Say what you will about the quality of animation and voice acting in the 1980s, but the cartoons went _hard._ And they sure knew how to name their villains; I certainly wouldn't want to mess with a guy called *Saw Boss.*
I don't know how this cartoon slipped past me in the 80's but it did, never saw or heard of it until now, but the intro is one of my favorites ever. This sounds like a real hair band from back in the day, especially around :59 when they go, wheeled waaarioors!
Was replying this series a few years ago on my laptop while accompanying my mom who I was visiting to a vet appointment for her dog. Showed a few episodes to some kids who were with their parents. The kids' reaction to the "old school" cartoon was that they were getting jipped by the modern cartoons that were available to them. The 1980's cartoons hooked another generation!!
My husband introduced me to this opening song, and I told him that this is one seriously catchy tune (had to keep myself from starting to dance) compared to some of shows of the same era. Because I am the oldest, with only one brother (who did not start choosing shows favor until ‘89), I was never aware that this show existed. Shuki Levy obviously knew how to create the most awesome cartoon opening credits themes. I noticed all the other cartoons, that opening themes just as awesome, were also done by the same guy.

Also, um, the MASK theme sounds too familiar to a song from the radio - can't place the name but it used to play all the time back then too. Frankly, I'm not surprised it was more commonly done. (It may have been, because I can stop and recall small snatches which line up with songs from the radio amidst cartoon openings.)
Can't help but love it all the same. Grew up with this kind of stuff, as terrible as it could be at times.
@Matthew Lund Another good one...Saber Rider!!!
Every time I hear this it brings me straight back to my youth…I loved this!
Say what you will about the quality of animation and voice acting in the 1980s, but the cartoons went _hard._ And they sure knew how to name their villains; I certainly wouldn't want to mess with a guy called *Saw Boss.*
Man, I LOVED that tune as a kid. Thanks for posting it!
80s cartoons still stand out always today's can't measure up some are Good but they compare than the 80s forever 💘80s
Came on at 630 am ...only reason I would wake up that early 😂😂
I don't know how this cartoon slipped past me in the 80's but it did, never saw or heard of it until now, but the intro is one of my favorites ever. This sounds like a real hair band from back in the day, especially around :59 when they go, wheeled waaarioors!
cosmicroyal77 It was on the USA network it aired circa '85-'86
Saw Boss was Cell before Cell was Cell.
@@silentthriller sawboss was a boss
OMG, 40 years old & I remember every single verse! Every Saturday morning on tv here in Ireland!
Victory over the changing form of SAW BOSS my favorite character 😂😂😂 man really miss those times❤
I never watched this as a kid. OMG what an amazing theme song!!
One of the best intros I´ve ever heard in my life! Simply marvelous!!!!
one of the most badass intros ever!!!!
35+ years later song still slaps
I Love the 80s it was my time and seeing cartoons like these and hearing the intro music brings back the Good Old days for me..
How to sell toys, without making you look like you’re trying to sell toys.
I was always annoyed that these toys weren't available for purchase.
LEMON FACE alrignt daddy o
@@andresdasilva6291 You mean the characters, or the vehicles? Because I used to own the vehicles - problem was, all of that had no similarities to the cartoon. (But man were they fun to build weird stuff with.)
I don't think the toys made it over here (the UK). I would have loved to have them with my Action Force, Visionaries, Transformers etc.
Battle drums
I swear to God to I heart drum beating in my ear back yeard
Didn't hurt just a good beat
(Now, this is coming from someone who Adores *Thundercats intro* and *Transformers Season 2s intro*, and *Masters of the Universe*, *Ulysses 31*, *Ghostbusters* to name afew,)
*Congratulations Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors Intro*
*YOU WON THE 80s!!!!!!!*
Being *The Greatest* in the *Era of the Greatest cartoon intros of ALL TIME* is *no small feat!* :O :O :O :O
This intro FKING RULES!!!!!!! XD
Over the changing form, of Saw Boooosssss! Gives me goosebumps every time!
yep lol
Such a retro rock synth hi-nrg 80’s intro! Love it
Best cartoon them song ever!
Love this intro. What this show needed was He-man explaining plants are bad post every episode. High-tech high-octance 80-ties masterpiece of a show this was.
The late 80s and early 90s had some truly epic cartoon intro themes. This one sounds so much like a Dokken song. Very akin to Dream Warriors
Love this children's tv show theme tune, got it on my own mobile phone as a ringtone and thundercats (born of the early 80's)
Is it just me, or does "things will turn out right" at 0:42 sound really like Chris Cornell?
When the wizard does the check!🔥🔥🔥
80's cartoons were brilliant!
At 0:58 that's a toned down depiction of what my soul experiences when he hits that "WHEEEELED WAARRRIIIOOOOOORS" 🚀
I always make sure I explode into battle.
If you're not exploding into battle, you're doing something wrong. Also, that comment may be the best thing I've read all day!
Scrap Brain there real evil out there people and angels ate getting attack
Scrap Brain strink back
spear
I usually explode right at the end.
@@zebatov I explode too fast !!!!
Back then they made cartoons... The music, Lyrics, the tune, the ideas.... Best era 80s
@TheTrystar Actually, the words are:
Come take a chance, keep 'em turning, don't stop 'em rolling, the fire is on!
(Wheeled Warriors!)
Battle drums burning, a-wheels moving, Wheeled Warriors!
(Wheeled Warriors!)
Come take a chance, keep 'em turning, don't stop 'em rolling, the fire is on!
(Wheeled Warriors!)
Battle drums burning, a-wheels moving, Wheeled Warriors!
Wheeled Warriors!
I only mention it because this was one of my favorites as a kid. Lol
Do you know the name of the male singer and the female singer for Jayce and the wheeled warriors intro song?
@brianlittrell797 I wish I did. That was such an awesome intro.
@@morphobots I have asked God and my Higher Self to give me the names of the singers from the cartoon intro when I am able to receive the information.
I remember this, I used to have a weekend job and used to watch this with my dad over a early morning cup of tea. Loved it
Long live the 80’s!!!!
Its the year 2023 and this still bangs hard!
Damn, I remember this show.
I wish there was a full version of this available. This song rocks!
Best intro song for a cartoon ever!
