I've been spiral binding my SL Student and Parent guides for a few years now, and LOVE the look, and ease of use. Plus it saves me the cost of the huge SL binders. Felt wrong at first to not use the SL binders, but I've really, really loved them this way! ❤
Staples spiral bound our HBL B & C but I went to to them for D and they don’t do it anymore:( it was a game changer having the guides spiral bound the binder was one and done our first year using Sonlight. Now I’m stuck. Which HBL would you recommend for an 8th grader that’s done mostly world history family style and is ready to go it alone for American History moving forward?
I teach Lord of the Flies to my 9th graders. I use an audio version of the book on RUclips for my students, and it's really good. You may want to try that out. 😊
That is a good idea. We may end up reading it, or I may have my son read it and give her the clif notes version 🤣 It's the only book that she has ever said "nope, no, not going to do it." lol
@@Townsendhouse1 To be honest, it took me about three different tries to read the book. I couldn't get past the first chapter, but I forced myself to at least read beyond that, and once I did, I was hooked! I love the statement the author is making about the good and evil inside all of us. It has become one of my favorites. I hope your daughter will give it a try and love it as I do. 😊
My favorite time of the homeschool year- planning and watching your planning vlogs- so helpful! Thanks for sharing with us.
I'm glad it is helpful! Please let me know if I can help you in any way as you plan your own homeschool year 😊

Maybe I will try it. I have the materials, I think I am just too indecisive 🤣
