong enough to withstand the weight of a car against a concrete curb.. As far as your assessment, a thin thermoplastic strip may feel substantial against the amount of pressure you applied by your hands to cut thenm, but such a demo is hardly indicative of the hundreds of pounds per square inch of pressure on a single point against concrete, as in a real curbing situation. I don't think any intelligent person would take you seriously.
Big thanks to RimBlades USA for helping us make this video!

IMHO.....You should go against a Kurb to really test it.
Nicholas Lim of course lol we want to see results

The only fun I’ve had with rim blades is trying to remove them 😂

If you have black rims can they be touched up or do you have to have it all resprayed? Won't it show up and not match my paint or lacquer?
You should make a new video .....I see on website that the rims you put it on are not ideal for the savers cause it had raised parts
Wow. So uneven. I highly recommend the Rimblades Scuff. So easily to install and looks great after installation.
It is easy to come off. When it come off it will flap around and hit car body and leave marks on car paint.
5:40 Terrible fitting!
What test!
Can you change them if you want to put another colour when ever you want to change a different colour can you please tell me
Because I’m putting a green colour but after I would like to change it for red the color of my car

"That is disgusting" lol....classic
Was if time if you not fitting them correctly or testing them completely
Sorry, curbed wheel would look better
hit it to the gutter and see if it protects your wheel :-)
I put this on my rim, then I drove only 40 mph, in 4 miles, they all came off because the wheel spin. Is this happened to you?
Didn't you wait 24 hrs at least?
DID U WAIT 24 HOURS AS ONE SHOULD
Yeah right
These are shite! The second your wheel even smells a curb it’ll roll over and give up.

Overpriced product and alcohol wipes do that ... Knockoff is the same crap . And maybe drive it into a curb as a test ..
not a curb rash test
rim blades or rim savers?
What a rubbish test. The weight of a moving car againts concrete far exceeds anything your noodle arm could muster. And that install is rough AF
There is way better options on the market and that will protect wheel so much better but good video
do you have any examples?
Livaren alloygators

Rim Ringz is superior product.
Rimringz
the glue advert is bullshit , nothing is that good
junk
Waste of money. What happens when your tire Goes flat.
