      This is actually a old traditional song that Bobby learned in folk circles and then the dead picked up when Bobby brought it to Jerry but none the less it’s basically a dead tune at this point well near known through them
      But o truly agree Tyler covers this is amazing from a fellow dead to another much love

      I don’t know of anyone as authentic, and genuine, as Tyler Childers aside from Sturgill Simpson, and Jason Isbell. Zack Bryan and Logan Halstead are two up-and-comer’s on the way to making it big in my humble opinion!!! KeepTruckin

    So fun watching Tyler grow and come out of that shell he used to appear to be in when not holding his guitar. The growth is beautiful. My favorite singer/song writer of all time!!!

    Tylers stage presence is just unmatched. You can see hiim and feel him but it's still indescribable to me. All that energy pent up in side of him just waiting to unleash like Armageddon.

      Why does he keep whipping his nose? I hope he is sober but there are many signs that he is not..Johnny Cash and Waylon said they were sober many times, but they were not until many years later

    5:05 this bit where the bassist and the lead guitarist mirror each other is insane. As a deadhead, it immediately reminded me of that same part of Greatest Story from the Bickershaw Festival Europe 72 show (5/7/72). The band clearly has a reverence for the dead, or at least they did their research.

    It's been two days and I can't stop coming back to listen to this? There's drugs in this chorus, I swear. One of those songs you feel in your entire body. The way Tyler is is feeling the energy of every single word, I get it now. I'm dancing the same exact way at my desk now every time I hear it.

    That was a great concert! Tyler Childers and Charley Crockett were outstanding. I couldn't for the life of me understand how Tyler wore a jean jacket at this show? It was unbelievably HOT that day...like 95 degrees when he came on. Half the crowd left after Tyler finished his set.

    Way to absolutely CRUSH it!!
    This had me looking into the origins of the song, I got to see “The Dead” live at the forum and this song aka water “pump song” didn’t make the set list. Such a Great rhythm and stoked to dig into it more thanks to y’all , this tune seems to be on a continuing path of evolving ….”stay like water my friends” haha. From the beginning taking many forms with a changing title and changing lyrics. “Left hand my friends” !! Great addition Tyler and crew !!
