I remember much more having heard to the french opening rather than the english one, and I am spanish. I did enjoy listening to this. Thanks a lot!

      @EGANIM 2 года назад

I love both the English and French versions. The English version is more upbeat, while the French is more serious.

+Sven-Marcus Björklund Haha you're so right! I love both, too. French version is like "SAVE THE UNIVERSE. RETURN TO HAPPINESS" and like. The English Version is all like "YEAH MAN NO PROB, UR WHEELS'LL GET'CHA THERE. RADICAL" :D

good, in the french version, the sound of bells give something dangerous/serious.
but in the two versions, i like the voice of the singers.

I have to agree with this. By this point, DiC was an all-American production house, so "Jayce" was almost certainly produced in English language first, then dubbed to French. But both the French title and the French intro sequence feel so much more epic.
It's worth mentioning that the speaking voice in the beginning of the French-language intro is none other than Jean Chalopin himself, the founding father of DiC and the creative leader of all its early series.

Mesterius1 : "DiC was an all-American production house"
DIC was french at this time.

@@sanapadsense1999 No, DiC was all-American in terms of production by 1985. They were still partly owned by French investors, but the actual production of their shows took place in their studio in Los Angeles, California.

I'm from Mexico, and this show formed part of my childhood.
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors began broadcast across Latin America in 1987.
What I want to know is if many of the clips shown in the video are from the TV series or come from the movie that never materialized?
From what I research the film would have delivered a definitive conclusion to the plot of the TV show.

Like the French version although i wonder if someone make a singable English translation of that version.
Anyway that version made it full and complete than the English one that happened to be a jingle.

    • @mooncorp212

      Not sure :
      - this is a french + canadian show
      - drawn in Japan
      - created to support US toys (Mattel).
Since this is not a 100% japan production, it must not have been shown in Japan.

    • @burnu1

Imagine the English vocals singing the serious, direct, excellent French lyrics. That would be powerful. Sorry, but at times the effort in the French version sounded inconsistent, strong at times and at other times it was like they were just adding a bit of vocals and not actually singing, unlike the English version which sounds like a real concerted effort and performance all the way through. Not an opinion, but an observation, I don't mean to offend.
