Rather than talking about the spoilers, why don't you just demonstrate how to play the game. Do you really think showing card number 58 with crate 24 is going to mean anything to anyone if they get a glance at that particular card? It's like you are trying not reveal who wins the American Idol or something. They are cards, crates, resources, meeples, etc that no one can remember as soon as you move on to the next topic. Bottom line - you frustrated me more than taught me how to play the game. Now, I'm not all that interested because of your approach to teaching the game. Another problem - you are not the only one that teases the spoilers and fails to teach the game. Oh well, I will look elsewhere for the rules around the Meeples.
Honestly I don't care about spoilers at all, I'm the kind of person who reads the wiki of a movie before deciding if I want to go see it. Like you say though, everyone is treating Charterstone with kid's gloves and I've gotten so much hatemail in the past about spoilers of things, that I was inordinately sensitive about it. I'm going to do a full on video of charterstone and just tell people to stay away if they don't like spoilers. Thanks for the honest feedback, I feel like its very legitimate.
Wish I would’ve watched this before I had started lol but you give me hope that I can catch up. I’m playing solo against two autos and they both beat me pretty bad today. I’m still confused about what I carry over to the next game so I’ll keep it all the same the next time I play except for maybe the reputation track? Idk.
You don’t keep anything except what your storage allows you to hold onto. Another big thing is that you can only keep one of each type of thing except resources and money, so only one of each minion and only one friend, only one treasure, etc
