@@ArcaneAgent Thanks for the quick reply. I think I'm going to try and merge this build with your Dagger Monk Rogue build (watching as I type this) so I'm currently playing around with which Feats to mix and match for high tankability.
So torn between this and your Paladin Monk tank build, am using it now, just at the end of Varnhold Vanishing. I've had to turn difficulty up as it's so strong, but is this build better?
Where or how do you get the “power leveling” feature/game version you’re using please? Would love to test some build ideas myself. Cheers ! And great vid. Made me sub
Now you need to take each of these Builds... likely in order of your 'Most Viewed' from these videos, and do them from Level 1. That way we see how the Progress through the game against Level Appropriate Enemies. And, of course, how they play in Kingdom Management. :D
Great stuff! - Still tend to assume that Kenshiro also had Paladin (fitting: Divine Guardian) 2 , for his full auratic invulnerability. (Not that expensive for +9 all saves, or so...) Body and Spirit, they say. - Nani?! :P
Does this game have the sensai archetype? Crushing blow and wisdom to hit is pretty great. Its a good replacement for bard as well because it gets inspire courage. Wisdom Primary build requires less dex pushing and gives stunning fist dc's that are for real threats.

I wish Wikia or Gamepedia would have their spell lists finished for Pathfinder Kingmaker already. I'd like to easily be able to see the spells for both Clerics or Wizards without having to roll a 20 cleric and a 20 wizard. I'm considering a Touch Attack focused Cleric...

To demonstrate the power of a build you show us your lvl 20 character facing the 1st encounters of the game which are already not that hard to beat at lvl1??
I do not get the option to select "Wings" at lvl 11. Or at 12, or at 13. Where's my "Wings" feat? I have followed your build exactly, except I selected a few different skills (nothing major) I love the build, and I've been using Octavia to cast "Wings" spell when I need the AC boost - but it annoys me that this feat won't show up - any ideas? I'm running Eldritch Arcana, respec and the camera mod
Why not loose 1 lvl of vivisectionist and 1 lvl of monk and get 2 lvls of paladin? You loose some dmg but you get cha bonus to all saves. Its golden for a build that has +4 or even more to cha bonus.
@@ArcaneAgent As a non PnP ( no player base in my country of origin) i was looking up some guides to pathfinder in general and there is pretty huge base that advocates that almost all nonarmored builds could go 2 lvls of paladin and one lvl of SF for cha in to all of defences.
@@ArcaneAgent that is a late bloomer build its kinda Meh I have played the P&P for many years the Acid mudslinger is a much simpler build and is Good from the Jump every level is Good and go's in to dragon disciple black dragon easy
Your builds are great AND cool. Not to mention, powerful too. But they're only viable once your levels are maxed out. It's not viable when you're just levelling up because multiclassing at earlier levels puts you at a greater disadvantage because you become weaker.
Why are you not using 1st level classes through to 20th level .You know a lot of classes are not very good at lower levels so when you set your character only at 20th or close to that its only shows the high end. Some of the classes don't work well at all until the very end of the class . Wizards are very sucky at lower levels and very fragile
Wait, is this game different than regular Pathfinder in that you can stack the same type of bonuses on top of eachother? If it's not, then why stack all the dodge bonuses if you're just going to be getting the +4 eventually? (Which in tabletop would overrule all the +1's and +2's and +3's)
@Jake R I'm not really sure that there's a need for hostility because of a simple mistake. A mistake that was already corrected, too. If that's your knee-jerk reaction, you may want to see someone about that before you get yourself into trouble.
reddit posted a high AC build. Could you find ways to improve on it to make it tankier or better? www.reddit.com/r/Pathfinder_Kingmaker/comments/9phbpj/high_ac_builds/
Oof those are some already high tanky builds! I'll toy around with them, I'm more of a DPS type person dude, in fact I lean towards the more glass canon type of build hehe. But yes, I'll toy around with that Vivisectionist Build tank for sure!
Fury's fall seems a waste since your build doesn't have a strength bonus. really digging the video. edit: nevermind, i was mixed up on what adds to CMB.
