Dominar is more versatile, has way more power, more features, more advanced techs in it etc. Himalayan might ride a tad better in off-roads but Bajaj never marketed Dominar as an offroader. It's a tourer and it does exactly what it's supposed to do brilliantly.

I own a black domi and i am really satisfied with this beast. Initially this bike will feel a bit different to ride due its weight and riding dynamics. But eventually once you get used to riding it regularly, you would absolutely love the bike.

I’m using this bike for quite a time now. I bought this in Sep 2021, almost 5000kms done. I’d like to share few things if you’re considering to buy one Pros 1. High speed stability ( you can cruise at 120 at ease) 2. Sitting position ( I’m very new to long touring, yet I covered 300 in 6 hrs with ease , non stop) 3. Mileage ( Yessss!! You can expect 32-34 in highways and 28-30 in city) Cons 1. Poor rear brake ( it’s good but not great) 2. Slight vibrations in foot peg and handlebar ( not much of a issue if you are used to single cylinder) 3. Weight ( well it’s a boon as well as curse) 4. Tank size ( it’s 12.5 or 12. It would be better if it was 15 or 18) Rest of the things you know well. Service quality was okay-ish. Overall if you want a bike for highways this is the pick for you

this is guy is an absolute fraud. look at the speedometer. it's disconnected. the same is the case with all his bike reviews. because of this, the showroom will sell this bike to a customer, who will be expecting a brand new motorcycle, while this guy is just riding it as he wishes. because of the disengaged speedometer, the ABS will not work too, and so his reviews about the brakes and it's stopping power is not reliable and trustable at all. he clearly knows that the showroom will sell this to a customer telling that it's a new one, and he's just playing along with them and fooling the customers, and guys like you are praising him like he's an honest man. he's just an unethical person and he should be answerable for his actions.

I've commented on other videos too, but they were not in this much detail. trust me, i got this bike just over a month back. upon researching, i came to know how the showroom people will do this tricks. in this world, just checking the speedometer when getting the delivery is not going to be enough. absolutely no offence to you, my brother. we're on the same side. but I'm just not able to tolerate such unethical activity in motorcycle industry and business. and as i mentioned earlier, in this bike, the abs will be activated only after crossing 5 kmph. it's given in manual book also. so the one which has reviewing doesn't have it's rear abs engaged.
It's a very nice bike! Power is superior enough for our Indian roads and highways. Even in today's times, we can't expect a bike to cruise at 150-170 km/hr non stop for hours at end.(Let's be realistic) Dominar has got a strong body, nice ergonomics, and yes it's definitely attractive! In short it has got all the things that an ideal cruiser must have.

I think ABS is cut off when the speedo is disconnected.. You can see the ABS light being light up.. Also the rear wheel locked when he tested it.. So those doing top speed runs with the speedo disconnected are at a high risk!

I totally agree with you your last point about royal enfield and bajaj..... but there is a very big flaw that (other than vibrations) i felt after riding the dominar, it has a very front heavy feel which makes it very difficult to maneuver.
Bhai absolutely. Domi lekar office jana nhi chahiye, it would be a pain in the ass. Ise highways pe le jao aur mast bhagao, aur ye touring ke waqt hi hoti hai.
The sump guard is missing and the engine guard is also wrong. Touring kit comes with a different engine guard which also has radiator protectors. Dominar 400 is a nice bike but after riding REs and this I noticed this somehow feels heavier, but on paper is lighter. That is because the weight on this bike is higher up and more forward which is felt while cornering and on the handlebars. Riding dominar on corners is tiring. It makes more sense on open straight highways. It's not that problematic it's definitely what most people can live with. And lastly I noticed speedometers and by extension odometers in your bike reviews are disconnected. It's dishonesty because the bikes belong to the showroom and have not been sold so new owner won't know that these bikes have been ridden some significant distance before purchase.
