Nice. I’d love to know the specific reason(s) why behind the scenes, though. EDIT: Also, was she fired or did she leave on her own? We don’t know if her work on it was altered/will get altered either, do we?
She didn't get fired she just finished the work she was hired for, SJW have no ounce of creativity writing doesn't take long when you don't think things through.
I’m so worried about this. There’s so many things it could fuck up and I’m so worried the characters will be the biggest thing they mess with. Clancy Brown as Canderous would be awesome especially since he’s a Star Wars veteran, but keep his lines at least similar to what they were please
@@Mephiles343 It’s sad that he passed away just a few years ago. The man’s voice was uniquely fitting as Canderous. He also voiced Dash Rendar in the Shadows of the Empire video game (PC version)!
I'm glad that after 1 million subs, Acting Male didn't ditch his nerdiness. All those lightsaber dances in his recording room are absolutely hilarious.
I hope the worlds are bigger. What they have in the OG was pretty cool for the time, but let’s be honest, Taris is a planet covered by a city, I wanna explore more than 3 streets😅
Yes 1000% to making blaster builds viable. Kotor 2 actually had some neat perks that made having some blasters duders in your party actually pretty useful. I always found it funny that you have the option to do blasters in Kotor 1 when the game is so obviously balanced to being a saber boi. Edit: Viable is a strong word. It's not impossible it's just not what the game leans towards
Blaster pistols are viable in the first game for your party members that use blasters. You just got to know how to build right, just make sure you're duel wielding them
Im in a blaster rifle run rn and its been going quite well actually, there has only been once or twice where i needed to switch to the saber to not die immediately to melee
Instead of changing old quests, they should just add more. Take a look at whatever content may have been cut, and try to add it. Same thing with companions, don't change old dialog, add more. Also they should improve the romance, maybe add some spicey scenes instead of just fading to black.
Ehh, I would probably change the Carth dialogue a bit to make him sound less like bitch. I get that its the point of his whole character but he just annoys the hell outta me whenever I play.
I think the bastila family subplot could be an example for it. It felt like it was cut. You can find the mother and talk to her but then it suddenly just end with "I don't know where your father is". I would love to see that Quest getting expanded so that bastila finally can make peace with her childhood
Oh they certainly do... Like I'll see someone complain about dark souls or soulslikes and want an easy mode because "I'd like the game then" okay... and? I dont like sports games, but I dont demand they change to make me more interested in them. "If I could murder everyone ingame I'd play more sports games" they just aren't made for me. So many people think literally think every game ever made should cater to them... somehow failing to realize for a while now as games matured they became so varied people look for certain ones for certain reasons. Some people really like sports games and therefore look for the best on the market ones. Some love shooters so they pick them. Then you have the weird bunch as I mentioned above who literally will demand a game to change to suit them because they dont like x thing about it. Like I wanna love crpgs, but imho trying to stuff table top rulesets into a computer game is terrible and just makes the game feel terrible too since theres no DM to help try and do damage control should things get REALLY bad. Just save and reload save reload reload ect. BUT while I'd love to see crpgs change I also realize theres plenty that DO like them as is, and it'd be asinine to expect them to change to suit just me.
This is what I want too see added. More fight moves. More side quests. More lightsaber colors like 2. More dialog from characters if possible. Maybe add in training sessions with crew members. Armors DON'T restrict Force powers. More levels to level up too instead of just 20
nah armors have to restrict force, but if if they just add more interesting jedi armors I think it will be way less of a problem, and also they need to add hoods and helmets, I always hate wearing the visors and face masks with my bald ass head sticking out.
I want less restrictions with exploration. Give us a novelty planet or two to farm crystals and extend the lightsaber building. Leave the rest the same and upgrade it. 👍🏻
Something I would like to see in the remake is certain parts of the game where you can have the whole Squad. Not just 3. Like storming a sith base. The Wookiee Rebellion. The Star Forge.