Can anyone explain how he is able to re create a character up to level 20? Is there a re spec mechanism in the game that the stupid me has missed? Please advise. Thank you.
Haha i found much better way how to build scale fist tank. Forget rogue. Use barded archeologist. 4 archeologist for uncanny dodge and 1 feat take weapon finesse. 2 iori paladin levels for CHA to saves. And 14 scale fist. If you find amulet of agile fists you realy neednt any rogue (There are 2 monk amulets, one +5 atack/dmg and second +5 atack/dmg + unarmed finesse). Sneaks dont give you much and bard give you mirror images which is best tank spell ever.
@@ArcaneAgent Ah I see your point. You do this to map out and know what you need to take and when. I found your vid on how to do this and it worked perfectly with WinRar btw. Much appreciated! I wouldn't. It cheapens the game for ya. You need to live through the struggles. Plus I only made these level 20 builds to test their effectiveness, not play the game from the tutorial as a level 20

I saw another build for Daggers/Sais, but I want a tanky type.
If you can go aldori dueling sword feats that would help with a little more ac
@@ArcaneAgent Thanks for the quick reply. I think I'm going to try and merge this build with your Dagger Monk Rogue build (watching as I type this) so I'm currently playing around with which Feats to mix and match for high tankability.
Hey dude enjoyed the videos - would be good to see a tank series, ranged dps series etc. Allow you to try out all the different tank builds etc
All of the tanks, every of the tanks
do i wear ARMOR or not with this BUILD ??? ( im confused )
Is this build available on hard or unfair?
So torn between this and your Paladin Monk tank build, am using it now, just at the end of Varnhold Vanishing. I've had to turn difficulty up as it's so strong, but is this build better?
No mobility for defensive fighting?
Where or how do you get the “power leveling” feature/game version you’re using please? Would love to test some build ideas myself. Cheers ! And great vid. Made me sub
I actually have a video coming out to show you guys how I do it. Its complicated but it's simple after you do it 30 times
Basically just give yourself a lot of gold and you can recruit new mercs at your level.
He was wanting to know how to get do level 20 I believe
Yup, I want the lvl 20 power goodness :)
Thanks, will wait for your video
Tomorrow 11am
Your videos are awesome! You should build a duelist class, I have been wanting to experiment with that one
Duelist is on my do list
I am doing this build for WotR, but using WIS instead of CHA. Any pointers for Aeon path mythic ability that will work well with this build?
I've really only dorked with the Legend and the Trickster. I'm currently working on a Sensei Trickster build
What you think about rakshasa-spawn in this build?
Dtuu⁷9u9
I have no idea what you mean
Dueling sword tank build or elven curved sword build
Race:human or assamir
Hopefully you eventually fo an aldori defender/swordlord
switch dazzling display for precice strike.precice strike is a waste of feat
Possibly. If going solo youre right. But with party that also has the feat its golden
For teamwork feat at lv5 i would suggest Outflank. Easily negates the penalty from fighting defensively
I'll have to work that into my rogue dps melee build
Now you need to take each of these Builds... likely in order of your 'Most Viewed' from these videos, and do them from Level 1.
That way we see how the Progress through the game against Level Appropriate Enemies.
And, of course, how they play in Kingdom Management. :D
They do it well, very well
How did you get 2 of your stats to 18 and the rest at 0 or plus 1? Also it reads in finesse that it only adds change to hit not dmg
Rogue gets Finesse Training at lv3, and that changes damage as well. The stats are because of Aasimar racial.
Great stuff! - Still tend to assume that Kenshiro also had Paladin (fitting: Divine Guardian) 2 , for his full auratic invulnerability. (Not that expensive for +9 all saves, or so...) Body and Spirit, they say.
