Vertical Horizon - Everything You Want WWF - The Wrestling Album Duran Duran - Greatest Van Halen - For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge (not part of a boxed set) Gin Blossoms - New Miserable Experience
Really hoping for Jimmy Page & Robert Plant - No Quarter (Unledded) & Walking Into Clarksdale vinyl reissues finally, also Neil Young - Mirrorball with the next official releases... Also Danzig - First 4 albums.
Jethro Tull is my favorite band and Alice is in my top 10 so why wouldnt i bring them up. Believe me everytime i do bring them up i think "is this too much?" but at the end of the day they are my favorite and in the context of this episode in particular there are reissues from them im hoping get released.
Hi. My name is Eliot Wien from NYC. The albums I'd like to see Reissued are all Beatle Related. I would like to see Expanded Box sets on Paul McCartney & Wings London Town, and Back To The Egg. I would also like to see the Denny Laine "Holly Days" album. This was an album that Denny, Paul and Linda recorded that were all Buddy Holly Covers. It was originall released on Paul's MPL/Capitol Records. Would also like to see a Beatles Rubber Soul Bos set for 2025. Would also like to see a 50th Anniversary Box set of Ringo Starr's RINGO album produced by the late Richard Perry.
Yeah, that’s one I’ve had on my list for a few years. After finally reissuing Rearviewmirror a few years ago I thought Lost Dogs wouldn’t be too far behind it, but we are still waiting.
Green Day - 1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours Sugar Ray - 14:59 Smash Mouth - Astro Lounge Veruca Salt - Eight Arms To Hold You Goldfinger - S/T Eve 6 - S/T Semisonic - Feeling Strangely Fine Ugly Kid Joe - Menace To Sobriety Silverchair - Young Modern This is my running wishlist
I had my hopes high with Fush Yu Mang getting a reissue and Steve Harwells death that it would get one. It has to happen in 2025. Most of this stuff on my list would make excellent RSD releases…. But Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo are bigger money makers 🙄
That live Pink Floyd the Wall is now available on iTunes for $16.99 which gives me hope that we will see a physical release this year fingers crossed 🤞
Long overdue! I heard an interview with someone on the team that designed the packaging for Fear Inoculum and she said the design was all done for the Aenima reissue and it was awaiting final approval from Maynard. That was in 2018!
Aenema was released in Sep. 1996, so probably over a year left for a possible anniversary reissue. But we’re talking about Tool here, so probably no reissue at all 😂
I just received the 40th anniversary Tull Minstrel in the Gallery LP over the holidays. Steve Wilson did a phenomenal job on this release compared to the many other variants, including original pressings I have. My wife’s jaw dropped when she heard it although she’s nowhere near as fanatical over that album. I play it so often that even casually listening my wife said it sounded much better than my other copies.
“Is There Anybody Out There?” just went to official streaming this week! Hoping for an official vinyl release! And, yes! Hoping for a nice re-release of WYWH 🤞 Also still have my official 2005 release of that Greenday release!
Here’s my list for albums that have never had a vinyl release but should: Natalie Merchant - Ophelia Blur - Live at the Budokan Suzanne Vega - Nine Objects of Desire Toad the Wet Sprocket - In Light Syrup Toad the Wet Sprocket - PS (A Toad Retrospective)
There was an Italian coldwave band called Der Blaue Reiter existing only in 1981, and all I'd like to see is the release of their only album, Epitaph, both on vinyl and CD. It is a sheer masterpiece that easily beats most of the commercial horseshit out there. That's my 'flagship wish' for 2025.
Why have they had such a hard time producing a decent quality pressing of it? I know the last several have been sh*t. The last really good sounding pressing of it was the 2014 UK release (which can still be picked up for around $30).
I hope eventually they will re release Butthole Surfers Independent Worm Saloon and Ween’s Pure Guava. And hopefully they will be quality pressings which is utmost important these days. And I’m with you on the AIC Tripod…
I’m not that worried for Tull’s “Roots to Branches” on vinyl, but I’d REALLY like it as one of the deluxe book/cd sets with a new Surround Sound mix on Blu-Ray
From what I’ve heard the Danzig and Samhain albums haven’t been reissued because they haven’t been able to come to an agreement over licensing. Hopefully they will because I’d love to replace my unofficial pressings.
AP did a pressing of Stand Up a couple years ago and it’s easily one of the best sounding records in my collection. It’s really hard to beat an AP release.
@@TheVinylDen For sure. I know you were looking for a deluxe edition of Welcome to My Nightmare in the video but the AP Atlantic 75 sounds amazing. Not even a fan but listened to a friend's copy and was very impressed.
In addition to a vinyl repress and a box set of Roots to Branches I'd like to see Anderson do the same for Crest of a Knave. Two great albums deserving of the treatment.
Totally agree. I want to see all the Tull records get the book set/vinyl repress treatment. Crest Of A Knave may not be in the cards though until 2027 for its 40th but im definitly ready for it.
@@iantrumbo6152 I'd like to see them all get the same treatment as well, but I'd have a hard time shelling out for Rock Island. Tull's low ebb. The Bursting Out and Jethro Tull Christmas Album additions to the series were quite a nice surprise. I can't remember, did you guys bring up The Beatles Let It Be Naked? Apple not repressing that is a real burr under my saddle. That one SHOULD have been part of The Beatles vinyl box set from a few years ago. Apple is really hard to figure out.
@@iantrumbo6152 You brought up needing a repress of the 40th Anniversary Ed. of Minstrel in the Gallery. Two times now I've found that used in NM condition for $30 locally. It pays off to do the rounds at the local shops on a regular basis.
@@michaellord9745 We did, but I cut it because it made the video too long. I spent about 5 minutes rambling on about all the great Beatles releases that needed to be repressed before they did the '64 albums. Let it Be Naked, the Anthology albums, and Hey Jude (among others) are all way overdue for a repress.
I’d love to see Smells Like Children get an official reissue. I have a bootleg, and while it sounds good I know an official release would sound a lot better.
Hoping KISS will do a 50th anniversary of Dressed To Kill or Alive in 2025. Dire Straits Brothers In Arms 40th anniversary Hopefully a super deluxe. Great pics guys. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU LADS...
@ Hey thanks for the reply. I had no idea that start your ear off right would have any rush albums at all! This is so exciting! I have a couple I would love to see moving pictures and rush 2112.
The Abbey Road remaster of 2112 was still available on Amazon the last time I looked (for about $30) and Walmart still has the 40th anniversary of Moving Pictures on their website for about the same price.
Now that you mention it, his stuff is very hard to find on vinyl. I’m surprised that his albums haven’t been reissued recently. I wonder if it’s a licensing issue.
Of course i have it. Im not much for holiday themed music but the Tull Chrismas album is enjoyable for once a year listening though im not loving the new mix. Im glad i have it as I am a completist.