"Our big goals on this are to bring the story to a modern audience and have it be just as impactful". I'm not a jedi master or anything but I do feel a disturbance in the force.
The main defense for this statement I could think of Completely overhauling the combat system completely. not many people today prefer turn based combat in the western world
I have travelled into the hive of scum and villainy that is Twitter, and saw Aspyr PR completing lyrics from Republic Commando and my worries subsided, somewhat.
"Our big goals on this are to bring the story to a modern audience and have it be just as impactful" where did I hear that before oh that right that would be TLOU 2

There are three possible timelines we will face in futute. 1. The Timeline where the devs treat this remake properly and the gaming community can unite 2. The timeline where the game ends up among WWE 2K20, Cyberpunk 2077, Pokemon Sword, and Mass Effect Andromeda 3. The timeline where AngryJoe and Act Man collab review this game however it turns out
The problem is that it’s a PS exclusive... kinda so even if it’s bad the PS fans will buy it up like there is no tomorrow and throw those 10/10s at it anyway
I just want to know if it's canon or Legends, and the story group isn't being clear, so who knows. Even if it's EU, they are under no obligation to use the banner they invented for the EU back in 2014, because they want to stay the course and dilute canon before the imminent canon implosion in the next five years.

@@bubenknabe2737 Then why does pretty much every movie nowadays act like a female lead is a huge thing? And why do they always make her so powerful? Fact is, remaking things for modern audiences means the most recent of political views. Which mean race swapping and gender swapping in the name of representation. Also misrepresentation of issues that aren't issues, like what High Guardian Spice did.
@@dangerdash4393 >I’m talking bout how the mentality of 2003 is different than today’s of the gaming community and that’s why it is better to make it for modern audiences >you’re complaining how Rey got her powers out of the blue Literally flew past my argument by miles
@@bubenknabe2737 Most modern gamers that have experienced the older games wonder why a lot of today's games aren't as great by comparison. Make new games for the modern age, don't try and push today's views into older games. Or just make an adaptation based on the original, like what they did with the newer 47 Ronin movie. I didn't even say anything about Rey, wasn't even implying anything about Rey. My comment was on how most movies nowadays with a female lead is made such a big deal over, as if it's something that's only recently been done. And most of them aren't even that good compared to the older ones. But tell me, how is race swapping updating for modern times? How is gender swapping updating for modern times? Red Sonja is a white girl with fiery red hair, not a black girl with not red hair. Wesker is a white guy with blond hair, not a bald black guy.
Actually, Revan did have a voice actor (and actress for the female Revan). You only hear the voice when doing stuff like selecting Revan after playing as a different member of the party. But yeah, for the most part, Revan never had actual voiced dialogue with coherent sentences.
I wish now they will gove Revan an actual voice actor and make dialogues like in Mass effect or The witcher. Jeff Bennett should definetely return to Voice male Revan.
THE ONLY THING THEY DIDNT NEED WAS A "WRITTER" Just a new engine, at least ok graphics for current gen, add some new mechanics maybe, that's all! Story wise was perfect.
I mean to quite blunt, the story was far from amazing. It's certainly does not deserve to be on the pedestal that so many people put it on in the grand scheme on things. Despite that though I will say that in the current day and age, its far better to not have a rewrite or even modifications to the original story.
@@YA3ARMANII Care to elaborate how it would've been the same? I stated that Kotor 1 is no where near as good as people make it out to be, and then stated that it would still be better to remain unchanged in todays climate. Perhaps I should've been more clear that I meant that stories are so prone to being made shitty these days that Kotor is better off left alone then improved. How is that any less impactful then say, someone coming long and just repeating or agreeing with the original comment. Am I to believe that you would've said the same to someone who just repeated or agreed with the root comment here? Or would it be better to assume you took issue with me claiming that Kotor 1 is less then amazing and just had to reply a rebuttal in defence? Gotta be more clear with what your saying, easy to misunderstand what others are saying when you make vague comments.