- Nani?! :P
Ya nerd
Does this game have the sensai archetype? Crushing blow and wisdom to hit is pretty great. Its a good replacement for bard as well because it gets inspire courage. Wisdom Primary build requires less dex pushing and gives stunning fist dc's that are for real threats.
also also, crane wing and reposte works well on sensai
Yes there be
a quick noob question: how do you do sneak attack when you are alone? I mean noone is flanking the target? :D
First attacks during the round, being concealed,,being stealthed, improved invis
@@ArcaneAgent Oh I see, that's great. But I wonder if sneak attacks are going to be viable if you play solo like that. But as long as you one shot enemies it doesn't matter I guess ha ha
Hey did you take Skill Focus Intimidate Skill for less the 10 ranks you add +3 and 10 or higher you get +6
I should
is a druid shapechanger tank viable ?
I'll have to test it more, but shapeshifting isn't as good in this game. Its possible though.
I'll stream today on www.twitch.tv/thearcaneagent
Hey finally decided to make a Monk tank. Love this video. Quick question. Is quarterstaff viable for this build. I do not mind unarmed but kinda like a quarterstaff for my monk. Again amazing work on the videos. Love them. Keep them coming.
Quarterstaff is always viable
@@ArcaneAgent Thanks Would I have to put more points into STR than DEX to get more out of using the quarterstaff?
can you make a necromancer?
Someone focused on necromancy or on undead minions?
I have seen that there are 2 kinds of necromancy, mages and clergy. its your choice.
Any reason you haven't increased mobility like on yoyr other scaled monk builds?
At what level does the character model change over from the rogue one to the monk one?
At whichever level your monk is a higher level than rogue
Hey do you have any tips on making a Ninja build?
Well ninja isnt a class in the game yet, so do you mean a monk type ninja or a stealthy katana type ninja
@@ArcaneAgent either or really I mean I know there's no Ninja class in the game like you said unfortunately but I'm guessing maybe as a start for a ninja build is a Rogue/Monk multiclass
Rogue duelist for intelligence armor boost
@@ArcaneAgent Rogue Duelist huh that's a interesting choice any feats and weapon recommendations
Ill work on the build.,ive got a ranger build out tomorrow and I'm working on a necromancer build as well, necromancer build will be Monday and duelist probably wed
How do you gain XP?
I posted a video on it
Hi do u change that nice potrait?
I made a video on that my good friend
Am I the only one laughing about a character running around one punching and kicking everyone in the vid? It looks like Roadhouse on crack. I want this guy with me in a bar fight.
I mean I would love to see some kinda movie or show where this is all a character does
@@ArcaneAgent Thanks a lot for all these videos. I've been learning pathfinder rules from scratch while playing the game so they've been extremely helpful.
I'm currently moving to a new house, will be setting up a new studio in the garage. Then I intend to make some more Wrath of the Righteous content and Rogue Trader content
Can u make a whole team build 6 person party suggestion?
Heck yes I can. Story companions or mercenary ?
Mix?
Sounds good to me
Actually im more curious on the party build and roles and tactical to improve my skill on these type of game...imagine 6 character with everyone has a unique role on the team that would be fun dont you think.. i love your arcane trickster as a damage dealer and the scaled monk tank as well yes tank.still we got a lot to cover the healer and buffer if the team.. enchanter and sub damage dealer or do we need anothee tank for the rear cover things like this
By the way im looking forward on your enchanter/trapper type i wonder how that works ahehe entangled and other disabling spells
Hi,i realy like your videos and I was wandering...can you make a paladin two-handed build?
Mayhaps
To demonstrate the power of a build you show us your lvl 20 character facing the 1st encounters of the game which are already not that hard to beat at lvl1??
Look at the date on the video, and then look at the rest of my videos...
Not even sure if this is possible but, how about a Pacifist Tank build. NPCs that attack die.
Oooooh I likes
Can you do a Monk tank build without any of the Persuasion stuff?
Yeppers
It's actually a little better without the persuasion stuff because you get a better will save.
I do not get the option to select "Wings" at lvl 11. Or at 12, or at 13. Where's my "Wings" feat?
I have followed your build exactly, except I selected a few different skills (nothing major)
I love the build, and I've been using Octavia to cast "Wings" spell when I need the AC boost - but it annoys me that this feat won't show up - any ideas?
I'm running Eldritch Arcana, respec and the camera mod
Eldritch arcana mod is kinda bugged
what is the recommended gears ?
