I'm using the Bliss Skin Smoothing Body Butter Texture Takedown. It's wonderful. Extremely moisturizing and nourishing while also exfoliating.
I love the ordinary but I think a little too much. I've been more or less using too many of their ingredients at the same time with Tretoin and wondered why my skin barrier was always damaged. You've finally opened my eyes.

I use a copper peptide serum each evening after washing my face. Then an hour later I apply 0.05% tretinoin five nights a week. Wednesday night and Sunday night I skip tret and just moisturize.

I understand that prices have increased, but have you seen other brands prices?? Skin care and makeup in general is just expensive now. Regardless, these are excellent products and value for money. I particularly enjoy the lactic acid 5% zero for my ultrasensitive postpartum skin, and the natural moisturizing factors moisturizer.
I love their squalene cleanser and their niacinamide with zinc serum for calming stressed skin.
i love brands focused on actives (in moderation) - i really like The Ordinary, Naturium, and Cos De BAHA (korean brand that’s very affordable)
Love TO lactic acid 10% and the 7% glycolic acid, the former for my face, the latter for my chest, upper back, elbows and knees. The NMF moisturizer is lovely.
I really love their beta glucan nmf moisturizer. It’s perfect for my oily skin.

Which unfortunately now means The Ordinary is not cruelty free anymore. So I'm moving on from it.

I tried the pink barrier support serum, but didn't repurchase it because it made my skin look pink. There are more elegant options out there, especially from K Beauty.
It's soooo healthy and good for your skin! Just use a little bit overnight, under your moisturizer. You can try using less to avoid the pink stain if it bothers you
@@dime.overmatter That's how I used it up, only overnight. Redness is already my biggest issue, so it would work better for me if it was green than pink :)
I honestly have a routine jam-packed with actives, I'm not really missing it... From Tretinoin, peptides and niacinamide to azelaic acid, ceramides and cica...
But the formulation is great! Other than the pink color for me :)

my favourite product by far from the ordinary is their aminoacids+B5 serum. I wish they would sell it in a big toner bottle like the glycolic acid one! I have atopic skin that is dry and very dehydration prone and this product is like a soothing glass of water for my skin. I'm always scared that they will discontinue it because I haven't been able to find something that works as well as this (which shouldn't be hard to do because the ingredients aren't unique at all? but somehow nothing works like it for me). I really notice the dryness and irritation creeping up when I don't use it, even if I'm using other hydrating and soothing products. my routine involves a lot of hydrating layers (I've noticed it works better for me to do several layers of light hydrating products than to use one layer of a thicker one. I go through toners very quickly, but thankfully kbeauty has me covered with high quality affordable ones), but if I don't have this serum in it, I notice my skin starts taking a turn for the worse within a couple weeks. I wish it was more popular so I knew the brand wasn't going to discontinue it (I suspect they will because they created the pink soothing serum. before that, the aminoacids+B5 one was the soothing serum in their lineup and idk if they'll want to keep both), but also not so viral that it's constantly sold out lol
can you do the The Ordinary, but for hair care?

My dermatologist prescribed Clindamycin Phosphate + Benzoyl Peroxide 1.2%-5% Gel to apply on my face at night and Hydroquinone 4% Cream to apply at bedtime. I heard in your video that these shouldn’t be mixed together, and now I'm confused. Is it safe to use them as prescribed?
Could you also suggest some products I could use alongside these medications? Currently, I only use sunscreen in the morning. Should I add a Vitamin C serum, moisturizer, or anything else to my routine?
Have you checked out the ordinary's retinal serum or the sacchromyces toner? Speaking of vit c, cosmetic chemist/formulator, kindofstephen, has a vit c called poems from the lab future focus vit c serum (he's one of the folks who has questioned the ascorbic acid/copper peptide issue).

Numbuzin no5 serum, the ordinary retinal and sunscreen have worked for my dark spots and the hyperpigmentation on my lips
