- Views of the station earlier today from when the M9 arrives until it departs for Hunterspoint Ave. LIRR President Phil Eng and others were there for the first run. An M3 was there at the station as well giving evidence that the M9's, M7's and M3's were all in service when the M9's started to be incorporated into the LIRR MU fleet.

5:41 that was the brightest spark that we could ever see I really liked that one
The propulsion systems are a lot quieter
It’s beautiful!!! 😊😊❤️❤️
Work of art
I love these!
Wowww , Excellent video man 😀👌🏻👏🏻😇
Thanks.
Had my first m9 Thursday night from Jamaica to Penn on the 5:56 from Huntington. I like them!! They feel smoother running than the M7 and the seats don't seem as bulky as the M7s are
The M3 and M1 will always be my favorite though. More seats in the small areas than the M7 and M9 have, seats fit people more comfortably (especially if you need to sit 3 in 3) and you don't have those big bathrooms taking away all those extra seats that people could be sitting in unlike the M7/M9. The M3 is perfect for when a train is short say 2 cars and you'll still have enough space/seats for people to sit and stand comfortably unlike the M7/M9
Nice! Got that new train smell, lol
I love it mate cool filming it
Very good video!!!!
Thanks.
Like the propulsion and by the way they're also building to Metro North to replace their 1983-1984 M3As which were coincided with Harlem Line electrification to Brewster from North White Plains
Cool
The M9s make the M7s look like the M3s, LOL!!!
Yo. Its different fleets, and designs.
@@arielgonzalez5296 Yes, that I know, but I'm talking about the cleanliness of these railcars, M7s are starting to get dirty and grungy like the M3s!!
@@kevinb8881 sort of. The railroad needs to deeply clean oftenly.
Rephrase the sentence saying “The M9 makes the M7’s as bad as the M3s in dirtiness wisd
Don’t be rude to the M7
The new cars look really sleek
Wow
I wonder how the engineer and conductors felt riding the M9 for the first time! Plus I wonder if they’re assigned by schedule they have to use this train at service?
Nice! Is there any possible way that I can use your clip in my video of the M9. I just would like to get as much clips of the M9s as possible :)
Sure, check out my Selkirk video of the CSX yard when the M9's first arrived in their yellow facade.

Question: Why are they only two car units? In the UK we now have 12 car trains with just a cab at each end. Additional driving cabs and automatic couplers cost a lot of money and waste passenger space. Do you ever run 2 car trains?
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_700
bit late but the lirr trains can vary in length from 4 to 12 cars long (in even numbers obviously). The two car setup lets this happen.
Just an M7 with an M8 face transplant and new motor, thus the saying why is 6 afraid of 7 lol
Did You Ride The Train
Yes! M9 on the LIRR! M9A when?
Canceled
So this means M3A IS NO LONGER RETIRING!
@@ryanreel8902 M9A isn't canceled.
M9A is scheduled for release in 2021.
Steven Cruz, Aw man.
Lol M7 running away from M9
8:18
M7: OK WHAT THE-
Eventually...
M3: That was stupid.
M1: Hmmm.
ACMU: What was stupid?
C3: M7 running away from M9.
Flashback...
M7: AHHHHH ITS M9!
M9: Hey what’s wrong?
M3: Oh.
M5: **stabs M3**
M3: **chokes dies**
M1: M5 WHAT THE HELL?!
Why Does Huntington Need Electric Trains
Hope it doesn’t break down often.
Maybe that's why the first trip was to Hunterspoint Ave. - they were nervous it would break down in the East River tunnel.
@@warrenhoffman2006 Alot of people live in Long Island City, so it terminated at Hunterspoint Avenue.
You can buy fancy new cars, but it won't make up for the total incompetence and corruption that is the MTA from top to bottom.
First
Stop saying First!
