I’m from virgie you should come see it haha not much here but shut down mines you can thank Obama for that but I’m lucky I’m still working. The old middle school shut down and the high school absorbed everything but we still have a lot of ppl living in the virgie camps
My daughter and I drove to Louisa, Ky last year to watch him play the Lawrence County music fest.. it was the best I've ever been to in 53 yrs.. he is awwsome!
Was at this concert for my birthday last year and it was the most incredible concert I’ve ever been to. I still remember that smile during Lady May plain as day. The crowd knew every single word
@@tonycox8746yeah you got it where y’all from I’m resting my head in Virgie right now. But that’s exactly where he gets his lyrics from the all these miners and old men talking on the front porch
We got my daughter and her boyfriend tickets to see him in Austin TX for Christmas. They took a 2 week vacation and made it an adventure driving from Ohio and back. My daughter kept saying how she wished I could've seen him with them. So I surprised her and got tickets for this show for the 2 of us. It was so amazing! We spotted Mr Craig Burletic hanging out in the crowd before the show. We don't just love TC, we love the Foodstamps too!! Can't wait to see another show!
This guy can't write a bad song. This tour is so damn good that I'm scared something is going to take this good man away. It's like the past with people of his talent and how could something so good last very long. God I sure hope not.
Great concert, love this guy😊. Voice is full of emotions- hope to attend one of performances some day. Thanks for sharing with us- GingerS from coastal S. Carolina
And proud of him you should be! A fine songwriter and unique voice. Have been lucky enough to see him in the 🇬🇧 and hope to see him again in Glasgow 2024 🤞
Damit love it seen him in Minnesota I think June 8 or ninth and it was awesome and four days before that I went and seen Hank Williams Junior in Cincinnati. Unbelievable. Thanks for posting
One time I saw Zach Bryan do a cover of Tyler’s and someone commented, “Zach Bryan’s amazing, but he ain’t no Tyler.” At the time I thought the dude was crazy but damn was he right.
Gawd, that must be both wonderful and awful for a performer to have the songs you're singing sung back to you as you sing 'em. Guess he can relax and doesn't have the pressure of emoting all those powerful songs again and again but maybe it's kinda awful too because he can't connect to his own songs during the show because everyone is singing along. I'm not a performer-- so maybe I'm waaaay off?! ANY PERFORMERS out there have thoughts about it?
I can't understand why anyone would pay money to just yell lyrics back at the stage. Save that money and go outside with headphones. It would be cheaper.
You'll be hard pressed to find a performer that can answer this for you because the only performers who would be able to tell you are way too famous. I think they'd love it. Based off the reactions I've seen from Zach Bryan (his crowds always belt the lyrics to each of his songs at all his concerts), performers love it. It really makes you realize just how "big" you are as an artist!
While I’m sure Tyler writes his music for himself first (his genuineness is one of the things that makes him so exceptional), I can’t think of much that would be more powerful than hearing your words connect and be reflected back to you from tens of thousands of people in the moment.
I want to see Tyler. But with the croud pretty much singing over him. I'd rather not pay to hear that. Same with Zack Bryan. Too much in the audience. Barely hear the actual artist.
Listen to that crowd!!! Defening! What a tribute to him as an artist. Very cool!
That much make an artist feel great feel great when an audience sings along with you. 👍
This dude is just unreal. Sounds identical in person as a recording. Once in a lifetime artist!
My god, follow you to Virgie wrecks me every, like every every time.

He and a few others restored my faith in true country music
Same here, friend
Country has been appropriated. This is something different
Refreshing to see real raw talent these days. Tyler Childers n an old soul for sure
Easily one of the best concerts I’ve ever been too! Loved when the boat when through and gave Tyler a toot!
Agreed. I was there
Where's this

The fact that this is only at 117k views is scandalous, god love him. 🙏
I was at this concert and it was the greatest experience of my life. I watch this everyday trying to feel like im back there again. absolutely UNREAL
YES!
I'm 51
My wife and I are driving from Canada to his concert in boulder Colorado this summer. Can’t wait.
sobriety suits him ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
He’s high af in this
if cellar door is the most beautiful phrase in language then i would have to describe this mans music as Appalachian cellar door.
Was at this concert for my birthday last year and it was the most incredible concert I’ve ever been to. I still remember that smile during Lady May plain as day. The crowd knew every single word
I like how he connects with the audience and he seems to be a simple and soft spoken man which i like that better...
'Im a Hickory all the same...' 😢 rare you hear such vulnerable lyrics these days.
I agree. My family is from Eastern Kentucky mountains like Tyler is and I grew up hearing a lot of sayings that you'll never hear anywhere else.
Lyrically and musically beautiful, even more so 'cause he wrote it for his wife ❤

HE IS MY FAVORITE SINGER!!❤❤
I need daily doses of Tyler Childers, his family and friends.. 😃💗🤗
Amazing 👏
What a voice, and im not talking about his singing.
Rock Salt and Nails! Great Utah Phillips Cover - Tyler has one of the best versions I've ever heard.
HOW does this man NOT get more air play on Counrty Music Radio?!? I just don't understand. Him, Sturgill....what a shame
Cause he owns all his own music and not some record company
He's independent.
Who cares. Listen to what pulls your ear.
3 plus months out, I don't think I've ever been to a better show.
Saw him in Charleston, South Carolina. Definitely would go see him again
Haha I remember that boat I was in the pit best concert I have ever seen
He will get there...to me it's like a bluegrass music
You Betcha 👀💥👁️🧟♀️🍁
I just love him.
Amazing concert, the best I've ever seen.
i was there. such a cool crowd. boat was funny!
Thank you.. Cheers..

Better save up! Seeing Tyler ain’t cheap these days. I would love to be able to afford tickets.
@@KDavis1163??? Tickets in Detroit were $55. We sat main floor for $85.

Listen to RUSTED BED by Dennis Callahan
Tony Rice bluegrass album band song from the 70’s.
It's "Rock Salt and Nails", no comma between Rock and Salt. Rock Salt is it's own thing. It's not rocks and salt.
This guy is almost as good as Steven Seagal.
I’d argue he’s better. Step above segal just below norrisw

Can never understand why so many videos refer to the song as “Nose TO the grindstone” 😂
That's what the traditional saying is..."nose to the grindstone". Tyler even introduced it as that on the OurVinyl Sessions recording on RUclips.
@@jenniferstephenson thanks for the heads up!
Tyler get back to who u R! I’ve listened to U for years! Ur one of the Greatest story tellers of this time ❤️🙏 LOVE U BROTHER!!!
Comparing to his old recordings of this song... did his voice get higher?
Tyer has some raunchy music........Love it
Funny that people don’t know rock, salt is not 2 things it’s one haha it’s rock salt
Interesting that he didn't play lady may the same way he used to.
I love how Hollywood and pop country is DEAD
The crowd is much too loud.

I would like to know that too. I would selfishly want silence in the audience if I was at his show 😆
I think they wear ear pieces that drown out most of the crowd noise and amplify their voice in their ear

it's nice that he lied to everyone and said it's good to be in cleveland. we all know that's not true.

I want to see Tyler. But with the croud pretty much singing over him. I'd rather not pay to hear that. Same with Zack Bryan. Too much in the audience. Barely hear the actual artist.
Same. Pay a lot too
