The sheer detail you're going into here is amazing. This is so helpful for learning to tank those dungeons. Please please please do these kinds of guides for the other dungeons as well! :)
There have been substantial changes every weekend to this dungeon since I recorded the video. All of the mechanics work similarly but mostly you might notice trash mob location changes. I'll edit this comment closer to launch once they finish redesigning the dungeon over and over. The dragon in the Fenryr area is now an auto-combat mob. Fight him solo and if you want you can make him eat the stags around him to give a little extra count. The bears are pullable as well, but do very high tank damage, definitely only fight them if you have the 150% movespeed buff and are very prepared for their bleeds and charges. Skip as many wolves as you can unless they get nerfed. There are shield maidens in almost every pack in the banquet hall area now, stay strong tanks.
Almost never seen such a detailed and comprehensive guide, which is still enjoyable to watch. ✔️ (Only minor thing: I‘d love the background music to be even more subtle)
I had to add at least one comment on your videos in hoping you read this. I've been tanking m+ very casually since legion and finally decided going into dragonflight that I'm going to be putting in a lot more effort into learning the dungeon and mechanics and how to lead my team on pulls etc. These videos are fucking top notch, you go into way more detail from a tanks perspective than anything I've been able to find. Thanks so much!
Just wanted to say thanks so much for the insight in this series - watched you a lot on Titanforge but havent seen your content yet. This series was great, and a really great guide to the dungeon..
Just started tanking in DF and this is by far the best videos I've come across for detailed Mythic+ before i jump into the dungeon. Keep up the good content!
Super nice video and good info, thank you. On DF live my tank tried to use abilities during Aegis and said it does not stop the channeling. Guess this was changed.
We need moar trells guides. Am gunna go hard DF s1. Sofar highest ive done is a ++23. Hopefully ull make more tank vids in future. I gobble all tank info up so☺️
This is the best walkthrough video I've seen in years. Im staying away from the DF dungeons until I've been able to do them blind on M0, but I hope you will have time/energy to do this for all of them. PS: How do you draw on top of your video like that?
You should be able to use abilities during the Aegis channel, the only thing that broke it for me was Spinning Crane Kick, so probably any channel (or maybe also something with a cast time) will break it. All my instant spells did never break it.
@@trell4254 Using a trinket broke the shield for me on Prot, Fel Devastation on DH, any channeled ability or on use effect maybe? Hasn't broke from standard rotation tho.
Love these videos. Easily the best way for me to learn a new dungeon is watching these alongside a good guide and spell tooltips. A few tips for future videos: Let every enemy cast succeed at least once so we can see what they look like. Fight/describe every mob in the dungeon rather than just the ones on your route. Do the smaller pulls you recommend to players instead of your normal large ones.
You're supposed to have sound on so you can hear him talking since he is explaining everything he pulls. the pulls that he didnt do wouldnt make sense if you want to have 100% enemy count. its always been a linair dungeon like this.
Nice video! To my memory the Shield of Light that Hyrja does, didn't we used be be line of sight that in the upper corner where you started if she is tanked close to the wall there?
correct. So the only things that are part of a tanks normal rotation would be spinning crane kick (brew), Fel dev (VDH), convoke (bear), or blood drinker (DK, not that you'll ever talent this in a dungeon).
Peot wafri here. Today I was doing a +8 HoV and those shieldmaidens were killing me. I get the debuff and I just can't heal back anymore. Did they changed that debuf? I'm in 382, gear isn't that well optimzed
Hey Trell! I was wondering how is threat in DF or is it the same as in SL? Are you having issues keeping aggro in beta? Especially playing with a fury warrior :D
That very first patrolling sentinel (that someone body pulled), is there ever a reason to kill it? It looks like it's easy to avoid. You mentioned you wanted to kill it with the banquet hall patrolling one later, was that just for count?
The sheer detail you're going into here is amazing. This is so helpful for learning to tank those dungeons. Please please please do these kinds of guides for the other dungeons as well! :)
I've ran these dungeons like 20 times on beta so far, still learned a few things here. S tier content, love it
Dude. Thank you. More of this please

I really appreciate the thorough guide, plan to start tanking keys in Dragonflight and this helps greatly :D

These videos are truly invaluable from any perspective but especially for tanks. Thank you so very much.

Sensational dungeon overview. Greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot for your hard work. It is extremly helpful¡¡¡ Thanks again. /clap
Thank you for doing this Trell!
Super nice video and good info, thank you. On DF live my tank tried to use abilities during Aegis and said it does not stop the channeling. Guess this was changed.
Please! do one of these for each dungeon. Incredibly helpful content! Thank you very much :)
Great video
YESSSSS!!! Dungeon walkthroughs are BACK!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Awesome walkthrough. Thanks a lot Trell - keep up the good work!
We need moar trells guides. Am gunna go hard DF s1. Sofar highest ive done is a ++23. Hopefully ull make more tank vids in future. I gobble all tank info up so☺️
Pls make sure future titanforge casts will be all about tank stuff and m+ 🤣🤣
Subscribed because this Walkthrough was so awesome. Please do one for all the dungeons.
Thanks for the super thorough guide!
Great video. Very informative 😁
dude yes this is the content we need. more tanking content!!
Perfect detail.. I love you.
Great!! Thanks! Lot of helpful tips!
marksman has been annihilating me this week. i didn't see you mention anything about his snap shot but it does crazy damage

Based on what I’ve heard now, I think this is correct. I’ll have to test more, I swear something on prot warrior broke the shield channel.

Thanks for helping my tank anxietylol
Yaaay trOllsky made walkthroughs
Nice video!
To my memory the Shield of Light that Hyrja does, didn't we used be be line of sight that in the upper corner where you started if she is tanked close to the wall there?
yeah i think that was possible but it doesn't hit that hard, and that's the only thing in the fight you need to use CD's on really
Trell ur the best man
that thumbnail tho 👀
Thanks, good video
I think you can use instant cast abilities during the shield on skovald, just not any channels
correct. So the only things that are part of a tanks normal rotation would be spinning crane kick (brew), Fel dev (VDH), convoke (bear), or blood drinker (DK, not that you'll ever talent this in a dungeon).
Yo Trell, will u do a series of the season 2 dungeons too?
I’m new to WoW and tanking. How do you throw two axes on your first pull? Awesome video btw.
it's a talent in the warrior tree that lets your throw weapon cleave

Hi! what do yoHi! what do you think about BDK on first pull in this dungeon? how much stack can tanks war and bdk on forty?
Please do it for every dung, info what to kick and what is not so important is hard to find somtimes.
TY
What plater profile are you using in this video?
Wait a minute… i havent played for a long time but i do remember this dungeon, is it the same thing?
When can we expect the next video? 😊
Hey Trell! I was wondering how is threat in DF or is it the same as in SL? Are you having issues keeping aggro in beta? Especially playing with a fury warrior :D
threat is ok at the moment for most tanks, DK and bear struggle a little
with the recent buffs to eye of the storm there's no way you do more than one cast
Yeah this last weekend the fight was completely different. I’ll make a comment with edited changes on each video as we get close to expac I think
Great video. But, please consider increasing the sound volume level.
You have any Addon that marks the mob you need to kick ? That may make easy to see when are in big pack
I will yes, an automarker weakaura. I'll post it on these videos when it's all setup.
Thank you very much just for a fallow

you probably dont need to pull it since the bears and bison are so easy now, to be honest
Dwarf BIS again sigh
