We don't know what they will do. There's more women with bisexual men than they care to admit. There is nothing wrong with it, except in the black community a man cannot be acceptable bisexual. There is a bigger story here that they are not telling. I think the wife sees herself as saving him. I think he was sexually abused as a kid. I think he is an addict and an alcoholic. He's compulsive. Meth is a very nasty drug. He needs to get high to be with men. He chooses male prostitutes over a boyfriend or wife because he is emotionally disconnected. It is a very common story at NA & AA meetings.

As a person who has been married to my best friend of almost 30 years, the part of the interview that struct me most was Mrs. Gillum's words:
"while I am private okay with this, I don’t know if I have the strength to continuously defend my relationship or my marriage to any one who doesn’t understand."
That right there kills a lot of relationships and contributes to a lot of mental health issues. Hear me: WHAT YOU DO IN YOUR BEDROOM WITH YOUR SPOUSE OR WHOEVER IS NOBODY'S BUSINESS BUT YOUR AND IT DOES NOT NEED JUSTIFYING TO ANYONE. Put up a forcefield around your marriage and let no one cross it. My wife and I came to that conclusion in the first decade of our marriage. What we choose to do and who we choose to do it with is our damn business. When you eliminate the need to explain your decisions to other human beings, you will experience the bliss of true freedom.
My heart goes out the them. I pray they get through this healthy and whole. It's difficult enough to experience a crisis within a marriage privately. But, when the entire world is watching? My God!

I'm so sad for her because she loves him more than she loves herself and her children. If she gets HIV it is because she made the choice to continue risking her body with a man who is reckless and unfaithful. I come first.
