The moment Jinx lights the flare and Milo and Clagger are behind her is not just them haunting her but also her carrying their deaths ( their bodies) on her shoulders. Its a weight on her always and we get a glimpse into that feeling she feels she physically carries with her daily.
The writing is so good. Silco's dialogue in particular makes me shiver almost every time he opens his mouth "Candidly I thought you were the prize of your second-hand family", it's just a normal sentence but it still manages to make me feel things xD It just flows so well...
This series is not only perfect, but its also a great example of the steps someone walks, as their mind body and soul… slowly slips and slides into becoming a sociopathic psychotic broken person. Jinx is one of the best fleshed out characters ever created in my humble opinion. Great reaction video 😃😃😃
I'm seriously obsessed with this series. So obsessed that when I misread your "not only perfect" as "not perfect" I actually took offense. Over someone claiming that a piece of media is not literally perfect while praising it. What is wrong with me?

It's amazing after two years and four re-watches, I still get the most insane chills at that moment. Riot's brilliance of creating music specifically to the scenes, Guns for Hire is so perfectly crafted, it just takes this into the stratosphere!
I'm always impressed with how much you pick up on. Almost nobody recognizes the doctor in Viktor's flashbacks on their first watch, including me! And yeah the scene where they reunite is one of the best in the whole season, such a roller coaster. So many shows rely on making audiences wait for the thing they want in order to preserve tension but Riot/Fortiche know that sometimes giving us exactly what we want only to rip it away again pushes the stakes way higher. This show is a masterpiece.

The "are you real" quote reflects the scene in episode 4 where she found a Vi look-alike. In that scene she said "Vi?" thinking it was actually Vi. This time, she had to make sure. Also, I think Jinx realized it wasn't Vi in episode 4 when she shot her - we know that Jinx knew it wasn't Vi when she mentioned it to Silco.
The way Jayce points out the state of the city and Heimrdinger's lack of action to fix it, which Heimrdinger brushes off by assuming it's all about Hextech, just shows that Heimrdinger really doesn't understand at all or is obvlivious to how bad things really are.
I really like that scene, because both Jayce and Heimer are right and wrong. Jayce has a good point, Heimer is passive and let the situation deteriorate, he offers no more than empty words and has no plan to fix it. But Heimer was right that Hextech needed more time and kicking him out was not the solution. The scene is perfect for its grey areas, where the show excels
Heimerdinger was a bad leader. Because he lives so long he never acted with any sense of urgency and he never bothered to actually leave his mansion to see what life was like for the people in the Undercity. He needed to be removed from his position and be put in an advisor only spot.
If I understand the lore correctly, there is a Void rift underneath Zaun. Void seeping in is the source of the flowers; it’s what’s mutating the sea monsters outside Silco’s old lair. I think Singed knows the significance of this, that there is currently no known way to close the rift, and that the Void will consume everything…except that which is also part-Void. Rio is the first living creature with some key mutation that can handle ingesting Void flowers. I believe his goal with Shimmer is a method to “change our nature” in a such a way that the Void will be unable to consume it. “The mutation must survive.” Shimmer requires a living Void-corrupted organ. Silco’s damaged eye is a Void-corrupted organ, but it only produces tiny amounts, requiring regular lancing to manage the constant swelling of Shimmer buildup.
Not only is that baby Viktor but the little girl who swimming and looked down at Victor at 0:20 was baby Sky. As in the Sky that eventually becomes Viktors assistant and as we see in Ep5 is pretty clearly infatuated with him.
17:32 - I'm 100% with you Haylo. "Guns for Hire" is such an incredible song and the power it added to that scene was incredible. I get goosebumps every time I see it. A true masterpiece of a scene. And how about that Firelight scene? Gah, one of the best episodes of all-time, imo.
I just realized that Rio looks like an axelotl and these animals are known for staying in their larvae stadium until they die. It makes so much sense that Shimmer would prevent organic matter from rejecting Hextech.
It’s seriously amazing how off the wall Kiss’s reactions are and how she still manages to catch all the details 😮 Also, I‘d watch her reacting to anything, even if it’s paint drying.
Your sister is correct that Mel's mixing egg tempera @3:16. Egg yolks were used as a binder to make paints for a _long_ time, until the use oil paints became widespread circa the 1500's. And yes, it absolutely reeks (I had to use it back in college for couple of art projects), so they'd typically add in some kind of perfuming agent to mask the odor. :P
Fun Fact - Egg yolks are fast-drying and a strong binder, which makes them perfect for making paint! In fact, egg tempera is such a long-lasting paint medium that there are still well-preserved paintings from the first century AD.
In the end, despite his intentions, Heimerdinger failed. He became complacent and let the undercity fall to the wayside and cried wolf too often at the mere mention of magic that when his words of caution might actually have been needed, they weren't heeded. He became an impediment to any change when reform was sorely needed.
Complacent - and complicit. He's more to blame for the income inequality than any individual person due to his power and lifespan. The entire series he's all talk, no action. People say he's a brilliant inventor, he says he cares about the undercity or Viktor, but all he gives anyone is empty words. At least up to Episode 6. Jayce is right to lay the blame on him.
Honestly super impressed at just how many of the tiny details, callbacks, etc. your sister picked up on right away. Arcane is such a densely-packed show and it feels like most people (especially reactors, lol) miss almost all of those important details the first time around.
One thing i took me long to notice is that the scene with kid victor, there's that girl watching him, and we can hear some kid calling her over, they call her by the name Sky. She admired Victor since she was a kid too.
"We can be loners together" always reminds me of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer when Rudolph and Hermey are talking about being "independent together". I don't think it's really a creepy thing to say
The most interesting thing about your reactions to this show is that you guys are real sisters, giving it the best perspective to empathize their feelings, situations as well as the whole story.

