If it seems like I'm more pissed off at this game than I should be, I guess it's because Battlefront was one of my favorite things to play back in the day. I think my anger stems from what the series COULD be at this point in time, but how it actually turned out. I will play this game for maybe another month just for the novelty of playing a newer Star Wars game. I still do not recommend buying this game. Because EA has to ruin everything.
Your father grew up in poverty on some planet that the Republic has always neglected. During his late teens, the Clone Wars raged on, but they didn't affect him because neither side was interested in his planet. But then the Empire came along and his planet became a major economic center, and so he started living a comfortable middle class life. He decided to get married start a family. He had two children: you and your older brother. For years, you grew up on this safe, clean Imperial planet, and your father always told you stories of how hard life was before the Empire came along, and how lucky you are to live under their protection. One day, you hear the news reports about the destruction of the first Death Star, which was a symbol of order and security. A memorial is erected in your local park, listing the names of the people from your town who were killed. You're still just a kid, but your older brother decides to join the Imperial Army and become a stormtrooper to fight the Rebel terrorists who want to destroy your way of life. You and your father have never been so proud. A few years later, you hear about a disaster on Endor. You find out the Empire was secretly building a new Death Star, but the Rebels have destroyed that one too. But this time, your brother was on board. Your father falls into a spiral of depression. He stops working, and the bills start piling up. You end up having to move out of your house and into a small, dingy apartment. He occasionally has angry outbursts, and your mother becomes afraid of him. She divorces him, and takes you with her to live with your grandmother. A few weeks later, you hear that your father has killed himself. You need to support your mother, so you try to find a job, but with the destruction of the Death Star came economic unrest. Investors panicked and stocks plummeted. Businesses all over your planet close their doors. Unemployment, homelessness, and crime rates skyrocket. There is no hope for a brighter tomorrow. You now hate the Rebels more than anything. Your eighteenth birthday is coming up. Soon you will be old enough to join the Imperial military yourself. Your quest for justice is about to begin.
To be serious for a while though. Showing the gender might be part of the "helmet off" thing. But it is also about providing a face for the viewers to become attached to. There is a reason why the dime-a-dussin standard enemy almost always have a face-covering mask in games and movies. They are dehumanized because the largest part of hour brain that identifies something as human, is taken out of the process. And as such, we care far less that they die to the heroes of the story.
@T H to be honest, i don't see it as a "gender issue". i was just makin' a funny (spoiler alert). good observation. of course, i should say that i didn't buy the game, so i wouldn't know if there's more evidence to support the argument for forced...diversity or whatever it might be called. a female protagonist was the least of this game's problems (if at all).
I still find it funny how the old battlefront 2 had a way more interesting story and more compelling main character despite the fact we never see the main clone, Hell you never even learn his name. It also worked better for what type of game it was, an old veteran recounts his time in the Clone Wars and the rise of the Empire, and you play through the large scale battles being described.

