Also, I think it is very helpful for newer artists trying to learn from you to witness the process in its entirety, so they are not confused how you got from one step to the next!

    Amazing video like always! You never fail to impress me ❤ also i have a few questions if you can answer them that would be great but i understand if you can’t first how long does it take for you to make a sketch like from scratch second is it easy to draw eyes and arms and legs and all that for you? And finally sorry again for this being so long do you try to use as less brush strokes as possible? That’s all I just wanted to remind you to take breaks and have a lovely day/evening /night and don’t over work yourself!❤

    • @kurohshiro
      @kurohshiro  8 месяцев назад

      Hey! Thanks for your kind comment :) sketches usually don't take me long at all. Like one day of working and drawing occasionally. But lineart and making the rendering look good takes ages because there I notice so many mistakes. Eyes are hard af to draw. I never get them right tbh. Like they're usually slightly off. Arms and hands and limbs are easier :) the less lines you're using for sketches the better I think but please do what fees comfortable :)

    Another full process video! I see you were using a blue base layer? I assume it’s to give the painting an overall cold feeling, that the blue fades through the base colour to make the colours uniform… I’m not sure ahaha, but it seems pretty lit. I also don’t recall the multiply layer lmfao, but it looks like a nice easier way to draw shadows without worry :D
    I really like the colours you used on her hair and eyes, she looks generally mysterious which really matches her character! The purple on the hair is very eye catching. Yet another kuroshiro masterpiece in the gallery ♪( ´▽`)

      That's such a thoughtful and sweet description and observation of my art. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with me. Actually the blue is just I randomly clicked on the blue area on the colour wheel. This technique would be nice if the colours blend with their background underneath to get the overall blue tint by mixing. But now that I think about it you may be right. In the end the blue shades have their influence on the first rough colour layer ^^

      Hey! Thanks for your feedback. I sometimes wish I could do a voice over because there's so much i want to say so I end up shortening the information and that's why it might be confusing. I am sorry for this and hope to improve that.
      The duplicated layers aren't actually set to multiply. They were the normal base rough colours. I duplicated them to have the same look I had one one layer moved to my separated layers to individually pont and render them. I hope this makes sense 🙇‍♂️

If so, I continued to make the baee layers for each part so that I can work cleaner without worrying colouring across the lineart :) the full brush just automatically dedects the edges of the lineart to make it easier to fill ^^ I could also have used the magic wand tool or the paint bucket but I found this new brush and I quite like it