Dex for a weapon finesse build. And always wisdom
@@ArcaneAgent isn't scaled monk uses no weapons ?
I believe you can use monk weapons, such as a kama
Why not loose 1 lvl of vivisectionist and 1 lvl of monk and get 2 lvls of paladin? You loose some dmg but you get cha bonus to all saves. Its golden for a build that has +4 or even more to cha bonus.
That...thats pretty nice I forgot about Paladin saves
@@ArcaneAgent As a non PnP ( no player base in my country of origin) i was looking up some guides to pathfinder in general and there is pretty huge base that advocates that almost all nonarmored builds could go 2 lvls of paladin and one lvl of SF for cha in to all of defences.
Its a similar reason i use rogue or wizard, sometimes its preference
me opening vivec room without a key .... sneek
So sneak
My new FAVORITE game! The channel rocks & love the build guides. sub'd
Thanks, check me out on Twitch as well. Name is LiquidOnTwitch
do A elemental earth sorcerer and just body people with Acid damage
Hehe and run around fully buffed just tossing them
@@ArcaneAgent also when you use an acid fireball it feels good
I think I'm gonna make a 20 level wizard focused on transmutation and polymorph/shifting
@@ArcaneAgent that is a late bloomer build its kinda Meh I have played the P&P for many years the Acid mudslinger is a much simpler build and is Good from the Jump every level is Good and go's in to dragon disciple black dragon easy
What do you mean acid mudslinger?
Your builds are great AND cool. Not to mention, powerful too. But they're only viable once your levels are maxed out. It's not viable when you're just levelling up because multiclassing at earlier levels puts you at a greater disadvantage because you become weaker.
I don't know about that. My level 4 27 ac sorcerer monk disagrees.
Why are you not using 1st level classes through to 20th level .You know a lot of classes are not very good at lower levels so when you set your character only at 20th or close to that its only shows the high end. Some of the classes don't work well at all until the very end of the class . Wizards are very sucky at lower levels and very fragile
Wizards are amazing throughout if you know what youre doing
Wait, is this game different than regular Pathfinder in that you can stack the same type of bonuses on top of eachother? If it's not, then why stack all the dodge bonuses if you're just going to be getting the +4 eventually? (Which in tabletop would overrule all the +1's and +2's and +3's)
Dodge stacks . the others dont
You alright? "Poser"? I said that Dodge stacks
Ah sadly the youtube creator app didnt tell me that
@Jake R I'm not really sure that there's a need for hostility because of a simple mistake.
But yes, I'll toy around with that Vivisectionist Build tank for sure!
thanks, I appreciate that. Just have fun with it. I'm curious about what you come up with.
I always do
Fury's fall seems a waste since your build doesn't have a strength bonus. really digging the video.
edit: nevermind, i was mixed up on what adds to CMB.
Glad you saw that. Either way my builds arent always perfect or the strongest
@@ArcaneAgent There's definitely a lot of value in "fun" over "perfectly mechanically optimized," I'm looking forward to trying out this build
Enjoy it. I'm working on some fun necromancy build right now
Can anyone explain how he is able to re create a character up to level 20? Is there a re spec mechanism in the game that the stupid me has missed? Please advise. Thank you.
I will advise, ive created 2 videos discussing this very thing. How to respecc your character
you and your vivi cheese...
Vivisectionist is my least favorite class as well as monk. I'm not a fan of over hyped cheese
I have a build I'd like to see you work on. That's building a relationship with me. Because damn, you are one hot man!
Wow
What kind of build should I put my spin on next? Let me know in the comments!!!
Toying around with a cheat to auto level. Who needs to worry about builds.
Builds are fun when you want to play legit
@@ArcaneAgent Ah I see your point. You do this to map out and know what you need to take and when. I found your vid on how to do this and it worked perfectly with WinRar btw. Much
appreciated! And while I might not run a level 20 from the tutorial, I AM tempted to start the game as a wealthy noble's son in possession of 100,000 gold lol.
I wouldn't. It cheapens the game for ya. You need to live through the struggles.
Plus I only made these level 20 builds to test their effectiveness, not play the game from the tutorial as a level 20