@@DogeickBateman Man, I’m getting chills reading that here. And yes, the narration was just *SO* good. Temuera Morrison killed the delivery, and the writer(s) who created that dialogue killed it, as well. And it was so striking to me how the game didn’t really even have proper cutscenes-it was just reels of blurry gameplay footage, basically!-yet managed to be utterly compelling with those diary/memoir-style voice entries. Masterful.
What was great is that the games got banned in some EU countries as it was found to be a form of gambling. Which it is, 100%. Addicting kids to gambling is a shitty move.
MunMun MurMur actually, that’d be more accurate as to EA killing off all companies they bought because they don’t make enough money for them. And maybe their own workers, because they don’t pay them half the time.
Basically anyone who bought the game day one might as well of lined themselves up against a wall and wait for the shots to fly, I had some interest in the Empire focused concept for this Battlefront, although when I heard about all the "Editions" they had for the game before it had even launched, I stayed far away from it. Thank God for the choice.
the sad thing is that I saw it coming from a mile away. When it was announced that u would b playing as someone in the Empire my first thought was "oh joy, they're gonna go the typical bad guy defects and redeems themselves via joining the good guys I bet" and lo and behold that is EXACTLY what happens. I seem to b psychic when it comes to Star Wars, I knew Iden would go the cliche bad guy-turns good route, when I saw the interview between George Lucas and Krazy Kathleen Kennedy I knew she'd fuck the franchise up and then when the media starting making a big deal about Rey being the "first female protagonist in years" I could tell exactly where it was going, with SW now unfortunately owned by Di$ney they would turn Rey into a ridiculously op character and guess what? I was right again.
Bf2's story could've been like 1st act: we get a view in Iden's childhood with objectives to work like a tutorial to teach the player about interactable objects 2nd act: we get an in depth of imperial training with the player doing target practice and learn about advanced movement like rolling then the player is pointed out by the imperial trainer 3rd act: We get to see Iden as a disciplined imperial soldier and do some missions while being introduced to her squad 4th act: new hope, the player takes control of Iden's starcraft and following orders of her superior which is her father on the death star while the player has to destroy rebel ships from cruisers alongside the rest of the squad. But then bang death star goes boom alongside her father is big dead. 5th act: Empire strikes back, the player is on hoth along side stormtroopers killing rebel scum and Vader is seen ahead for some fan service witnessing the rebel's escape. 6th act: Endor yada yada a more angry iden with her comrades having to calm her down as she has ptsd and allows the player to go pew pew on some rebels. And i am going to stop because this was just an excuse to make some fan fiction.
They wrote a book and expected everyone would read it before playing and hoped that would be enough. There are 3 problems there: 1) it’s Lazy 2) not everyone is going to read it 3 & in my opinion) I read the book and it ended up being superior to the campaign
I could never get over having to tag your targets by selecting the tagger in the inventory before you attack them. I'm a bounty hunter, not a cop. I'll hogtie anyone I want and ID them later.
Understandable. But think of it like this, being special forces they had seen/ done more of the shady shit for the empire that it wore on them more so than the Storm Troopers who (joined to get off world or what not) only been in a few battles. There was people on the first death star from Alderon who stayed after its destruction.
To add on a previous comment, it may also just have to do with general intelligence among stormtroopers. From what I see, Empire Stormtroopers are a great army not because of their skill (lol), but because of their sheer numbers, and loyalty to the empire. In other words, they're probably the meatheads, the grunts, so they don't really question the empire's motives, as to where the AD soldiers are more experienced, and probably naturally more inclined to be freethinking than other troopers who still believe in Empire Propaganda. That's my thought, anyways. It's really all up to personal inference and perception.
Here is some stormtrooper lore summed up in a few minutes. Definitely some more to explore, but this seems to backup at least some of the propagandist paths that the Empire went with.
it pisses me of that the games have same names, as I am a fan of modding the original and Mr google is becoming very confused when I'm looking for some
Nathaniel Roe or when they just straight up kill Iden after getting 1 half baked...actually not half baked like still cookie dough gooy campaign and then they killed of a new character we didn’t care about to insert another character we don’t care about. Like fuck
well you see iden was old and they need an younch female protagonist to take over, that is what they did with the crew from the Original trilogy, they killed them all of (minus leia) so that the strong young female protagonist could take over.
"WATCH THOSE WRIST ROCKETS!" "OW! WAS IT SOMETHING I SAID!?" "We have taken a command post!" "BROWLING HECK! IT'S A SUPER!" "Just like the simulations" The Prequel units had the best quotes in the original Battlefront II.
I feel like a game that focuses more on the empire side of Star Wars is more interesting than another rebels side of the story. All we see in the movies is the rebels fighting the empire. I’d like to see a movie about the empire and how the standard stormtrooper felt about the rebels and how they felt about both Death Stars blowing up.
