Hi Dr. Liu! I'm in the Netherlands and skin boosters have made their way over here as well. I've heard of polynucleotide from salmon, and RRS HA Eyes - a combo of vitamins/hylauronic acid and peptides. Do you feel like they actually work on undereye dark circles due to pigmentation/thin skin/blood vessels? My consults I've been to say my undereyes are dark for those reasons. But for some reason I'm not convinced yet - maybe bc I'm not super familiar with the product having grown up in the US.
So cool skinbooster may help to build collagen and indirectly improve appearance of dark circles but it’s not my first go to cosmetic treatment for that
I think that it is sad that young women in Asia feel the need to do these procedures in the first place. What has society become where they feel the need to live up to some absurd standard. I am 64 years old and take care of my skin and am lucky enough, genetically to look younger than my years, but even so would never consider any of these procedures at any age. What happened to ageing gracefully?
