You have the best dental hygiene of any cyclist on the planet! I would say that in 48 hours you saved anywhere from 8 minutes, if you brush twice a day, but you seem like a three times a day kind a guy, so I would say 12 minutes.
FYI, at the junction where you said the car would have hit you, you were obligated to yield to them. Those triangles painted on the road indicate who has to yield

As an American living in Malmö, I truly love the bike highways around Skåne. Good on you to make the trip in 2 days man! I did the trip from Malmö to GBG but did 3 days instead to enjoy the view and stop by a sauna.
The integrated cables being an impediment to breaking down a bike for travel was interesting and honestly something I wouldn’t have even thought about! Got my money’s worth for this week! 😂 Also, been using and really liking Komoot since the episode you did on it, so that week was worth it too!!!
It’s funny you should mention it. I had no clue how frustrating internal cable routing is. It also makes it really difficult to swap bars basic things become monumental tasks now that this new trend of shoving all the cables inside the bikes are becoming more and more prevalent.
Oh no Winston! As a Dog owner/lover I know how it hurts to lose a dog. I’m glad I got to see him in your vid’s from time to time. I’m sure he had a great life.
Aw jeez.....Winston was a warrior. I guess the W at the top of the new tattoo is for HIM. We had an amazing yellow lab and When he dog died I donated some money in his name to a Lab Rescue. It made me feel a bit better.

First of all, sorry for your loss! RiP Winston. Second, this was one of my favourite videos and follow you for years. Made me think why I don't adventure more!
Next time you should do the west coast of Denmark! Incredible nature, awesome gravel roads cutting through the wild dunes and unlimited coffee on us! 💙
I did a very similar trip in 2018! Started in Copenhagen, bike-toured and camped my way up to Gothenburg, across the Stenaline back into Denmark and down to Aarhus. I was getting bored of riding solo at that point and took the train back to Copenhagen a day early. I used Komoot but I didn't have any sort of GPS head unit so I tried using audio cues, which sucked. And i was getting annoyed with all the detours onto weird townie bike paths, so I quit it and just took main roads, which also kinda sucked but got me where I was going faster. Your route looked way more fun! Similarly I got a tattoo on my trip, except at the beginning, from Jonas at Crooked Moon in Malmo! I don't necessarily recommend getting a tattoo before 4 days of bike touring, but it was a right place right time kinda thing.
I got 4th in the 1972 Tour de Skuggenlaggen. What I would've given back then for that square rear tire of yours; I would've gotten a podium. Rad trip, great report as always. Tailwinds into the universe, Winston, and much love to your people here with us.

Being from Sweden, we don’t really like the new plastic caps. But it’s for the better good. 10 years ago 2 guys from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 did that trip, but on skateboards. They crossed Sweden over to Stockholm , where they did some laundry at my place and took the ferry over to Finland 🇫🇮
In Scandinavia there are signs and marks in the road who needs to stop if crossing road or lane. Learn them before, then you won´t be afraid to get hit or not when crossing. Nice vlog! Inspiring!
I went on an awesome tandem bicycle ride in Gothenburg a few years ago... randomly happened after visiting Llama Lloyd's coffee shop and seeing this hella old yellow tandem bike that he rented out. You gotta go back!
I hope you enjoyed your stay in Gothenburg. Gothenburg - Helsingborg is the "Kattegattleden" (Kattegat route) which is a continuous (save for roadworks) bike path/route. Although it is a bit lacking inside some of the cities, for a road cyclist.
Love it, RIP Winston. Keep it up man, love your videos. Just got a new titanium gravel bike and have been under-biking my ass off :)
Nice to see that you enjoyed my country and the roads where I ride every week! That last stop, where you got the tattoo is probably 200m from where I live. Next time you’re in the area, give me a shout! 😊
Re the integrated hoses on the new bike, might be worth looking into the Q-connector from Zeno. Promises tool-free in-line connecting/disconnecting for hydraulic brake lines with no need to bleed for multiple uses.
Sorry about Winston. What a nice ride and another well done video. I would of rode with it. Nice looking tattoo. Thanks for the video and take care, Al
Hej! Having lived in both Copenhagen (briefly) and Göteborg (a loooong time) I know these roads intimately! And have ridden most of them on my Breakaway of similar vintage. In my Breakaway case though (first gen, maybe they changed this at some point) the rigid plastic panels in the sides are removable allowing the case to break down and roll up just for this use case. Cool video, thanks for sharing. And I hope you enjoyed the Swedish west coast!
I've done almost the same route (Malmo to Gothenburg) but as 400 miles of gravel. Swedish gravel is premium, you should have tried this! And: RIP Winston ;-(
A delight as always! Regarding the hoppy tire, I've got a conti top contact that had a lot of life in it when it became the first tire I blew off during tubeless set-up. Long story short; machine shop air compressors are great until they're not, and I've got it on the rear with a tube. I'm committed to getting a full run on it despite the bang and subsequent wobble.
I think I need to take it off and let it sit in the sun for a little bit to just relax the rubber crazy how annoying that bump is though especially unsmooth roads
How many minutes did I save brushing on the goooooo?
A good 6 minutes is my guess.
You really did save time brushing your teeth on the bike. I'm going to do that too.
All of them.