People probably said yhis before but Arcane's production was a mess, and in the BTS they truly show how scared and unsure of it they were. if you listen closely, you can already hear the song "guns for hire" play in the background when Silco and Vi have their confrontation, building up to that explosive scene.
Whether Silco knew it or not, Powder changed him the second she entered his life. She dismantled his whole do anything to achieve Power mindset, for it is easy to say when you had no one to care for, Now Comes Vi,back for her sister. Vi is a threat to Silco not because she wants to destroy his empire,but because she is the only one who can take his daughter away from him, leaving him once again feeling abandoned, He can't handle being alone especially after loving Jinx as a daughter, Vi taking his daughter away from him is the real threat to him. Powder melted Silco's heart, and he cant let go.
that's more likely the clouds from the explosions she caused that killed mylo and claggor. She tattooed them on herself as a constant reminder. *****SPOILER***** In the game she actually also has pink bullets tattooed on her. Those are likely the bullets that she killed Silco with. If jinx is in season 2, we will probably see those new tattoos then. Two kinds of tattoos for two situations that she killed her family with, destroyed her life and lost everything.
While Jinx's line "Are you real?" certainly plays into her hallucinations and everything, I think another side to it as well. A point made by fellow reaction channel Funnylilgalreacts which I'll paraphrase here is that, someone who has lost a loved one often fantasises about getting them back one day. In those times when their absence hurts so bad, a form of escape is to imagine them coming back to you, a reunion to heal the pain. So now in my mind, when Jinx asks that question, its because of all the times she's pictured her sister coming back from the dead. Finally seeing her, being embraced and called by her old name, it must have felt like a dream come to life. After hearing that perspective, this scene breaks my heart every time I watch it. What an incredible show. Also fantastic videos on this channel as well. Excited to watch the final act
Heimerdinger did not HAVE to go, but his centuries (literally 200 years as of episode 4) of being the co-founder and leader of the city council, and his unique brand of ignoring all of the suffering and corruption of both parts of the city (Piltover and Undercity/Zaun if you want to use what Silco wanted to call it it ep 3), he was not really a fit with the "Progress always" mantra that Piltover seems to carry around. He only wanted people to take the time to make sure their inventions didn't hurt more than they helped (like that gauntlet that crushes boulders probably would be used to crush skulls, and the laser that can cut through metal could cut through people if they fell into the wrong hands, so what is to say this Hex Core is no different than their other short-sighted inventions?). But by halting progress while simultaneously refusing to be of any help at all, he showed he was not the leader that Piltover needed. You can see how he views the city in the Opera scene (eyes closed, humming to himself while everyone else is doing work/corruption is abound depending on how you view it). Maybe once he opens his eyes and looks at everything around him, he will be able to learn and grow as a person.
Excellent reaction, girls. This series just keeps going. Keeping great track of things, Haylo. I can tell you're really invested in the show. The song when Jinx lights the flare is so fitting for the moment and montage and having Claggor and Mylo haunting her was so emotional. Into the final arc!
you see many crows following her throughout the show. its foreboding that someone is watching. either fiddlesticks.... or swain. if its fiddlesticks thats just scary, but its more likely going to be swain due to him being the noxian general and how they tie noxus in in act 3

