Great unbiased review. You get what you pay for. If a cheaper version works for a person, great. But that well worn saying round here is: Buy cheap. Buy twice. We are still in an era when we can decide what to spend our hard earned dough on. 🙄 some awesome stuff coming out the bike packing scene at present and especially from your side of the planet. Just brought a jacket from Ground Effect in New Zealand to replace one from the 80’s! I’ve got farm fencing tools from Aus and NZ from that era still going strong to🤘🍀
Oh yeah, going cheap with bikepacking gear is a high stakes game! It's never fun to find out something isn't as warm or waterproof as you were hoping 😂
@@JustRideAdelaide yeah I’ve got a kit test for a modified sleeping arrangement planned for the Winter Solstice weekend. It’s become an annual fixture. December/ January pick a random week/weekend and do a bike packing trip to the Preselli’s in West Wales. Ideally freezing/raining and windy. It always seems to find any imperfections in your chosen kit list 🤦♂️🍀

except all the velcros and stitchings are more likely to break compared to a simple dry bag and rubber ski strap