@@Sone01TheFirst ok, kotor story it's not Nobel Prize worthy, i'm aware of that, but it's pretty damn good, specially when you go full darkside, but yeah, we all agree that does not need any change, specially made by a feminist Karen as rumored 🤦♂️
I always prefer KOTOR 2, but since this being remade for the Disney canon, I have no aspirations to buy it. The story group is being quite vague since they knew the Revan reveal suckered in even older EU die-hards. I have no desire to fall for another trap. I have Legends, and that is enough.
Ways that the remake could improve on the original KOTOR’s weaknesses: 1) Offer better romance story lines. If they’re going to go purely with the original canon story line and have a male Revan fall for Bastilla, then it needs to be compelling. If they’re going to go with the original 3 romance options, then give Carth and especially Juhani some more attention. 2) Offer Dragon Age Origins style combat options. Either turn based, top down or Fallen Order style. They’ll probably just go with the 3rd one, but options would be nice. 3) A balance between classic figure the path out and telling people what to do with markers and waypoints for everything. This includes punishing players for not taking the longer routes that’ll make things easier later, and offering way points for where to go, but nothing for things the player doesn’t know about, but once they’re discovered you can revisit them. 4) The ability to find things out in the world that aren’t related to quests, or are relevant to storylines that you haven’t started yet. 5) More viable combat styles. Choosing between a blaster and a lightsaber is pointless, because of the inconsistent damage enemies do, changing is pointless. If I can kill an enemy with a lightsaber, distance between me and my opponent doesn’t matter. But when I go up against Tusken Raiders, they do so much damage that having plot relevant characters in my party is impossible because I need the best damage dealers. 6) I’d like some more personality for my character. Presumably he’s going to be voiced, though I’d rather have the option for him not to be, however maybe give the option that Revan’s a bit of a flirt or ladies man, or perhaps he drinks a bit too much. Not exactly those, but something like that. 7) This more of a personal one, but a romance with Mission or non-crew mates might be good. 8) Offer an actual first person mode. There’s the option to look around in first person while stationary, but I wouldn’t mind playing the game like that. Just don’t fall into the CyberPunk trap and disconnect us from the character. Edit: Had a couple more ideas while I was in the shower. 9) Have hacking and repair be skill based, rather than item based. Keep repair parts as health kits for HK-47 and T3-M4, but when using a terminal have potential environmental weapons and repairing security droids be based on computer use and security. 10) Make it possible to spot mines. Have them be hidden, and an indicator pops up if you’re a high enough level, but you can still see them if you’re careful and vigilant enough. 11) This would be the first time I’m actually happy, or at least tolerate Disney decanonising things because the potential that we might get consequences to choosing light side or dark side that could impact a KOTOR 2 remake would be awesome. 12) Some introspection moments after the reveal from Malak would be good. The original let you do that on your own, but I’d like a moment in game to stop and recognise the weight of the reveal. 13) The chance to change my standing after the reveal. This is something I thought about after my second play through. I did a dark sided male and I realised how pissed I was at the Jedi for taking away my power and influence because I had the balls to do what they couldn’t. It’d be good to be able to turn full dark side between the reveal and assaulting the Star Forge. Mass Effect also had this problem. If I wanted to change from paragon to renegade due to a reveal or death in the story, I couldn’t, and that annoyed me when I roleplayed as Shepard/Revan. 14) Remove the loadings screens between the areas. As an example, the upper level of Taris is one area with the apartments, then the lower levels with the bases and sewers.
To be fair with that line though could just simply mean remaking combat system to be more intuitive and polished, graphics better, cleaning up story plot holes, etc. Though then again that is a bit of a more optimistic pov.