yep... Not sure why people are buying this shit. Hopefully people pay for the origin pass (only 15 bucks for a full month) instead of buying BFV.... BFV is almost as much of a piece of shit as Battlefront 2, but BFV at least has incredible gunplay. Anyway, I spend $15 for a great monthly service, and these greedy cunts never get the full $60 bucks. I'll probably get at least 50-100 hours (depending on my free time the next 28 days) for $15... That's a steal. If people just payed for the pass, they'd be able to get the content's worth out of these hollow games that are fun for maybe a few hours, and then EA doesn't get the full $60 from you. Keep in mind, that with that $15 you get access to like 80 AAA games that are actually worth playing (not outcasted india bullshit.)
it all lies in intent. in the case of the originals, the priority was in creating an enjoyable experience. for the reboots, the priority was money, with fan reception being an afterthought
The thing is battlefront was made by pandemic, one of the best developers in my opinion, they introduced levelution before it was even a thing with mercenaries. The playground style of gameplay that just cause has but i personally felt it was done better. They are known for their open world free roam games like saboteur and DAH so i think they are just better at making a open and fun multiplayer game like battlefront.
Almost 1 year since the video was uploaded and we didn't get a shred of Clone Wars content except for two clone skins both of which are a continuity error....
When the whole scandal about lootboxes came in, EA saw they won't get the money they expected the game to generate... So all "the content" that we SHOULD have by now is coming very slowly or won't come because EA moved everyone on other projects that will generate money! That's all and it is fucking sad and disgusting... I'm not bying EA bullshit anymore, they do not deserve our money
As an Empire fan, this was SUCH a disappointment. And the whole reasoning for it? Setting up the shit movies coming out next. By the gods I hate them for what they have done!
To this day the idea behind Operation: Cinder continues to baffle me. It's one of the most idiotic things this franchise has ever come up with. The Emperor is dead for sure but fucking hell that doesn't mean the entire Imperial fleet consisting of 25K Star Destroyers and thousands of worlds its jurisdiction have suddenly become useless. Vardos was an Imperial Stronghold. Keyword: STRONGHOLD. People who are still loyal to the Empire along with countless core worlds who were loyal to the Empire because Empire only cared about Core and mid-rim worlds. But nope instead of using the almost infinite man power the Empire has at its disposal, let's kill the people who are loyal to us and destroy our own strongholds. Basically doing the Rebellion's work for them! What amazing tactics! Operation Cinder should seriously be retconned. It's one of the most dumbass things writers have come up with in Star Wars.
But Palpatine was petty. If he died, then in his view, the Empire failed him, and therefore the Empire must be destroyed. Either he rules, or no one rules.
I think they tried to tie into the story of how the First Order/ Final Order from the new trilogy came to be. If I remember correctly, Palpatine's contingency plan was to recycle the Empire through destroying it from the inside and salvaging a number of important assets for secretly building the Final Order, whereas the First Order was founded by the imperials that weren't in on the Contingency plan, but still remained loyal to the idea of the Empire. It's a mess of bull, but what can you do? That's the Dark Side for ya. 😒
@@scottishjedi1522 Palpatine isn't fucking petty. I'm tired about Disney making Palps a senile old man who barely knows what he's doing. Sheev was a MASTERMIND. HE WAS ALWAYS IN CONTROL. HE ISN'T THE TYPE OF MORON TO THROW AWAY HIS ENTIRE LIFETIME'S EFFORTS TO BUILD AN EMPIRE JUST BECAUSE HE DIED. If the Sith don't rule, then an Empire based on their ideology would. THAT'S HOW PALPATINE WOULD THINK.
27:50 "you don't have any decisions after you spawn" That perfectly sums up my problem with this and so many modern FPS games. It drives me insane. I've been trying to figure out what specifically it is that bothers me about these games and you worded it perfectly, thank you.
Dude idk what it is with your videos. Maybe your voice. But they are so long, and any other RUclips channel I see 30 min plus I’m always like “nahhhh” but I can watch all your videos no matter how long they are. You got a talent.
I feel its because other folks stuff there videos to increase video run time where he actually has something to say. Its just more honest and entertaining.
It is so bad because the writers were trying to make a "Strong Female Protagonist" by making them an emotionless Solider, because any emotions would be seen as "weakness". It is incredibly sexist of the writers, and it always ruins the story. Basically a Mary Sue like Rey, people want to see emotions and flaws in the characters , male or female.
Wouldnt it be compelling if we've gotten a coming of age story? To see how the conflict of the empire came to be, and how she feels about her crew? And to see the chemistry of the characters?
It's because dudes wrote the character. I'm pretty sure almost all the writers for Battlefront 2 were men (just like the new movie trilogy), and this is the safest way to write a female character. But honestly, it's not the industry's fault women don't want to write sci-fi games. Most women are not interested in science fiction shooters. Like, I can tell almost right away when a "strong female character" is actually written by a guy.
Still nowhere near as fun as the originals. The Bot mode with Instant Action pales in comparison to the 2005 game. The command post mode still sucks because there are no vehicles populating the map. And it still feels like a deathmatch no matter what mode you play.

