Sweet little scooter! If the charger fits in the second battery slot, you could pull them both out at work, and steal power from the boss man! Where I used to work (before retiring), they were installing free EV changing stations..
Machines like this are hugely popular in China's cities for exactly the reason you cited about the battery pack. Check out a few vids here on RUclips for just how large of a percentage of traffic is composed of them!
BenjaminNelson oh weird, i was thinking due to the weight it would be lead acid. i was comparing it to my e-bike battery i built, its 48v 24ah and weighs about 15lb. but i guess your battery just looks smaller in the video.
Since it wasn't mentioned in the video or description it is a Lithium battery and it takes 5 hours to charge. Would be nice if you could charge both batteries at the same time if you had 2. So if the charger does only consume 400 watts it would cost here in Wisconsin 22 cents to charge it. So, 1 cent per mile isn't to bad - that's a 3 cent per mile savings www.fluxmopeds.com/#specifications
I have an electric scooter that uses SLA batteries at 48v with a rear in-wheel motor. I was wondering if I could change out the battery and put in a lithium unit with more volts, say maybe 60 or even 72volts. Would that harm the motor? Oh ya, the motor is rated at 600w.
I didn't mess around with the controller on this scooter. I'm sure you could boost the speed with a programming cable for it. Top speed is usually controlled partly by the limitation of system voltage and current, and partly by software. I'm sure it could be make to go faster, but the law usually has something to say about that anyways!
Im 16 and i have no drivers license and i live in a very small town. Im tired of using a bike. Can i ride this to school?? If i ride it in the streets?? Not roads. Please answer.
+Btml99 Yes, this scooter would be perfect for you. Keep in mind that laws on mopeds vary a bit from one area to another. Usually you DO need a driver's license, but NOT a motorcycle license. Please check your local laws.
+BenjaminNelson Thankyou. Well i live in texas so i checked and it stated that "20 mph the top speed and you can drive without a drivers liscense." Can i trick them into thinking it is top of 20 mph or would they not believe me??
+Btml99 Well, I suppose if you just drove slow..... Actually, under the seat in the scooter there is a switch that is a limiter on the controller. I don't remember what speeds it does, but the lowest setting might be 20 mph.
+BenjaminNelson Okay thankyou. im getting one for my birthday!!!! Turning 17 next month!! Im very exited. My parent said it will be surprise and they will give it to me before my birthday!##😃😃😃
Joey Repice This is considered the equivalent of a 49cc moped. You would need whatever is appropriate in your area for that. In my area, you need a drivers license, but NOT a motorcycle license. You can also legally park mopeds on sidewalks or in bike racks - really handy for somewhere like a university in a city. Again, laws vary a bit from place to place, so just double-check your area first, but it's the exact same thing as a 49cc scooter.
Good review Ben! ~Russ

so i figure the battery is lead acid?
It's a 74V lithium battery rated for 10,000 miles. Weighs about 22 pounds.

Does it have the power to climb a steep hill?
Would have loved to see the turns on the scooter.
can you unlock the speed?

BenjaminNelson I am thinking about getting one without the batteries but need a higher speed, 45 mph would do for me since I have a mc license.
What's the range on a single battery pack
