Playing this game with proper comms and tactics is a feeling that not even chewing 5 Gum could replicate. Been doing that recently with some of the boys, gotta be concise, precise, and cohesive. Assigning roles for what everyone's doing, and sticking with them, but willing to switch based on these dynamic situations. Always great to see real vets and law enforcement nail these games with training and experience!

This is the reason why military veterans are especially looked for when it comes to swat. Your guys' synergy with the other actual swat officers was insane.

@@Sethbot-sv1gk We call it battle drill 6 in the Army. Fundamentals of CQB however it runs very deep and can get very difficult when dealing with oddly constructed structures. The seals are very proficient at least when we trained with them, they made it look extremely easy despite the obstacles put in front of them. I will say you’re right, with the only difference being that overseas in a combat zone (at least during 2005-2006) most everyone was a hostile so the second you saw a non friendly it was “on sight” however as a police officer you have to be really mindful of civilians and you cant really shoot on sight unless you see a firearm. Obviously now days the rules of war are more restricted and the boys in today’s service have to really get permission before they can just open up contact but honestly in a “your men or them situation” I think we all know whats going to happen but we don’t need to get into all of that;)
Vets aren't willing to become regular beat cops cus damn near all regular cops are known to be insecure bullies angry about their small peckers. Besides a regular job, they've more than likely never had, being a Merc or becoming an insecure cop trying to gain some type of respect in the wrong ways, swat/qrt/hrt is all they got.

This map is easily the most hectic, unpredictable, and dangerous. Even the team of 5 or 6 irl marines are getting ambushed every 3 steps, low visibility and hundreds of obsticles and nooks and crannies for the badguys to hide
Not to mention the lighting effects in some areas giving the effect of motion on walls
first time playing this game at my friends house this was the first mission i picked, i was crossfaded took a couple hours still didnt get it.
You guys are taking us where horror meets courage. The realism you offer is absolutely terrifying.

@@mercenarygundam1487 US military isn't allowed to operate in US soil unless it's martial law.That said I assume a good amount of Swat unit guys are prior military.Also I know FBI fast team /HRt Guys have been deployed to Afghanistan and fought alongside Green berets

Probably one of the best maps in the game. I remember when I first got to the last stage and heard the phones ringing beneath the heaps of bodies, it sent shivers down my spine.

I'm not a vet but I was apart of the police explorer program and got to experience what it's like to be a part of a swat "raid" it was a very cool experience and i love this game

It’s not written off as an insane religiously motivated massacre, it’s a domestic response and despite being morally abhorrent, a form of political expression in response to the US’ bombing of villages in Northern Yemen.

What i love about this is how it highlights how far most of us are from the real strategy of cqb. Even those of us that played tac shooters for years are too high risk just asking to get killed in reality

Hello Glid, i have a question / suggest: have you ever think about record an Airsoft match between veterans or police/army formers? I think it would be interesting to see how you proceed without the limitations of the video games.

@@actng Well, they don't necessarily have to do it with all the current members, considering they're from different countries. But maybe could get a small sponsor from a camera maker, like Yi or something similar, small, "cheap" 4k cams.
And they're also people accustomed to gear, clothing and cameras too probably.
Perhaps an airsoft field/place would also like some exposure and could feature the match. It wouldn't be as hard as you think. Get maybe 8 cameras, 4 for each side and then mix the edit with some storytelling voiceover in case the audio isn't amazing and that's it. Someone with a simple 1080p DSLR on a tripod could get on different spots if possible on higher ground (or use a drone) for some bird's eye view shots.
Understandable if they can't do it, but it was a good suggestion. Besides, his name is "Dccientificoloco" which means "mad scientist". So you could expect crazy suggestions from him :D
I was wanting to ask the same thing. Airsoft team tactics would be great to watch. I've seen a few already .
This is something that can and is done here and there more small scale at various training facilities and such. Force on Force training with simunition.
That said, I'm always up to see more teams at it.

Whatever this soundtrack is for when you get geared up, zeroing in, warming up to infil, is becoming a personal fave. Really inspires. As for this map, music masks the footsteps and audible you hear a few meters ahead. Always watching far and near. Lima team, top notch.
That was a grim mission and perfectly executet. At one point you instatly downed a suspect with what seemed to be an RPK with drum mag, that could've gone south quickly.
Also, at 14:20 one of the boys forgot to watch their backs and that almost costed 3 operators in a row. GLID couldn't protect them because his vision was blocked by the wall. But that can happen to the best of us, right. Great video!

15:28, the stack stopped in the doorway for the civvy. You can't toss people to the ground in this game, but you can muzzle punch them. Muzzle punch and keep flowing vs standing in the fatal funnel. Last man secures her.
True words Curtis. Yeah we held for a sec in frame due to the civ moving into the FF area then we pulled back as we discussed in the video the trailer will collect as they pass through.. In real life I just rip them out of the way and they go flying towards the real men in stack.

It's fascinating watching these vids as a civvy. You guys are talking so much more than I would expect, but it's all good info, and I'm picking up the jargon as I watch.
It all makes sense now I'm a few vids in, and it's really interesting seeing the differences from what I would do and you guys show us. But it's equally cool when I see your decisions before you vocalise or act on them too, I'm actually learning a lot.
We talk more because it's a game and you zero peripheral vision in a game do you can't see everyone like in real life. Fishing in real life. You touch each other on the shoulder, tap and bump each other we have simulate this through communication in the game.
Love this map. It's super fun. With the low lights makes nods very viable.