@@Awesomeisme7000 well that's the thing. Their "story plot holes" can mean a totaly different thing such as rewriting it to suit the disney canon such as trying to find ways to further make the sequels look better

The story outline for ROTS and the prequel trilogy was good, the implementation was truly piss poor though. Matt Stover's novelisation of Episode 3 was 10x better than the entire prequel film trilogy - it made me believe that Anakin's fall was inevitable and completely justified in his head space because of how well Stover wrote his interactions with Palpatine. If any film deserved 2 parts it was ROTS, but only if Stover wrote the script instead of Lucas who has so little aptitude for it. The main problem is that Lucas thought that politics was a cool change of pace for the franchise, and tthat to me was a viable possibility if done competently. The problem is that Lucas can't write politics for shit and was too far up his own arsehole to bring in better screenwriters. As to ROTS being a masterpiece? All I can say is that your cinema going experiences must be pretty limited to shallow CG battle fests 😑 Empire Strikes Back was a masterpiece without any modern CGI VFX changes added to it. A New Hope was the masterpiece that started the whoe ball rolling and was largely responsible for what gave Lucas the power to write his own ticket with the PT regardless of stupid decision after stupid decision that would make any sane producer pump on the brakes. Even Return of the Jedi was still fairly good even with the rather obvious toy advert called Ewoks - the emotion in ROTJ when one Ewok dies and its friend grieves over its body during the Battle of Endor has more impact for me than anything that happens between Anakin and Padme in the entire PT. This is the main problem with the PT that exceeds even the political writing blunders - there is no believable chemistry between Anakin and Padme. If their relationship was a spark, then Han and Leia was an erupting volcano.
One thing I don't want to see is the Light/Dark side meter dictating what you can and can't do. I think if half way through the game you want to switch from being the good guy to the bad guy you should be able to not that Mass Effect bs where you're locked to certain actions and it removes choice.
I agree and disagree. If you want to switch sure, but I do think that Bioware's trend of having choices impact the narrative should stay. Half of what made mass effect cool was seeing how what I did impacted the story. If Shepard was a dick the entire time It makes no sense that he could unite the galaxy, and I appreciate the logical consistency and impact that has. It respects my autonomy more than having an open world sandbox that lets you choose whatever you want, but ultimately every single item and dialogue option is completely useless, arbitrary, shallow, and a waste of my time. BOTW seemed really cool at first until I realized that being that open meant that time was taken away from good dungeons to make a giant map, and as a result all the shrines felt like about as difficult as 1st grade math requiring next to no thought, and low level items were a complete waste of my time since it was just more efficient to go and grab the good items first.
I think there should be a sort of token system. If you have polite dialogue and do nice things, you earn good tokens. Being a jerk earns bad tokens. Your token type will adjust an overall morality meter once you earn them, and then you can use those tokens to purchase or enhance certain abilities. Force lightning will require bad tokens to purchase and upgrade, and your morality meter will add certain buffs or nerfs depending how far it is each way; high good morality makes your lightning deal more stun, while high bad morality makes it spread to more targets. You can even use these tokens and morality level to enhance neutral abilities, like an aura ability that can give a healing effect when good, or a damaging effect when bad, but the overall neutral aura increases hit chances.
You know one of the things I would like to see is an improvement in dialogue. To be more specific revans dialogue could use a bit of a revamp. A lot of times in the game, you'd only have 3 or so options, one obnoxiously good, one obnoxiously evil, and then the neutral option. Just add some more options that fall between cartoon hero and villain. To go along with this point I would like the option to play like how revan was portrayed in the second game. One of the strongest points for the second game was character interaction and dialogue and I personally feel that that game made revan the character he is today.
Those red flags killed my hype for the remake but that doesn't mean I won't give it a fair chance. I just rather have no expectations and be glad they didn't fuck up than the opposite situation.

