Every Professional Artist does that, as to not steal the Spotlight. Childers is good at what he does, but, he is far far far from out doing Chris Stapleton. It was nice for Chris to take the stage with Childers. It gives Tyler more recognition. If Tyler stays as true to his heart and music as Chris is, he may reach Chris's level at some point in his life, it just isn't there yet.
Chris has to be respectful of Tyler adding his voice into his song, I’d say the exact opposite happened, and Chris refrained from having too much input because his voice would totally steal the show.

Gives it a lot more meaning than just being a catchy tune.

Thanks for posting this Ethan. Growing up our neighbor was like another grandmother to me. She was always my biggest fan with whatever I did. I can still hear her voice "Oh Michael, that is WONDERFUL" She was such a cultured woman, lived in Manhattan for years and worked at the Museum of Natural History and traveled all over. She taught me how to do the NY Times crossword puzzle, which she did everyday until she passed. I remember telling her about a trip to Europe I was going on and she was so exited for me because of all the wonderous things I would see outside of our small town. I never did get to show her the pictures. I live far away now and wasn't home when she passed. Her family didn't do any type of service for her, which was such a shame. She deserved more after the life she lived. This song always makes me think of her and helps me remember her. She was my Virgie. Thanks for writing this Tyler about the wonderful woman in your life and for all of us men that have been fortunate to have wonderful women in our own lives.

Thirty three years,, two grown sons, 7 grandchildren and a daughter n law later; we're still together! ❤️

A couple of Eastern Kentucky boys doing what they do best. The Appalachian coal fields are producing some of the best singer/songwriter/musicians going. These two plus other artists like Sierra Ferrell and Charles Wesley Godwin are keeping country music fresh and vibrant