Quotes from a game that came out in 2005! People actually hyped and join up to play a game that had its servers somewhat restored from 2005! Why is Battlefront 2 (Classic, 2005) the staple to which Battlefront should be held? Not cause of nostalgia, but rather its easy to create! "What I remember about the rise of the Empire is... is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the 501st Legion was discreetly transferred back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip. We all knew what was about to happen, what we were about to do. Did we have any doubts? Any private, traitorous thoughts? Perhaps, but no one said a word. Not on the flight to Coruscant, not when Order 66 came down, and not when we marched into the Jedi Temple. Not a word." (copy and pasted from the wiki)
This game infuriated me. Ever since I was a kid, I was interested to know what the Imperial supporter thought. I got this from reading The Rommel Papers (a collection of journals, letters, and recounted conversations with the legendary general of the Germans in World War 2, Erwin Rommel) in which Rommel, who was a patriot and cared for his men but not his government, talked about the war, his feelings for his men, his fears about the Nazis, and his love for his family. He fought hard to protect his family, save his men, and was rewarded by being given the choice between suicide and his family falling into the hands of the SS. It was illuminating seeing the war from Rommel’s perspective. How many Imperials in Star Wars were like him? How many just needed a job? How many were true believers? How many thought they were protecting the galaxy? I thought this game was going to show the Imperial side, warts and all. Instead I got a boring, cliche story. What if instead Ayden died at the end, believing the Empire was doing harsh, but needed things? What if she was trying to protect her father and the man she loved? What if the Rebels had attacked a ship her mother was on, and killed her, providing her a reason to hate them? Nope. We got boilerplate “I was bad, now I’m good.” Boooooring.
A wasted opportunity. Battlefield V may have been bad, especially when compared to what came before it, but The Last Tiger mission was incredible for how well it was able to effectively portray the German's crumbling morale and failing resolve. Sure, the soldiers were fighting for the bad guys, but they were still human, and brought with them both the good and bad. If Star Wars Battlefront II had a campaign with similar themes, it would have been such an incredible campaign, but they decided to go with such a cookie cutter turncoat story it became almost boring from how predictable it was.
15:25 You know...theres a reason soldiers are not supposed to take off their helmets while in the field. Why the F#ck would you, a futuristic stormtrooper with commando training, think its a great idea to take off your helmet?
Snipers love that shit. Also, the reason they have helmets is to protect from gas attacks and other bacterial elements that might infect the soldier. Yes, they have full body suits, but it's no use if the head isn't protected. Oh, and by the way, Ewoks are masters at making poisons. Iden should have gotten poisoned by them when she took her bucket off.

