I appreciate your work! I am confused about Bull Rush and Greater Bull Rush as to how they modify a kinetic blast? They appear as a CBM feat icon when taken, so would they only apply to a melee attacking kinetic blade wielder? or is there some exception that occurs when using Kinetic Blast with Push infusion? Does that enable BR's effects?

I just started playing Pathfinder Kingmaker this past week and I've watched a lot of of your build videos.
This is an Awesome Build! Can't wait to see your Pathfinder walk through especially if you use this Kineticist Thug build.
Have you considered doing a Pathfinder Run with a main character and the rest just mercenaries? Some of your builds might not work since your ability score would be going from 25 points (main character) builds to 20 point (companion) builds with the merc's? Keep up the Great work!!!

Like the build here, I have been wanting to do a kineticist since they came out. One question though and may have missed the reasoning, why Water instead of Air or Earth? Was it because the water wall does the bounce?

I used this cool website called google. And i searched for pathfinder kingmaker portraits
why not auto cast an extended range blast, or gather power low extended range auto cast composite blast to prevent your character moving forward and he adds in extra damage whenever you miss micro, for that matter why not use composite blasts in the wall and deadly earth?
Because I was having fun.
I would love too see your idea of an classic 2 handed sword fighter( no glass canon, someone who is in the front line)
Or a 2 bladed sword version.
He has a ton of builds for Kingmaker including melee stuff. Really there's not anything specific about wielding a two handed or two blade sword that requires a detailed step by step level 1 to 20 guide. Just look at any of the strength based melee builds geared towards any two handed weapon and where ever he's picked a feat specifically for x weapon, just pick the equivalent one for the weapon you want to use.
Be aware though that the reason why there isn't a profusion of guides based around things like the two handed sword, is because there are other weapons in the two handed weapon range that offer better statistics, such as longer reach, and better critical ranges, so most guides will be angled towards those weapons, because when people look for guides for how to build a character, they want to most numerical 'value' out of what they are doing. An extra attack. Some control feature not available to most mortals. They want the killer detail that transforms them into gaming gods, without 'cheating'. That's kind of the point of guides. Someone with a better understanding of all the intricate details who can show you something you weren't aware of.

It would definitely work, but ive done a little too many Dazzling Display builds, and yeah that would be the direction I would take it.

Would love to see an intimidation build that incorporates a few levels of magus/dragon disciple to be able to cast many arcane spells while killing foes in melee.
Bard. Bard is great at this. Bard/dd is very underrated.
The issue with caster build mixes is that most casters are back end heavy. They get their powerhouse abilities in their later levels, so mixing anything else with them risks severely reducing their abilities with only a moderate value trade-off. After all, how much better is the intimidation build than just having a pure Sorcerer that can spam five different types of empowered CC spells, plus everything else they can do.
For the Intimidation build to work well it needs a bunch of progressive feat buys, which on a caster build are usually used to re-enforce their casting power and penetration. Gearing back towards a powerhouse fighting build just makes the caster side pointlessly gimped. Likewise, Dragon Disciple builds usually treat the caster required component as a vestigial limb. Necessary for the buy into the class, but otherwise effectively redundant once the goal has been achieved, as typically once the four initial levels of DD have been activated, the build doesn't bother returning to the caster line to keep going, instead switching to some third class to buff into some quasi martial power curve. The best DD builds are with class mixes like Bards, because they don't really have a high level power spike and a lot of their initial and mid levels are geared towards buffing, which doesn't require power or penetration because it's not intended to nuke swaths of enemies like classic caster archetypes.
Pure magus builds are about the best gish stuff you will find, where they are solid melee-ists and reasonably capable casters as well.
I love how with most of these builds you can just ignore the additional CON and make them as a side character rather than the main in your party

He has. Check through the channel. Also there are a few builds that if you used a respec mod you could build the companions into while still having the story character with you. I play with a bunch of companions and none of them are the default build that came with the game.
Did you know that spell penetration dont work with physical blasts. Spell Pen works well with energy blasts. But it still a nice build and I might see if i can incorporate it into my Fire-water-fire Kin Knight to see if i can make it better

I am revising my nightmare Monk build because I crossed my skills on the one that I posted that was based off a half orc character I am making it with a Motherless Tiefling throughout I still have yet to pass level nine in the game life prevents me from playing it but now I’m focused on playing just that game I will post the new build soon
Just some little tips(hope these don't count as insult for you as they seem to do in most parts of the internet):
You can reach much higher CMBs with Trip Infusion in this game since there is a feat adding your dex modifier to your con/wis/int modifier (depending on Kineticist sub) and the only req is the trip feat (which is +2 to your trips with infusions anyway).
The highest lategame CMP with trip Infusion I was able to get is 48, but that is with Lich's hat so for Kineticist that's far worse than the actual Kineticist's headband with +6d6 +6 damage.
But even without the hat your trips will be quite high 44 CMB before Act 7 and 47 in Act 7 with the final kineticists hat.
While tripping doesn't look as funny as pushing it is actually as effective since you just put your deadly earth on top of your wall, it is a giant Aoe anyway, so you can still aggro with deadly earth after having pre cast the wall.
While 48 CMB is not guaranteed Trip vs wild hunt in the middle of combat it is guaranteed if you catch them flat footed and you can actually two shot (assuming you're opening with maximise + empower, have the kineticists hat for 6d6 +6 damage) most wild hunt (except monarch i think) so if you have the hare, II feat and initiative necklace, most fights will be over before they even start.
Also, um you can use bowling infusion and pushing infusion at the same time, but I think its a bug
@@ArcaneAgent Yeah, there are quite some bugs around the kineticist, don't know if any got fixed since I last played, but infusions stick around after you cast an ability first time in combat even if you toggle them off.
Biggest glitch I was abusing was using gather power all the time for free maximise and empower, even in combat if you instantly after your first cast, when your char would start gathering power, click your ability again you don't need to wait for 1/1/2 round but the ability would still be free of burn cost.
Nice build! i'm wondering why the 12 wisdom though? would you not benefit from a 12 charisma better? oh wait... right Tiefling... ok second question would a Asmara of some kind fit the build? one that increases dex charisma and persuasion similar to the Tiefling but without the charisma loss? is there something like this available?