Flesh out the companion side quests and characters for Dustil, Griff, Lena, Jagi, Helena, and Xor. 6.) Make the clothes and accessories look better. 7.) Fix any cringe dialogue 8.) Allow more immersive dialogue with things like using force choke in conversation and more interesting uses for force persuade. 9.) Side quests via notepads are lame. Find more interesting ways to gather clues to discover things like the Sith killing Dustil's lover. 10.) Create more opportunities for party members to chime in and for NPCs to interact with party members. 11.) Wearing a Jedi robe in Korriban shouldn't go unnoticed. 12.) The real question is why does a remake need a new story? Generally a remake enhances the visuals, UI, controls, and adds new gameplay features. So why do they want or need a writer for a story overhaul? If they're not going to make the story 'woke' then why change it at all?
A game remake should just be limited to the engine, gameplay and adding cut content that was planned for the original game. RE remake 2002 showed the way but many don't want to follow its footsteps.
You're literally thinking of and describing a remake, this is a full grounds up remake modern with modern day technology and story enhancements just like the Final Fantasy 7 remake did

Plus, as with film adaptations of books, you can't rely exclusively on what the original writing was like.
@@gamerinatrance3618 Star Wars is literally based around the WWII era, there shouldn't be anything rewriting in the name of political correctness. It's not meant to be a 1 to 1 mirror of our world, it's fantasy that;s meant to be escapism. Political correctness is the reason why they're so against anime, because anime focuses of good stories and entertaining characters, instead of "will this line of writing hurt someone's feelings?" Updating material for modern audiences is why the Cowboy Bebop live action is already failing before it's even fully released, and why High Guardian Spice is dead on arrival.
If they add to the story I hope most of the new writing is for playable flashback sequences as Revan. We had a few cutscenes of this but I think playable sections as an insanely op Darth Revan could be lots of fun. Like the Ciri sections in Witcher 3.
The “modern audience” is not who loves and cherishes these games and characters. Not the ones who wanted a remake. Why tailor this game towards them? Obviously the answer is money. But man it would be nice if that wasn’t the answer for once.
i think and hope what they mean by that is new combat better animations things like that probably a new UI mo cap for cutscenes that may be shot diffrently (as in angels or drawn out fights and space combat )
My absolute favorite mechanic from Kotor 2 was being so damn persuasive that you could literally make your companion that swore an oath to her savior to never touch the force again become your sith warrior. I think revan also kind of naturally was just charismatic like that, so I think it’d be cool if they kind of added that mechanic into Kotor remake. Hyped.
Personally, I want to be able to join the Genoharadan, I was really excited when this subplot came up, and I was crushed and devastated to be denied entry.
Up to Aspyr honestly. If they see more value in tweaking things to appeal to a modern audience then so be it. Things do age regardless of how good they are.
@gustav champoski The force being feminine makes sense tbh. Its literally based off of Campbell and Jungs "Pre-Patriarchal Life Energy" and those types usually code creative forces as female. IE the concept of the "Earth Mother". Do you really think the entertainment industry isnt trying to make money? Do you think they are like stabbing themselves in the chest and wallet by putting a brief lesbian kiss in some movie, and then censoring it from non-western releases. Every diverse or "progressive" scene in a movie is just part of a marketing aesthetic. Partially to appeal to different audiences and partially to put up the aesthetic of being a "good" mega corporation. Do you really think catering to the more hardcore fans is the only way to make money??? I mean, if the franchises loyal hardcore fanbase mostly consists of "Straight White Males" wouldnt it make the most sense to try and broaden that appeal? Thats just a good way to make money. And it works. Formerly like 90% male games like League Of Legends now have massive female and queer fanbases. Hell, look at Jedi Fallen Order. You ever seen bitches go crazy over the two "goth" girls in that game?