I think one thing that really drove people to the game at first was that they had the Clone Wars era in it. The first one I always remembered wanting to fight as a clone captain yet it was only set in the time frame of Ep. 4 5 and 6. So when they announced and revealed that the prequels were going to be in the second battlefront I feel a lot of people flocked to the game.

Jeff Solis How can you forget the graphics and the micro transactions? This may not be the best star wars game but it for damn sure is the best looking star wars game ever made.
"Jeff Solis The music is literally taken from the movies and other games so if you watch any Star Wars movies, you’ll be able to remember it." Half true. The fact is that John's music is underused in Battlefraud 2 and it's used very often in the wrong moments. I remember getting the chance to play Darth Maul in OG SWBFII. For the entire duration of you playing as him you could hear "Duel of the Fates" Doesn't get much more badass than that. Or if you played as Obi-Wan you could hear "Battle of the Heroes" for the entire duration. Meanwhile in Battlefraud 2 you hear the theme for 10 seconds and it's over. Fucking bullshit.
Battlefront II has changed a lot, almost every single aspect of the game has been improved and reworked, for example, there is 0 pay to win, it is all play to win, they’re less money hungry then before and I would even recommend playing the game, I was just as mad at the games launch, but now I’m just happy the game is fun now, but it’s still hard to forgive EA for being greedy especially with their greed filled past and most likely future. Zoltan Z its not true. Walt Williams co-wrote swbf2 campaign is the same that did the writing of spec ops: the line. The story of this game is amazing and the writing is terrific. Im sure he had some restraints by disney or ea, idk really, but the talent of the writer is not the reason the story sucks. He did one ama on reddit and someone asked him how much freedom he had to write the star wars campaign and he didnt answer. Link to ama: www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/70w737/im_walt_williams_writer_of_spec_ops_the_line_and/?
Basically, a good writer wouldnt matter when EA/Disney want a story a certain way, you can only do so much when they tell you almost 90% of the story. Now if you had creative freedom around a Special Ops Agent of the Empire and could do as you wish with the character and it didnt matter how long the game would be, then yea, it would be abit better. But knowing how extreme feminist Disney is with the Star Wars license, then they restricted him severely.
I love how Pandemic Games, who didn't have nearly as much staff as EA and DICE, could create huge content rich Star Wars Battlefront games while EA and DICE can't make even 25% of the content Pandemic Games did for their Star Wars Battlefront games. Just goes to show you that the biggest studios with even more resources can be outdone by studios with far less staff and money.
Pandemic also did all of that within a year. It was an absolutely hellish development schedule for the people involved, from what I read, but they managed to pull it off. Now I don’t believe anyone should be put in those conditions again, so I don’t expect it to completely match Pandemic’s efforts, but the fact that a much smaller studio managed to put that much content in practically half the time, that’s a feat.
It's priorities. They spent all their time and money on making it look pretty and trying to work in how to bait people into buying into their loot box system while hopefully not making them too upset about the obvious balance issues that entails. Small developers working under smaller publishers on the other hand often simply want to make a good game people will love. That's it.
Pandemic created some of the best games that I've ever played, especially when they weren't under EA. Games like Star Wars Battlefront, SWB2, Full Spectrum Warrior, Destroy All Humans, and Mercenaries Playground Of Destruction were all fantastic. Even The Saboteur, which was sadly their very final project before EA shut them down permanently, turned out to be an epic WW2 game that combined a whole boatload of diverse gameplay mechanics with a deeply personal, symbolic, and transformative story!
Games aren't made by passionate gamers who want to make the game of their dreams and make it the best game that they can. There might be some developers who are passionate gamers but they are just the tools the corporate executive use to create there perfectly focus-tested 'game'. They aren't in the business of making money by creating the best possible game, they're in the business of extracting as much money as possible from from a player-base, no matter how small it is.
That's because they arnt meant to be fun anymore. Games are too hard and expensive to make dude, they need your money. Companies like EA and Dice are full of people practically starving to death. And all you care about is having fun? Entitled gamers I swear.
I fucking loved Darth Vader's old movement style, where he would straight up fly and glide instead of run, I wish they would've made him that way again. He's not supposed to run, he's too badass for that pansy shit.
Forcer I'm not a clonewars fan but I'm pretty sure that everything starwars is better than rebels. Rebels is just a kids show, they left the WARS out of the STARWARS missing.
Yeah, that's because Lego is a masterpiece and the original Star Wars Saga LEGO game was a godly game that should be praised as much as the Lord himself
This video basically sums up how I feel about most AAA studios. The art is always really good, but most of the problems come from the one dimensional gameplay that is forced on the game because of rng loot systems and time lockouts.
That Luke mission is my favorite story moment. My favorite gameplay moment is the space battle over Fondor. The ending of the Luke mission had me excited for seeing more of what Luke was up to after Return of the Jedi. And I love Luke’s reason for helping Del “Because you asked.” That is Luke Skywalker, not that depressed hermit in The Last Jedi.
Matt Mercer was awful as Luke though. At least all the other VAs did a good job impersonating but he didn't even try. Then again, he probably knew this game wasn't good.