Vertical Horizon - Everything You Want
WWF - The Wrestling Album
Duran Duran - Greatest
Van Halen - For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge (not part of a boxed set)
Gin Blossoms - New Miserable Experience
AIC is essential and would give me hope for unplugged in 2026. 🤞
In total agreement
I think those are both locks to get reissued over the next two years.
There is the Alice Cooper that cane out as an Atlantic 75 this year. Supposedly sounds incredible….
Really hoping for Jimmy Page & Robert Plant - No Quarter (Unledded) & Walking Into Clarksdale vinyl reissues finally, also Neil Young - Mirrorball with the next official releases... Also Danzig - First 4 albums.
No Quarter is a great pick (and album). I found a copy at one of my local record stores earlier this year, but it was way too expensive for me.
Are you two contractually obligated to discuss Jethro Tull at some point in your videos? 😂
Alice Cooper too... LOL

Jagged little pil acoustic is out on vinyl (music on vinyl)
Pearl Jam - Lost Dogs
Yeah, that’s one I’ve had on my list for a few years. After finally reissuing Rearviewmirror a few years ago I thought Lost Dogs wouldn’t be too far behind it, but we are still waiting.
I'd love it. I have almost all their vinyl but only Vitalogy as an OG (and Dark Matter)
Green Day - 1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours
Sugar Ray - 14:59
Smash Mouth - Astro Lounge
Veruca Salt - Eight Arms To Hold You
Goldfinger - S/T
Eve 6 - S/T
Semisonic - Feeling Strangely Fine
Ugly Kid Joe - Menace To Sobriety
Silverchair - Young Modern

I was hoping Interscope Vinyl Collective would re-issue smash mouth last year. That was the second cd I ever bought.

Eve 6 and Sugar Ray…hell.yes.
Goldfinger hang-ups please
Oh, and Dave Matthews Band - Busted Stuff
What we don't need but will get a few times is Fleetwood Mac's "Rumors".
Ain’t that the damn truth! 😂
First 3 Albums of Marilyn Manson! that's what we want.... !
I'd love "Lest We Forget" to come back around!!!
Counting Crows - Recovering the Satellites
I didn’t know it was so hard to find and selling for as much as it is until just recently. It’s definitely due a reissue!
Ya the masters are gone so that is not happening. I have an og copy I got for $170 a few years back.
I would love to see Flobots - Fight with Tools & Rise Against - The Sufferer & the Witness reissued.
Soundgarden SUPERUNKNOWN- 30th anniversary deluxe reissue hopefully released in 2025! (We’ll just call it a bit late) 🤞🏻🤘
I’m really surprised that they didn’t do something for the 30th this year.

I'd love a 4k bluray of the wall movie.

Numbers by Cat Stevens was just reissued on Dark Horse Records with a Lenticular cover. Izitso was also released the same way.
Roxy Music’s ‘Avalon’ is overdue for lux remastering and reissue.
I want a "Pump Up The Volume" sound track as well as "MTV's 120 Minute" Comp and most of all Duran Duran's "Wedding Album".
A 120 Minutes comp would be incredible! I discovered so many great bands because of that show.
