This was one for the books. That intro was bone chilling. Then to follow it with that exchange about how the parking space was taken was just too much! Also Venom is a cheeky bastard. Good op,that's how it's done boys!
Tips for surviving in a shooting:
1. Don't cry or scream that will just lead them to you.
2. When calling 911 immediately clearly state that's its a shooting, how many shooters there are, and what school it is.
3. Keep calls as short as possible as noise from there end will also lead the shooter to you.
4. Play dead. (This has surprisingly been shown to work)
5. Pray (but in your head not out loud.)

Really tough stuff. I remember right after parkland my high school got five school shooter threats within the rest of the year. Four were false but one was prevented. A boy I sat near every day was arrested before he even set foot on campus. This stuff was my living fear, was terrified to go to school, only glad I graduated because I got out. Sixth grade was ages ago but I still remember recieving the information that an armed man hopped the fence to my elementary school. I had a substitute that day, and she did everything to keep me calm as we and three others hid behind a large table. We sat in the dark for an hour and I remember hearing the police stack right in front of our door shouting at the dude to get the fuck down, I was so relieved. A kid, relieved she wouldnt die in school that day. Fucked. No one was hurt because miraculously everyone was present within their classroom all at the exact same time, no bathroom breaks or errands ran at that moment, so the school bunkered down the moment the intruder was spotted, and the police tackled that loser 5 to 1.
Every day I'm thankful for the men and women who put their lives on the line to help protect the innocent from threats like this. Its important to talk about, language is important. I've suffered with the fear but I choose the relief of knowing I can trust that theres brave folks who have our backs. Glad you put this one out G, its crucial, super interesting seeing the tactics involved and the efficiency taken. Love the content GLID, have a great week everyone! 🫶

I just realized a library would be a great place to hide. Bullets go through drywall fairly easy, but you'd be surprised how a few books can stop rounds. Especially pistol rounds.
But if they go through all the aisles and pick you off, that's a whole different story...

This really reminds me of the Columbine case. The 911 call is very chilling and the girl on the phone at the end of the intro where she sadly got killed reminds me of one of the victims irl at Columbine, she was also hiding under the desk but sadly she got found out, shot and killed by the shooter while saying "peekaboo!" Really really sickening and traumatic... I'm so sorry I don't mean any disrespect.
Wish all the law enforcements the very best of luck to protect innocent people from any sickening, evil, and just plain random weirdness our dark world could produce.

There was a film bassed on the shooting called "Elephant" the same name as the mission and in that film the school was called Watt High School, The college here is called Watt Community College, Also there where bombs found on the site of the Columbine Case. Can pretty much say alot of this missions was based on the shooting which makes it even more real.

The 911 operators need just as much love as the first responders, I've seen many stories from them having to listen to some fucked up shit it makes my skin crawl, much respect to the people doing the jobs many don't know what goes on when the cameras off.

Nice map, this is what i was asking of this game, big maps, just a few bad guys, some normal and real situations. Nice that you can now order civilians to go to the exit on their own, a little unreal but cool feature, i mean in a real situation you would guide them outside but not just saying go out, cause they could cross bad guys, you would have a guy leading them outside or point a safe exit route, anyway a cool feature and its nice to see that this game is in CONSTANT expansion. And well, what to say about JTF Vigil, they are the best, very nice op, good tactics, well done.

Another great video and op, Vigil. Every corner pied seemed more stressful in this one, somehow. But there's a low reverse track of the whole stack pushing past the 2nd floor gallery at around 15:01 that is just badass professionalism manifest. Put that in your demo reel - operators and editors. I love that we live in a day to have videogames be so insanely hyper realistic.
But it’s ones like these that are so realistic it makes you sick to your stomach. I’ll never understand people who go after things like schools or hospitals.. that intro gives the situation such tension as well. I remember the old SWAT games, and now it’s been turned up to 11 with Ready or Not.

Having a team like this teach real police and real SWAT how to handle a shooter has no cons and a lot of pros. The Uvalde shooting took many lives. 376 officers were "involved" and they were "scared" of a single teenager, resulting in a mission that didn't even start. When people talk about police reform, this is part of what they mean. Training is literally a matter of life and death.
I wish I had friends to play in such a way. I don't wanna play this game in commander mode 🤮. Need actal players who love this kind of tactical talks, formations and playing in such a way. Will actually buy the game when I get some friends to play with me like you guys. So fun man love it. Thank you!
I really enjoy your content, Glid and all the guys you have with you. One small critique I have of this video is going out of first person for the gunfights; I haven't seen you do that before, and I think it takes the immersiveness down a notch.

@GLIDGaming @ludiretier2617 Sorry I guess I should clarify, I understand those scenes were cinematic edits, but in my opinion the viewer not seeing the gunfight from the first person perspective hurts immersiveness.
It's a personal preference, and if your other viewers like the cinematic angle, do whatever you think is best for your channel, I just found it a negative.

this game is true tactic, but personally prefer the developer should done more on NPC AI, need more intensive fire engaging, 1st and 2nd ambush if necessary, which can utilise this school map way better, lots of conner, toilet, classroom is ideal place, look forward this game in the future by enhancing these feather, GLID as always 100/10 content, no question. keep it up bro!!