That moment when you realize that the only multiplayer shooter that doesn't have micro-transactions/loot boxes made last year is Splatoon 2. That's sad.
Here I come, rougher than the rest of them! Ok, fair enough. I just forgot to acknowledge amiibos as DLC. However, one thing that amiibo have over other forms of DLC is that they can be used in other games, instead of just one. So, for example, I can use my Splatoon amiibo on MK8 or other games that are compatible with it, while in Battlefront EA 2, those Star Cards will be useless as soon as the next Battlefront game comes out. Also, at least amiibos function as physical, collectable items and (on a side note) don't give you items to win the game. I'm not trying to be a Nintendo fanboy (even though I call myself one sometimes), I'm just trying to explain why I don't think amiibos are as bad as other forms of DLC.
There's nothing wrong with having a female lead tho. It's just very clear the only reason ea had one is due to "diversity" not because it would have been good for the story
It’s kinda sad how 3 years after this video was made, Ea still does this shit, gets yelled at, and still get away with it. If you ask me, Ea needs someone who can run the company without having loot boxes in every god damn game they make.
seeing how Pandemic had wayyyy less employees than Dice and the other companies COMBINED shows how greedy and lazy EA is, and how little the employees of EA's Battlefront 2 cared about Star Wars.
Pandemic made their best work when not under EA. Off the top of my head, I can name Star Wars Battlefront, SWB2, Full Spectrum Warrior, Destroy All Humans, and Mercenaries Playground Of Destruction. RIP Pandemic!
Just look at Telltale, they are a small company but still make good games(I know the choices don't alter the main story, but that's the point)We are given options to work on 'how' things will happen and what relationship will happen with who
If anything the new star wars games really help us appreciate the old games more and keep reminding us why we loved them and still love them to this day.

EA has paid for it deerly, as lootboxes are now being looked into and voted as gambling by many nations and US States. EA is also losing quite abit of money for all the shady stuff they pulled with the game. Marketing it as a perspective of an Imperial Special Ops Agent, but then 2-3 missions in she switches sides? Thats false advertising as well. Not to mention that they also will see the decrease in sales not just from the game, but also Disney's sales dropping as they are from The Last Jedi. Overall, greed and trying to appeal to everyone doesnt work out when there are fans that would buy a remastered Battlefront 2 (2005) for at least $40. Shoot, imagine the game remastered, new graphics, an updated server system, new mechanics and old mechanics returning, more heroes/villians, a larger more expansive story, larger galactic conquest, classes revamped and rebalanced accordingly, EA/Disney would have a KILLER game just by taking a almost 13 year old game and modernizing it. It would easily sell more than copies and have WAY higher revenue being sold for like $40 then the last two EA Battlefront's combined for sure.
I think part of the problem is that EA doesn't want to make a game that people will play for years, they want yearly releases. Why make one really good game for x amount of dollars when you can make 5 games over 5 years with the same investment.
@The Act Man If you don't mind me saying, I didn't mind the first EA battlefront and quite enjoyed walker assault.