We know very well that Mageseekers were created from followers of Kayla and rebels like Leilani are followers of Morgana. Generations of Demacia lived in a reshaped history due to fanatics who were more on Kayla's side and to greater extremes.
Shimmer has extremly healing power but you must be carefull have many of that you are drinkin it, but all of that is still about physical body everyone you know becouse we all are different.
Seeing how Victor has gone pretty much his entire life with his issues gives you a much better appreciation of why he is so desperate to get haxtech up and running and his deteriorating current health explains why he is so desperate to figure it out quickly. Victor is like everyone's little brother whom needs to be protected.
Oddly enough, I for some reason always miss the scene where she was given the flare (or at least seeing the flare itself) so I never recognized it. I only remember what Vi said when it happened.
Vander was the best father figure for Vi (Violet). & Silco was the best sire for Jinx (Powder). ;) Vi and Jinx are like Vander and Silko Some parallel. You know what I mean, guys blink and wink. ;) Silco loved Jinx and tried to protect her. He knew about her mental illness and what triggers it. When Jinx remembers her family she has ptsd. And he realy cares for her. When Jinx kills the firelights and ruin his work Silco blames and yells Shevika but with Jinx he tells her calmly that she was wrong. When Jinx kills the enforcers Silco is angry but he wasnt going to hurt her. And Jinx didnt afraid him. He wanted to impess him. As with crystal when Jinx tried to creat the weapon she had ptsd of her dead family. After the scene in the river when Silco told her to get over the past it worked. Jinx continued to make the gun without any problems. All was fine unltil Vi came. When Jinx saw Vi she remembered what she did. Vi didnt know about her traumaand or how to handle it. Vi wants the best for her and keep her safe but she hurts her. I dont blame Vi. She thinks Silco is a monster and he manipulates her in his favor and she has every right to believes. Vi only know that Silco kidnapped Vander and caused his death. And that we can see it clear in the final scene. Silco gave up everything he wanted to protect Jinx. And he didnt get mad when she kidnapped him because he understand how she feels. Vi tries to make Jinx remember but she only make things worse. Silco sees jinx suffering and tries to help her by shooting Vi witch leading to his death. I dont say Silco was right and Vi was wrong the one. And thats the good with Arcane. There are not black and white. Silco tried to kill 4 children to avenge Vander and done many evil things. Also he feared that Jinx would abadon him and thats why he told her some lies. But in the end Silco wasn't the clice villain. He was a complex character with issues and weakness. And Vi wasn't evil or totally wrong. Ηer intentions were good but in the end she would make things worse because she doesn't know the real Jinx.

Agreed - I've cut "crazy" and "insane" entirely from my vocabulary in all instances. "Wild" or "ridiculous" are good replacements that don't stigmatize mental health and are less boring. It's amazing how often you hear "crazy" once you train yourself to stop using it. It's one of the most overused words in the English language.

At the begnning of the episode there is a thing that happens that most people doesn't seem to notice. There is young Victor playing by the water and this young girl looking at him until your hear in the background someone calling her «Sky» and then she leaves. Sky is also the name of the assistant that is enamored of adult Victor. So it's suggested that the young girl in the flashback and the assistant are one and the same.

They have WILD regeneration capabilities, including regrowing limbs, organs, parts of their nervous system and even parts of their brain and eyes. They can also accept brain and eye transplants and easily incorporate the new tissue. They're fascinating creatures and a very cool reference by the writer's of arcane.
Jinx has ghosts. And she shows the one truth about ghosts that people seem to forget. They don't haunt graveyards, or old houses, or paintings, or mirrors.. they haunt the one place where the intangible can do the most damage.. *They haunt minds.*
Excellently phrased. Jinx very consciously and deliberately has harnessed her ghosts to make herself stronger. She is not actually crazy nor irrationally impulsive; but she knows this is how she is perceived by others, so she uses it to her advantage. In terms of raw intelligence, her only peer in Zaun is probably Singed. I would guess that most of the proliferation of shimmer-powered devices we see all throughout Zaun come directly from her workshop. What makes her so terrifying is how blindingly fast her mind works. Using her ghosts the way she does is not without significant cost, of course. As Singed tells Viktor: “Loneliness is often the byproduct of a gifted mind.”

