I can't say Andrew betrayed his wife because we still don't know what the dynamics of their marriage is based upon. Andrew's wife married him knowing he was bisexual. In recent events, we have heard Jerry Falwell Jr allegedly, he and his wife, are swingers. Gillum and his wife are married knowing Andrew is bisexual . So though Gillum and Falwell have unconventional marriages, we can't assume neither man betrayed their spouse until the definition of their marriages are explained. Mrs. Gillum said Andrew was reckless and even defined Andrew as a victim. However Mrs. Gillum never said she felt betrayed by her husband. I think we believe Andrew's behavior was betrayal based upon what we define marriage to be. I’m turning 50 this month. I used to hear the Elders at church say we’re living in the last days. The sanctity of traditional marriage is out the window. Why get married before God, family and friends professing to be faithful and promise yourself to that person (only to later come out as bi)? A source that knew them from college alleges that he is gay and she knew about it and that she is lesbian . Why get married? I feel that when people choose to have an open marriage you’re basically saying you’re not what I truly want. In recent events, we have heard Jerry Falwell Jr allegedly, he and his wife, are swingers. Gillum and his wife are married knowing Andrew is bisexual . So though Gillum and Falwell have unconventional marriages, we can't assume neither man betrayed their spouse until the definition of their marriages are explained. Mrs. Gillum said Andrew was reckless and even defined Andrew as a victim. However Mrs. Gillum never said she felt betrayed by her husband. I think we believe Andrew's behavior was betrayal based upon what we define marriage to be. It is obvious, the Gillum's don't subscribe to the same definition because if they did, they wouldn't be married in the first place.

I’m turning 50 this month. I used to hear the Elders at church say we’re living in the last days. The sanctity of traditional marriage is out the window. Why get married before God, family and friends professing to be faithful and promise yourself to that person (only to later come out as bi)? Everyone is saying she is so naive. She is not. You can tell she's extremely angry with him, her words don't match her nonverbal expression. She's known the truth for a while and she's angry he let it go this far and brought shame to his family. Shes doing her best to support him, but by doing so shes destroying herself. I doubt they even sleep in the same bed anymore, this is tragic.

What's really interesting is reading the comments from blogs and all over social media. Is that a lot of folks seem to be closed minded. All they see is someone who to them appears like he's in denial. No one's focused on the fact that he actually might need help. He might have a drug problem and a drinking problem. No, one could accept his bisexuality. The fact that he's lying bare on the floor and they leaked his photos it feels like a set up. No, one doesn't matter if your a female or male should be photographed like that for the world to see. It doesn't matter if your gay, bisexual, straight, pansexual yes he cheated but what is the root cause, will they work it out. It's very interesting how the media and social media reacts

I don't think so. There's a reason why Andrew needed a "beard," he wanted to be in politics and you have to appear "perfect," in society's eyes. What would motive her to live a facade as a lesbian? Without Andrew, she could live as freely as she wanted to-out of the public eye, without media pressure...I think she was looking for her "ideal" black man, and Andrew had no kids prior to meeting her, is handsome, educated, and pretty much a "catch," which is why she doesn't want to walk away now. She needs to realize that Andrew hid himself from her, and she deserves better. If she already knew about it, then she needs to leave because he does not respect his family and was willing to jepordize that for some escorts. He also has a substance abuse problem- At what point does she step away for HERSELF and evaluate whether or not this is the type of relationship SHE wanted for her and her kids.