Would you be able to do a video on why Kotor 1 And Kotor 2 are so awesome?

It also had a far better "Imperial Perspective" than this garbage of a campaign.

I can't help but feel like the Empire slaughtering loyal citizens is a metaphor for how EA treated the people who bought Battlefront 2.

I bought it immediately when it came out, 70 bucks, I played it for 1 week, then it became boring and i regretted buying it

Basically anyone who bought the game day one might as well of lined themselves up against a wall and wait for the shots to fly, I had some interest in the Empire focused concept for this Battlefront, although when I heard about all the "Editions" they had for the game before it had even launched, I stayed far away from it.

2nd act: we get an in depth of imperial training with the player doing target practice and learn about advanced movement like rolling then the player is pointed out by the imperial trainer
3rd act: We get to see Iden as a disciplined imperial soldier and do some missions while being introduced to her squad
4th act: new hope, the player takes control of Iden's starcraft and following orders of her superior which is her father on the death star while the player has to destroy rebel ships from cruisers alongside the rest of the squad.

I find it very funny that a special forces commander betrayed the empire but not normal stormtroopers it makes no sense
I recommend read the inferno squadron book on more insight to the choices made to leave the empire. Its pretty good for new cannon
Here is some stormtrooper lore summed up in a few minutes. Definitely some more to explore, but this seems to backup at least some of the propagandist paths that the Empire went with.

Don’t even try to contemplate Disney’s atrocities to the series man, trying to rationalize nonsense long enough will have you standing on a tall ledge

Would it be better if Iden was a normal Stormtrooper and actually showed emotion (plus a buildup to the cringey love story)?
Wouldnt it be compelling if we've gotten a coming of age story? To see how the conflict of the empire came to be, and how she feels about her crew? And to see the chemistry of the characters?
Look to ahsoka, that is how to make a strong female protagonist and a compelling arc, not Iden or even Rey.
It's because dudes wrote the character. I'm pretty sure almost all the writers for Battlefront 2 were men (just like the new movie trilogy), and this is the safest way to write a female character.

Jeff Solis The music is literally taken from the movies and other games so if you watch any Star Wars movies, you’ll be able to remember it.
I'm 99% sure that all the music in Republic Commando is original.
Jeff Solis How can you forget the graphics and the micro transactions? This may not be the best star wars game but it for damn sure is the best looking star wars game ever made.
The KOTOR music is something I remember. Sometimes they do an amazing job with the music.
"Jeff Solis The music is literally taken from the movies and other games so if you watch any Star Wars movies, you’ll be able to remember it."
Half true.

I don’t understand. Why don’t AAA studios hire decent writers anymore?
Allan Sh Because they can hire shitty writers and people will still buy it.
Shitty writers don't need to be paid as much
Zoltan Z its not true.
Because they can just hire a woman and it instantly becomes good.

That moment when you realize that the only multiplayer shooter that doesn't have micro-transactions/loot boxes made last year is Splatoon 2. That's sad.
They have amiibos though, which is pretty much overpriced, physical on-disc DLC
Here I come, rougher than the rest of them! Ok, fair enough. I just forgot to acknowledge amiibos as DLC. However, one thing that amiibo have over other forms of DLC is that they can be used in other games, instead of just one. So, for example, I can use my Splatoon amiibo on MK8 or other games that are compatible with it, while in Battlefront EA 2, those Star Cards will be useless as soon as the next Battlefront game comes out. Also, at least amiibos function as physical, collectable items and (on a side note) don't give you items to win the game. I'm not trying to be a Nintendo fanboy (even though I call myself one sometimes), I'm just trying to explain why I don't think amiibos are as bad as other forms of DLC.
nintendo knows what they are doing when it comes to pleasing the consumer. Most of the time.

Wyatt Barone Luckily they paid for it. Battlefront 2 luckily is a game that can only get better
Understand your comment, I cannot. (Yoda)