Heimerdinger was right. He was always right except for hextech being possible. Jayce and Viktors ambition blinded them to the threat their technology poses. Heimerdinger has the gift of time. He knows that things take longer but that its necessary.
It was correct to remove Haimedinger fron office. The council as a whole but him especially are responsible for the current socioeconomic situation of Undercity and Piltover, poverty, violence and entreched us vs them mentality. He might meant well but repeating empty platituded does not make efficient leadership and management.
The scene with Powder holding the torch is so good! The music, the view of her old friends on her back, the hope! I don’t know if it would have made a difference but I wish she and Vi had a chance to be alone for a little while.
Heimerdinder in this Universe as younger have seen Rune Wars but this combination of Arcane Crystals from Shurimans deserts and Shimmer from voidlike plants its something even worts. Thanks Shurimans half god=Ascended warrior Elemental mage Nezukk. We have our good guy Malphite now under Zaun where he slowly destroying void rift and all that horror creatures. 😬🤨😖😥😮
Its funny, when you pay attention to what Mel says or does, you can tell she doesnt really give two shits about Viktor. She doesnt realize that Jayce is close to the partner hes been working with for like 7 years, and she never really ever speaks to or addresses Viktor either. Hell I think she avoids looking at him as much as she can to. As for Heimer getting the boot, while he might care, hes also just as responsible for how things have turned out as anyone else on the council. Hes completely and wilfully removed from the realities of not only most of the people top side, but also anyone in the Undercity. He doesnt see how awful so many people under his care had to live, only focusing on advancements that really would have helped out those in his echelons of society, and only at a pace that he and he alone saw fit. While safety isnt a bad thing, saying "hold on, we cant help anyone now because it might be misused. Lets just wait another 30-70 years. Sure you might be dead, but afety first!" isnt exactly a winning strategy.
Still can't believe it has been like years and we are still on that narrative of Mel, she never says she doesn't know they are close she specifically says she didn't know they were *THAT* close, meaning she already knows they have a workplace relationship as per normal but doesn't know their bond extends pass work and almost familial. Mind you Viktor also doesn't address Mel when they are in scenes together so I am confused to why the onus is always on her, hell Mel asks about Viktor more times than he has ever of her, like in this episode and the next so it baffles me that ppl still have this delusion that Mel must hate Viktor, if she did she would not bother to inquire about him at all.

Jayce goes after Heimerdinger because he is completely out of touch. The cities have massive problems that he does nothing about. He has been finding out about all of the crime going on and Heimerdinger has been doing nothing about it. Heimerdinger also completely ignores the under city and all of the corruption on the council. He is extremely ineffective as the leader of Piltover. Add to that that he brow beats people with his age, preaching from on high while never actually sharing information. Viktor is literally dying and rather than trying to help him he is actively trying to stop him from helping himself. While there is some truth in what he says, he doesn't help his cause at any time.

Vastayashai'rei(Shapeshifting Spirit race) + Humans = Vastaya For you and all you know. Necrit have something with it so he just doing fun of it. Its not really implied but baby viktor meet baby sky. So she's always been looking at victor since they were kids.
Your sister is correct that Mel's mixing egg tempera @3:16. Egg yolks were used as a binder to make paints for a _long_ time, until the use oil paints became widespread circa the 1500's.
And yes, it absolutely reeks (I had to use it back in college for couple of art projects), so they'd typically add in some kind of perfuming agent to mask the odor. :P

In the end, despite his intentions, Heimerdinger failed. He became complacent and let the undercity fall to the wayside and cried wolf too often at the mere mention of magic that when his words of caution might actually have been needed, they weren't heeded. He became an impediment to any change when reform was sorely needed.
Complacent - and complicit. He's more to blame for the income inequality than any individual person due to his power and lifespan. The entire series he's all talk, no action. People say he's a brilliant inventor, he says he cares about the undercity or Viktor, but all he gives anyone is empty words. At least up to Episode 6. Jayce is right to lay the blame on him.

Honestly super impressed at just how many of the tiny details, callbacks, etc. your sister picked up on right away. Arcane is such a densely-packed show and it feels like most people (especially reactors, lol) miss almost all of those important details the first time around.
One thing i took me long to notice is that the scene with kid victor, there's that girl watching him, and we can hear some kid calling her over, they call her by the name Sky. She admired Victor since she was a kid too.
"We can be loners together" always reminds me of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer when Rudolph and Hermey are talking about being "independent together". I don't think it's really a creepy thing to say

People probably said yhis before but Arcane's production was a mess, and in the BTS they truly show how scared and unsure of it they were. Seeing such a beautiful piece of art come from their dedication and resilience...its just inspiring.
if you listen closely, you can already hear the song "guns for hire" play in the background when Silco and Vi have their confrontation, building up to that explosive scene.

