Ground Branch has the best control mechanics in any fps shooter in my opinion. It feels so smooth. The devs did a great job for the small team they have. But when when the game opens fully to the community for modding, that's when it will shine.
The way the game controls/gunplay is probably the best in the genre. The majority of other titles seem to have that Arma 2/3 input lag (whether by design or crappy engine) and I never feel properly in control of my weapon. Reminds me of older games like Quake and UT where it was 1:1 input, none of this simulated crap. GBs free look mechanic needs to be standard in FPS game. Being able to turn your head, then release freelook and have your gun snap in the direction youre facing is such great idea and really brings GBs cqb gameplay above the competitions. but man...that ai. Its frustrating that the devs give you all these variables to customize the ai yet dont even provide a few different sets of examples to try.
Yes the ai is the weakest point of this game everything else is so well done, really hoping for some updates , loce love love the gunplay def feels very very polished
The next update (that is supposedly release this year) will have AI improvements, prone and other features. We'll see how that goes. But they have improved AI already from the last patch they have made.

Love this game I been playing this since it first came out. You should check out Zero Hour, the Ai is a little better, and the gunplay is a tad bit smoother, but the maps are significantly smaller
I've waited pateintly for other games like Ready or Not and Zero Hour to develop. Ground Branch has by far the most potential in terms of a military shooter. I don't like COD. I need Ground Branch to be a MilSim COD Killer. I will wait and support however it takes.
Ready or not is looking into it and six days in Fallujah will be coming to XSX and PS5. I play these on a steam deck and while it’s playable the increased fidelity and FPS will definitely be welcomed and I’ll buy both day one even though I already own them on steam. I haven’t heard anything about ground branch unfortunately
The AI is the only reason why i don´t play this game. Getting aimbotted by full auto sprinting morons is annoying. I hope the next update will fix this nonsense.
I got this game for sale and i love it, but after an hour of playing the game. I got bored and uninstalled due from the ai's natural instinct so called "Retarded"

They really did i LOVE the way the weapons feel on GB