@gustav champoski So like, you ever read the heroes journey? The monomyrh was a key inspiration from Star Wars and it goes way deeper than most people realize there’s a lot of theorizing about morality and human nature. Like, I don’t think the force was really ever meant to be female but I kind of see what they were going for, and whatever there’s worse ways to get “women points” in a movie. See Im a pretty left wing guy. And it’s funny because in a lot of my kind of left wing circles a lot of people also hate this superficially woke stuff because it really does so little and is so disingenuous. Like remember Finn from the sequels? He was pitched as like the new “Han Solo” type sidekick and he just got shafted to put more focus on Reylo. A lot of people thought this shit was like, straight up harmful race baiting and the worst kind of representation. It feels like these people always only do whatever is so progressive that precisely 60% of Americans will support it, and 30% won’t really care. Like, didn’t they briefly allude to some cop being a married lesbian in some Disney movie...and try to make a big deal out of that. People saw how shallow it was. I don’t necessarily think it’s like modern ideology, but I think female representation or more well rounded female characters can help with that appeal. Like what happened with league is insane. At one point literally half of the player base was women. And I think there is a pretty big financial incentive because, in my experience, female or queer fans will go wild when they like something. Fandom culture is insane like that. And I don’t even think this is bad for white dudes as long as it’s still well written. Like I think the failures of the sequel trilogy was just that it was disjointed and horribly written. There’s plenty of “woke” pieces of media that work pretty well. Hell, there’s a lot of modern Star Wars stuff that blew the fuck up. People loved fallen order, clone wars, rebels, Rogue One. I think it’s easy to look at the mixed reception of the sequels and be like “go woke, go broke” but overall the franchise is going pretty strong. Me and my girl are slowly going down the Star Wars rabbit hole after playing Fallen order and Kotor for example.
@@gamerinatrance3618 sometimes the age is what makes it good. I’m sure we all know about the constant visual updates on the original trilogy that just made it way too busy. It doesn’t need to be updated

I totally agree with the battle system. Everything I level up, I can't really tell if the points I'm using up make any difference in battle so I half the time I just put in blindly and hope for the best. My first playthrough I thought I screwed up leveling my character and had to restart lol.

@Jack K That is kind of an overstatement I'd say, it's not like Alec Guinness and Ford Harrison hated the Star Wars movie they were filming and still lovable characters. Plus I don't think Aspyr will fuck up considering they are the guys who made great ports to mobile. I highly doubt one person will fuck the the entirety especially when they only have the power to write something that they either be agreed upon or not.
I'm concerned that they're hiring writers at all, the story of the game was the most important part, and I don't think it should be messed with. Everything else about the game can be completely ruined and the game would be worth playing.
Guys, they’re gonna have to rewrite and re-record a lot since it’s a remake. Like he said I don’t want to play the same game with a reskin, that’d be boring. Obviously we should be on our toes, but I don’t think hiring new writers is cause for concern.

@@Zeriel00 Yeah it's honestly so fucking tiring to see people actually giving new products a shot anymore. I know I'm sounding unreasonable by saying that, but seriously, take a look at anything coming out in this generation and if you'll really step back and look at it, you'll see the bar has gotten so damn low. Like ridiculously low. If consumers had a brain, they'd use their gamer intuition to realize this remake is going to be a rewriting of an already great game with worse characters and social politics. That's assuming they even care. They'll probably just buy it anyway to grasp at any fleeting nostalgia they can while playing an infinitely worse version of the original. And hell, it isn't just Star Wars anymore, it's basically everything in the gaming industry. One of the only games I've been interested in, Dying Light 2, has recently been doing some shady things, like firing Chris Avellone early on in development and changing one of the female leads from white to black. Now the only game I was even semi interested in this year has me concerned. I really do miss 2010.
I dont think you can blame the fans for reacting like this. We are so used to games or developers having a woke(condescending political ) bent to them, that it is at this point a trained Pavlovian reaction. This is a defense mechanism for our games being fucked by PC politics.