Whether Silco knew it or not, Powder changed him the second she entered his life. She dismantled his whole do anything to achieve Power mindset, for it is easy to say when you had no one to care for, Now Comes Vi,back for her sister. Vi is a threat to Silco not because she wants to destroy his empire,but because she is the only one who can take his daughter away from him, leaving him once again feeling abandoned, He can't handle being alone especially after loving Jinx as a daughter, Vi taking his daughter away from him is the real threat to him. Powder melted Silco's heart, and he cant let go.
Mel was making tempera paint, fairly common in the middle ages.

that's more likely the clouds from the explosions she caused that killed mylo and claggor. She tattooed them on herself as a constant reminder.

In the game she actually also has pink bullets tattooed on her. Those are likely the bullets that she killed Silco with. If jinx is in season 2, we will probably see those new tattoos then.
Two kinds of tattoos for two situations that she killed her family with, destroyed her life and lost everything.
While Jinx's line "Are you real?" certainly plays into her hallucinations and everything, I think another side to it as well. A point made by fellow reaction channel Funnylilgalreacts which I'll paraphrase here is that, someone who has lost a loved one often fantasises about getting them back one day. In those times when their absence hurts so bad, a form of escape is to imagine them coming back to you, a reunion to heal the pain.
So now in my mind, when Jinx asks that question, its because of all the times she's pictured her sister coming back from the dead. Finally seeing her, being embraced and called by her old name, it must have felt like a dream come to life.
After hearing that perspective, this scene breaks my heart every time I watch it. What an incredible show.

Heimerdinger did not HAVE to go, but his centuries (literally 200 years as of episode 4) of being the co-founder and leader of the city council, and his unique brand of ignoring all of the suffering and corruption of both parts of the city (Piltover and Undercity/Zaun if you want to use what Silco wanted to call it it ep 3), he was not really a fit with the "Progress always" mantra that Piltover seems to carry around. He only wanted people to take the time to make sure their inventions didn't hurt more than they helped (like that gauntlet that crushes boulders probably would be used to crush skulls, and the laser that can cut through metal could cut through people if they fell into the wrong hands, so what is to say this Hex Core is no different than their other short-sighted inventions?). But by halting progress while simultaneously refusing to be of any help at all, he showed he was not the leader that Piltover needed. You can see how he views the city in the Opera scene (eyes closed, humming to himself while everyone else is doing work/corruption is abound depending on how you view it). Maybe once he opens his eyes and looks at everything around him, he will be able to learn and grow as a person.
3:30 back in medieval times they did actually use egg yolks for paint, learned that from age of empires 4, you'd think it'd get stinky 🤔

Just a correction: Heimerdinger's species live to an average of 600 or so years.
Seeing how Victor has gone pretty much his entire life with his issues gives you a much better appreciation of why he is so desperate to get haxtech up and running and his deteriorating current health explains why he is so desperate to figure it out quickly. Victor is like everyone's little brother whom needs to be protected.
Oddly enough, I for some reason always miss the scene where she was given the flare (or at least seeing the flare itself) so I never recognized it. I only remember what Vi said when it happened.

Silco loved Jinx and tried to protect her. He knew about her mental illness and what triggers it. When Jinx remembers her family she has ptsd. And he realy cares for her. When Jinx kills the firelights and ruin his work Silco blames and yells Shevika but with Jinx he tells her calmly that she was wrong.
When Jinx kills the enforcers Silco is angry but he wasnt going to hurt her. And Jinx didnt afraid him. He wanted to impess him.
As with crystal when Jinx tried to creat the weapon she had ptsd of her dead family. After the scene in the river when Silco told her to get over the past it worked. Jinx continued to make the gun without any problems.
All was fine unltil Vi came. When Jinx saw Vi she remembered what she did. Vi didnt know about her traumaand or how to handle it. Vi wants the best for her and keep her safe but she hurts her.
I dont blame Vi. She thinks Silco is a monster and he manipulates her in his favor and she has every right to believes. Vi only know that Silco kidnapped Vander and caused his death.
And that we can see it clear in the final scene. Silco gave up everything he wanted to protect Jinx. And he didnt get mad when she kidnapped him because he understand how she feels. Vi tries to make Jinx remember but she only make things worse. Silco sees jinx suffering and tries to help her by shooting Vi witch leading to his death.
I dont say Silco was right and Vi was wrong the one. And thats the good with Arcane. There are not black and white. Silco tried to kill 4 children to avenge Vander and done many evil things. Also he feared that Jinx would abadon him and thats why he told her some lies. But in the end Silco wasn't the clice villain. He was a complex character with issues and weakness. And Vi wasn't evil or totally wrong. Ηer intentions were good but in the end she would make things worse because she doesn't know the real Jinx.
Hey loved the reaction. Just one thing, I would avoid using words like 'crazy' and 'insane' purely as emphasis when discussing mental health issues :) 'schizophrenia is insane' comes off differently than you are surely intending.
Agreed - I've cut "crazy" and "insane" entirely from my vocabulary in all instances. "Wild" or "ridiculous" are good replacements that don't stigmatize mental health and are less boring. It's amazing how often you hear "crazy" once you train yourself to stop using it. It's one of the most overused words in the English language.