Azata-blooded aasimars have a +2 racial bonus to Dexterity and Charisma, and a +2 racial bonus on Persuasion
I believe this tiefling gives +2 to cmb

Remove his AI and he will stay in place after each manual attack. With AI on any attack or action you take will cancel his hold.

@@ArcaneAgent It's a live and learn. I love the builds you do though. Have you thought about shifting to Divinity Original Sin 2 until The new pathfinder or Baldurs Gate 3 come out. I think you could make some pretty wicked builds on DOS2.

Will the wall hit allies or does it only affect enemies? I'm thinking in making a little phalanx with your reach rogue build behind them and letting them all make attacks of opportunity when the bull rush succeeds would make that a lot stronger but if I'm hitting my own guys then probably not a good idea.

Your kinetic blast does damage to them. It's like casting a spell
Don't know if anyone else pointed this out already but the reason why your char can't stand still & keeps moving to attack is - I think - because you got AI turned on. So your char with his hands run into hand-to-hand combat. Turn off AI should set it right (head with brain button below 'hide' button).

It would. However the push of course pushes them back, giving them a chance to be pushed back again.

I remember fear being BAD on the tabletop, but in Kingmaker every damn build is using it. Guess there aren’t a lot constructs or undead in the game.
There are some constructs and some undead in the game, but not a whole lot
Actually? In the game undead and constructs are susceptible to a bunch of stuff they aren’t in pnp. Intelligent undead are susceptible to fear anyway unless specifically stated, it’s only mindless stuff and animals that don’t care how pretty you spin your sword.
why do you need so much STR ? doesn't all your skills come from CON? or at least the DC for bull rush is calculated with CON, or?

Water gives you push infusion. Water also allows you to have a water shield or water armor

I'm thinking this new Keneticist might replace the mad dog barbarian in my last game....? I like the Sylvan sorcerer as well...? I'll have to start over for the fiftieth time... lol...

Im not gonna lie... I need to stop watching your videos because Ive restarted twice after like 15 hours each due to your last two builds. restartitus is tough. Also, does tiefling really matter for the build or is it just preference

Something you can experiment with on Kineticists are focusing on pure constitution to get as much burn as you can, then SPEND those burns on whatever buffs you want, and make use of Elemental Overflow for other stat bonuses. It's amazing what one can do with kineticists that way :)
With plus To Constitution stat items I can get a lot of burn possibilities, but you only need 7 burn for max overflow
@@ArcaneAgent Oh you're right, I was playing around with this a long time ago and in my head there was another step to the elemental overflow lol, I'm getting old, memory's gone
@@ArcaneAgent Wait now I remember the deal lol, the point was the actual buffs you can do with the burns, not elemental overflow, now I'm back on track. So getting as many burn points as possible means you can trigger those extra buffs even more times, like getting incredible damage resist or whatever you like, well, things like that, you get the idea.
Im 33, hair is going, mind is somewhat still fresh. Legs are shot, knee is busted but my wasd fingers are good
Oh yeah in that case yes extra DR and shield would benefit from those burns

@@ArcaneAgent I mean in general. I just started to play the game yesterday and try to figure out what I want to play and how I want to play, so I'm checking a lot of builds. And I have seen many with only 1 level in something right at lvl2. Since level 1 is only the tutorial anyways, for me it would make sense that the order of lvl 1 and lvl2 do not matter?!
So hard to get into this game btw. especially because most builds don't offer any gameplay. You are the only one I have found so far. So thanks and nice work :)

Love the videos, but they seem to be getting a bit repetative with the dazzling display in almost all of them. Also the ads are getting a bit excessive. Other than that though keep them coming.
Yes. Dazzling is going to be taking a break from my builds. The dazzling in this build helped keep baddies away for sure.
I place an advertisement every 3 minutes.
1. It does allow me to make more money per video. Honesty first.
2. It allows you guys a brain break every 3 minutes.
3. My watch time has actually gone *up* since i increased my ads.

Still learning, this system. Ive only played DnD games through video games. Which I think helps because I look through everything and test it all out

Turn off the AI to make it so your hold position continues to work

I'm loving your monk builds. I was wanting to make a Cleric party member and was wondering what you think about Clerics and their sub-classes.
Ecclesitheurge is my favorite because of all of the spell casting

This build is exactly what my party needs, ranged blasting plus CC/AoE damage, looks great. I wonder if I could make it work for the Tiefling companion...? I suppose I could respec her if not. When I originally looked at her talent tree it was like getting hit with a confusion spell, especially considering there's 2 versions of her, so I went with the ranger companion instead, lol. Might have to give her another look now though.

Just faced stomped the first cultist quest enemies feared the whole time did second stat to increase CMB to plus 2 and with fury’s fall at 13 Dex plus str min +7 plus lvl for tripping. They stand up you punch them again in the end he will be fire and water for elements 3 thug 9 monk 8 Kineticist
Would love the masters opinion on this build so far. I wanted Kineticist for the nice little touch ac attacks
