I started taking MSM about a year ago to help with arthritis pain. While I didn’t notice an improvement in pain, I did notice a reduction in hair shedding. More importantly, I noticed a reduction in allergy symptoms. I do take it first thing in the morning as I did notice a disruption in my sleep taking it later in the day.
MSM helped my hair, but not my Osteoarthritis at all. Believe it or not , ACV w/ a little lemon and honey has been more of a pain reliever. Also tumeric w/ blk pepper and honey. Go figure, huh?
Oh no someone found my secret 😭 I’ve been taking msm with biotin drops, my hair grew like crazy. And not just hair on your scalp lol. I quit taking it for a while, bleached my hair, it got destroyed so I had to cut it, I stopped taking my msm and biotin drops, and couldn’t figure out why my hair wasn’t growing as fast. So I took my msm and didn’t notice a huge difference, and forgot that I took biotin drops with it, the reason why I did these two together is because I heard msm helps with absorption of vitamins! So it’s amazing to take with whatever supplements you are taking for sure. At first I took msm for my arthritis, it helps immensely as well.
@@AlliterativeAtheistIt’s ok people are now talking about msm but collagen has it’s great benefit too and I was using it for my injury to my leg but notice my hair was growing crazy I thought to myself people had to know about this and been keeping it a secret lol
I don’t know about clinical studies , but I’ve been taking the “NOW” brand of MSM for over a year, and I’ve seen significant improvement to my thinning sparse hair. The problem is if you stop taking this supplement… the effects seem to reverse. As far as arthritis - I have seen no significant improvement . I have OA, w/ chronic joint pain, and cannot ambulate w/o a cane. But I can attest to its benefits to hair health. I will continue taking MSM.. maybe change to the other brand when I’ve finished this bottle. Thanks.
So I have been taking MSM ( 3 full teaspoons and a 3rd teaspoon of ascorbic acid ) every day for 30 years. I've been taking it just as a general health supplement believing it is good for the immune system etc. It has only occurred to me now that I am 62 that I still have a full head of thick hair and I have absolutely no gray in it at all. I'm not sure if it is the MSM but i do not have any friends or siblings that have not stared to thin and all have gray.
I think it "is" the combination that you are taking because I just started taking the exact same thing as you are on the 5th of this month and my hair is already looking and feeling slightly thicker!
Just started. I mix it in a herbal tea mix and I am curious. I saw in another video that it doesn’t dissolve in oils but water so I thought I’d make a tea
Hi Dr. is 1 scoop in the MSM jar equal to 10 grams that we need to mix with the water & aloe vera juice & last question do we put that solution In the refrigerator & if so for how long before we have to make some more ?
Sulfur 8 definitely makes my hair grow, which is a topical conditioner normally for dandruff but it makes my hair grow fast, so I wanna see if this works cause it’s also sulfur, I took the powder years ago but it made me nauseous so now I’m taking the pills and it doesn’t affect my stomach so I’ll see what happens in a couple months
I saw on TikTok you can apply topically if you don’t want to deal with the stomach aches. Someone mixed a few scoops with their conditioner and left in for 20 mins/ rinsed out and her her was very long.
Sir I am tried simple face wash, minimalist aquaporin cleanser, aroma magic lavender face wash , Then i visited dermatologist, he recommended one face wash ,name,(D wash) but not suit me over dring face, I use (HA)serum for face suggest a cleanser to remove it.. and sunscreen.. Recommend a face wash that does not remove natural oils... Please suggestion for me 🙏😊
@mukesh-tm9fs……..I too have dry skin, I use a homemade cleanser in a bottle I put 1/3 of Dr. Bronner castille soap and the rest Aloe Vera juice. Second one, I bought the Vanicream cleanser. Hope this helps👍🏼
Interesting, when i was in my 20's i took it, because it was said that we are missing it in our vegetables due to the pesticides. Did a eye, nose and mouth rinse for allergies and dry eyes. It helped to reduce my craving i take as well.
I have tried the same brand you showed in the video and made me vomit in less than a minute. I tried it again months later and the same thing happened. Is that a common side effect?
I've used this brand for about 9 years. I take between 25,000 and 30,000 mg a day. I do know when you start out you have to start out in small doses until your body can adjust to it. I'm curious as to how much did you start out with that caused you to vomit? When you haven't been taking MSM it does have an effect on your stomach and bowels at first. Once your body adjust to taking it then your body will absorb and use it for all the great benefits that it provides. I take it in capsule form because the powder is just too bitter.

I thought I would try it in my handmade shampoo bars and body bar soaps.
Does it work?

You need vit C. With it
Try using collagen
So if you stop taking msm, your hair won’t grow as fast or the hair that you’ve grown will start to shed?
Should we do the spray on our hair daily?

Does taking L-Lysine also interfere with MSM? Can I take both L-lysine and MSM with vitamin C?
Yes, i take all three and no conflicts. In fact vit c boosts msm effects for better success.

Can I take MSM orally if I am taking oral Minoxidil 2.5mg?
Yes, it is a micronutrient found in many foods.
I have it but after reading the side effects it scares me !
Can you tell side effects here?
Thanks Dr South africa
You’re most welcome! 😃
Great info....handsome too 😊
Is there a recommended amount for children? Specifically under 10yrs old?
Niños también pueden tomarlo , que alguien me responda por favor
How much quantity I can mix msm powder in 100ml oil??
It doesn't dissolve/mix will with oils. needs to be water based liquids.
Histidine does not contain sulphur.
Not wise for SIBO sufferers ?

Finasteride or dutasteride. Minox can help you retain hair.
These are medicines they’re strong I would not recommend it to healthy individuals who don’t need it medically, specially women.
You will have to take those forever. If finasteride causes miscarriages.