At the begnning of the episode there is a thing that happens that most people doesn't seem to notice. There is young Victor playing by the water and this young girl looking at him until your hear in the background someone calling her «Sky» and then she leaves. Sky is also the name of the assistant that is enamored of adult Victor. So it's suggested that the young girl in the flashback and the assistant are one and the same.
Shimmer is created by the bright purple plants that Viktor is often seen gathering and bringing back to the scientist Singed.
That and whatever mutation the giant iguana that eats them has.
@davidfrederick3952 Rio is based on an axolotl, a specific type of Mexican salamander. They have WILD regeneration capabilities, including regrowing limbs, organs, parts of their nervous system and even parts of their brain and eyes. They can also accept brain and eye transplants and easily incorporate the new tissue. They're fascinating creatures and a very cool reference by the writer's of arcane.

Jinx very consciously and deliberately has harnessed her ghosts to make herself stronger.
She is not actually crazy nor irrationally impulsive; but she knows this is how she is perceived by others, so she uses it to her advantage.
In terms of raw intelligence, her only peer in Zaun is probably Singed. I would guess that most of the proliferation of shimmer-powered devices we see all throughout Zaun come directly from her workshop.
What makes her so terrifying is how blindingly fast her mind works.
Using her ghosts the way she does is not without significant cost, of course.

Heimerdinger was right. He was always right except for hextech being possible. Jayce and Viktors ambition blinded them to the threat their technology poses. Heimerdinger has the gift of time. He knows that things take longer but that its necessary.
It was correct to remove Haimedinger fron office. The council as a whole but him especially are responsible for the current socioeconomic situation of Undercity and Piltover, poverty, violence and entreched us vs them mentality. He might meant well but repeating empty platituded does not make efficient leadership and management.
Heimer was a shitty ruler, many people seem to forget it just because of his fluffiness.

Its funny, when you pay attention to what Mel says or does, you can tell she doesnt really give two shits about Viktor. She doesnt realize that Jayce is close to the partner hes been working with for like 7 years, and she never really ever speaks to or addresses Viktor either. Hell I think she avoids looking at him as much as she can to.
As for Heimer getting the boot, while he might care, hes also just as responsible for how things have turned out as anyone else on the council. Hes completely and wilfully removed from the realities of not only most of the people top side, but also anyone in the Undercity. He doesnt see how awful so many people under his care had to live, only focusing on advancements that really would have helped out those in his echelons of society, and only at a pace that he and he alone saw fit. While safety isnt a bad thing, saying "hold on, we cant help anyone now because it might be misused. Lets just wait another 30-70 years. Sure you might be dead, but afety first!" isnt exactly a winning strategy.
Still can't believe it has been like years and we are still on that narrative of Mel, she never says she doesn't know they are close she specifically says she didn't know they were *THAT* close, meaning she already knows they have a workplace relationship as per normal but doesn't know their bond extends pass work and almost familial.
Mind you Viktor also doesn't address Mel when they are in scenes together so I am confused to why the onus is always on her, hell Mel asks about Viktor more times than he has ever of her, like in this episode and the next so it baffles me that ppl still have this delusion that Mel must hate Viktor, if she did she would not bother to inquire about him at all.

Jayce goes after Heimerdinger because he is completely out of touch. The cities have massive problems that he does nothing about. He has been finding out about all of the crime going on and Heimerdinger has been doing nothing about it. Heimerdinger also completely ignores the under city and all of the corruption on the council. He is extremely ineffective as the leader of Piltover. Add to that that he brow beats people with his age, preaching from on high while never actually sharing information. Viktor is literally dying and rather than trying to help him he is actively trying to stop him from helping himself. While there is some truth in what he says, he doesn't help his cause at any time.
