Stumbled upon your channel a few days ago and have been watching every single one of your videos. They are that good! Keep up the great work!
Thanks a lot! I'm really glad that you enjoy my videos, and I really appreciate your support!
@@LonestarTrips something similar happened to me I typed LIRR on RUclips and saw your LIRR Jamaica to Penn Station video their and I decided to watch it because it’s seems interesting and you did a voiceover gave all the information and I looked at your channel and I decided I would definitely stick around
WHY? this isn't that interesting, are you disabled and home bound? Then I'd agree with ya.
That driver sitting in the opposing cab at 3:07 was NOT happy to see you filming 😂😂
Haha yeah 🤣 I actually didn't notice them sitting there until I was reviewing the footage for this video!
Far Rockaway Station used to connect to what is now NYCT A line terminal at Mott Avenue.
Trains entering close behind trains leaving Jamaica Station is a daily occurrence...
Yet and in 2016 farockaway had the option to reconnect due to fundings and large investors but the politician and board members of that district turn it down . What is being built now is housing development
Wow, I was very pleasantly surprised at how well produced and thought out this was. You have a very good speaking voice and the presentation was easy to follow. All I can say is you have your 400th sub arriving!
Thank you! I do my best to present everything in a professional and entertaining manner, so I'm glad to see that it's working as I had intended. I really appreciate the support, and I hope you will stick around!
Now these Kawasaki trains are on Train Sim World 4 along with the M7s
Far Rockaway is my home station. But I haven't used it much in the past few years so I haven't been on these new trains. They look like the old ones but with some added features.
Really good video and review. Watching this reminds me how much I miss New York. Thanks for uploading!
Thanks for the support, and I'm glad you enjoyed!
i came here from train sim world long island railroad DLC to see how it looks irl
and great work done by you ,the narration was so good
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed!
(7:08 and Long Beach) Very Nice Video. I think Far Rockaway has its own way of sometimes being crowded and sometimes being very empty, such as the Long Beach or West Hempstead Branches.
Edit:
8:07 Not only is it interesting because its so close to another train, but its another M9, thats pretty sick
long beach is more busy after lynbrook and during peak and summer times.
This is my home branch! I rode the M9 from Valley Stream to far rockaway a lot. Awesome video!
It’s feel amazing seeing those cars on the track when you help make those
do a video on the r211 subway cars and do a ststion tour of lefferts blvd they putting cbtc on the a line
LIRR is my home road. I've rode in the M9's a few times, and the most notable thing now as opposed to riding the M7's is you can actually see out of the windows. Most of the M7's lexan windows are hazed over, particularly on the south side of the train as the equipment is never turned. Great video.
The problem with the M9s is there’s no door closing warning signal directly next to the automatic sliding door so one thing that they should look into is adding them. Also the only thing that’s ridiculous is that the LIRR’s route announcements are outdated because they use the announcement signal before announcing the current station the destination they’re going to and the next station that will come up so that’s something that they should change by getting rid of the announcement signal before announcing the route so they can continue to compete with MNRR or MNCR at all times.
They really did a fantastic job on those cars.
I live in Woodmere. The reason the line was so empty is because the neighborhoods the Far Rockaway branch services are VERY orthodox Jewish, and people don't travel or work on Saturdays.
Nice video!
Ah the Far Rockaway branch. I live in Woodmere...
Liked it
Honestly the lack of arm rests between seats makes it more accessible to plus size people who can't fit a single narrow seat
I wish the Jamaica station was better during the winter
Your voice should’ve been used for the M9 rail cars.
I would have loved to be the voice on the M9s! If the MTA ever reaches out for something like that, I won't hesitate to say yes!
Good luck with the onboard announcements..I’ve never been on a lirr train where the announcement was clear and understandable.. most conductors do their best to garble the words instead of the automated announcements and using the displays..
Very nice and like 12
I saw that yesterday lol
Like lirr
Much better than our very own scotrail as we call it crap rail
Is there a "near rockaway?"
No
We all know that nobody likes the newer announcements
Funny enough that far Rockaway LIRR station is in queens
That is true.
When does metro north get there’s
Not sure. Presumably sometime in the next year, but who knows.
@@LonestarTrips they wont, the harlem and hudson lines have the m7, while the new haven line gets m8
Is that hey bear sensory music?
Nope! All of my music is selected from the RUclips audio library. It's possible that they also use similar or the same music, but it was not my intention to draw a parallel with them.
That female voice sounds … odd