Didn't Sam Maggs write Mass Effect: Andromeda and the disappointing story of Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps DLC? That doesn't inspire much confidence if you ask me. But, I'll remain cautiously optimistic because I want the remake to be good. I've never played KOTOR before and I want to experience it myself. Edit: I did a fuck-up and it's only right that I try to correct it. I originally thought Sam work on Mass Effect: Andromeda, but after deciding to check one last time, turns out she didn't. After Bioware, she was hired as a senior writer for the Spider-Man DLC and was the head writer for Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. She departed from Insomniac in 2020. My guy, whatever your opinions are of wahmen in vidya gaems, there are some women in Kotor who could use a touch up. Making Mission a little more savvy, making Juhani more explicitly queer. Neither of which are faults of the original particularly, it would just be nice to see since they can do it now. Maggs is little different to other female writers since the wiggle room for that kind of touch up work is narrow. Other than just blacklisting writers for having politics you don't like, what's your take here? She can't get a job in an industry we all love? I thought my "side" was the side "policing" entertainment.
couldnt care less about star wars, but the fact the they included in their team someone who is so antagonist to the fanbase should raise big concerns about the final product
What is politically incorrect in Kotor is that the player has choice....that cannot be allowed to get in the way of the message the devs want to say. That would be the red flag for me. As with all modern games and movies I have come to the point where I expect them to be shit...hope for them to be good...and am pleased when they are just middling. Such as The Suicide Squad...plot is torn to ribbons with holes but the character work was surprisingly excellent.
Exactly what popped in my head. We don’t see it. Act Man doesn’t see it. And that’s the point. We never do. That’s why we’re always caught off guard at the next thing these people freak out about.
SWTOR is not a clone of Mass Effect. Both games were in development roughly around the same time. Plus Mass Effect is more of a clone to KOTOR 1&2 since Kotor had the system first and they just modified it to mass effect.
I mean they could totally combine KOTOR 1&2 into one game. But they'd make more money if they did them separately. So I really hope that KOTOR 2 gets done as well because the over arching story is just so awesome. Best period in Star Wars history imo, close second is Darth Bane.
I want 2 more than 1. Hopefully that don’t set it on fire with woke and it sells well enough to find a second and who knows maybe we finally get that promised third game. No the book doesn’t count, it doesn’t exist, please please don’t remind me of that garbade

@@Sone01TheFirst you said all that when you could’ve said nothing and the impact would’ve been the same
@@YA3ARMANII Care to elaborate how it would've been the same?
Ways that the remake could improve on the original KOTOR’s weaknesses:
1) Offer better romance story lines.

All I can say is that your cinema going experiences must be pretty limited to shallow CG battle fests 😑
Empire Strikes Back was a masterpiece without any modern CGI VFX changes added to it.
@@calebcollette7806 yes
True path is shrouded in grey. BALANCE in all things is what The Force is all about.
Choice is nothing without consequence. Such as without sin there couldn’t be virtue. Like making everyone super then nobody is.

Plus, as with film adaptations of books, you can't rely exclusively on what the original writing was like.
@@gamerinatrance3618 Finally, I found someone with a functioning brain
Nah, not for money but agenda pushing, actually appealing to old fans would get them more money then whatever garbage their likely to put in.
i think and hope what they mean by that is new combat better animations things like that probably a new UI mo cap for cutscenes that may be shot diffrently (as in angels or drawn out fights and space combat )
It's very likely they mean gameplay. It's extremely outdated
Exactly. Modern audiences only like immediate gratification. Where in Kotor you had to build up to it.
@@NOOBATRON-bs4jo they are definitely working on dialogue and the story as well because that maggs chick is a writer. Nothing else.
Please don’t write it for “the modern audience”, write it for the loyal fan base from almost 20 years ago.
If they cared about "those fiftysomethings," they'd license new Legends books and comics, and they haven't.
@@gamerinatrance3618 sometimes the age is what makes it good. I’m sure we all know about the constant visual updates on the original trilogy that just made it way too busy. It doesn’t need to be updated
