You should do Endless Tavern's Indomitable Guardsman Spirit, if you take requests. It would be amazing to hear it sung by Guardsmen, or a Commisar. I also really loved the Guardsman cover of Xenophobia, seeing more filk or filk-adjacent music is always amazing.
Wait, this is an AI song? This sounds like a parody of church rock that was written for a Starship Troopers sequel that's generally awful but still nailed the aesthetic and satire
Would it be ok for my ARMA 3 group to use this in ops? Seeing as it was made by you even with AI assistance we do need to ask permission as we do have streamers among us or those who record and post videos to their youtube channels.. :)
@VB-92 the original song from Marauder, or the 40k cover version? Because you said "AI Cover of an AI Song." The original was not AI generated, so the description is confusing, if not unintentionally misleading.
(Original: Starship Troopers 3) Courage, Duty, Honor! We call upon our troopers, in this our darkest hour, Our way of life is what we're fighting for, The flag that flies above us, inspires us each day, To give our very best, in every way! It's a good day to die, When you know the reasons why, Citizens, we fight for what is right, A noble sacrifice, When duty calls, you pay the price, For the Federation I will give my life! Well all is fair in love and war, That's what my gunny says: You're not alive unless you're almost dyin', These are the words I march by: Duty, Courage, Honor, And every single day I'm out there tryin'! It's a good day to die, When you know the reasons why, Citizens, we fight for what is right, A noble sacrifice, When duty calls, you pay the price, For the Federation I will give my life! (Courage, Duty, Honor!) The Eagle, he flies high above us, The Eagle, he makes our spirit soar, He gives me the strength to carry on, To fight, and win this war! I feel like this is missing the original vibe, the chorus feels off. It feels too happy? The original was more melancholic. Lyrics are brilliant. A good effort but, the original holds up better in my opinion
I agree, it's a bit rough in spots, might be the AI isn't quite there yet. Still fiddling with it, just figured I'd share since it doesn't seem that bad all things considered.
@@VB-92 we can just say the commissar is equipped with a voice modulator due to an old war injury. Also, we can say this song was sang during the battle for Terra against Horus's armies.

Krige guard: good they have us surrounded tell the rear to bring the sky down!
I can generally see this being sung in a church on a world the day before a crusade begins
i could see it being sung just before a regiment of guardsmen get deployed maybe kriges or cadians
As far as we can tell, the Krieg version is not so good - the lyrics are muffled.
A special thanks for the Drum Korps of Krieg, and the Mordian Brass Guard.

I don't mind people using my stuff so long as they don't claim they made it.
*looks over at the nearby same song from Starship Troopers Marauder back in the mid 2000s*
That wasn't an AI generated song.
The instrumental and vocals are generated, the lyrics are modified from that.

Its the theme song from Starship Troopers 3
Any chance you could reupload the ork cover of Dragula?

Our way of life is what we're fighting for,

Well all is fair in love and war,
That's what my gunny says:
You're not alive unless you're almost dyin',
These are the words I march by: Duty, Courage, Honor,
And every single day I'm out there tryin'!
It's a good day to die,
When you know the reasons why,
Citizens, we fight for what is right,
A noble sacrifice,
When duty calls, you pay the price,
For the Federation I will give my life!

The Eagle, he makes our spirit soar,
He gives me the strength to carry on,
To fight, and win this war!
