I am an ex Mazda owner with a 6. Absolutely loved the car and the only complain is the lag of power. Eventually switched away to a harrier turbo. I am still waiting for them to bring in a 2.5l turbo charged engine. That will absolutely kill off all competition. Nice look, nice cabin, nice power.
They did not bring in the hybrid petrol version . Plus Julian the space you showed when you were in the backseat was not accurate. The driver's seat was adjusted to your position hence more legroom in the rear. I went to see it in the showroom and legroom wasn't that much as you said.
Be conscious Julian that you are shorter than average so you need to give more buffer 😅😅😅.. pretty disappointing to viewers if you are saying most of us are like you 😅😅
hi, you can find the specific trim and specs of this car for Singapore here: www.sgcarmart.com/new_cars/newcars_specs.php?CarCode=21735&Subcode=9251 - Jay
Unfortunate it's only the 2.5L no-turbo, non-PHEV version. Since it's already CAT B, might as well Eurokars should bring in the highest trim/power option better compete with other brands that has turbocharged engines. And then when it comes to output, Mazda always seems to derate their engine's output to produce less BHP than what it is capable of. Yes, understandable that while they do so for better longevity, but then there is no more fun with less power, and it loses out to competitors as well.
Just checked sgcarmart. This is north of 300k. For a five seater I would take a harrier hybrid. 2.5l hybrid that goes faster and more efficient and cheaper. Plus you get the nice things of hybrid, you can run ac on the batteries for 10-15min before engine kicks in for a minute before going back to batteries. Nice ev smoothness around the carpark. And the screen is bigger.
How can this be a go buy at that price ? At 290k , you can get a q5/x3 easily (yes even comparing at the time the review was done) and in badge conscious singapore - no guesses what people will choose.
This non-turbo 2.5 is best Trim!!! Cause of that-RELABILITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Less headache! LOOOnger time of usage People don,t understand it, untill face a problems l.... which comming later with higher milage.
Thanks to the ridiculous COE prices now. Even a Mazda 3 is at about 170k. I've been trying out the new Mazdas in Australia, gotta say they're as comfortable as my family's BMW 535i and X3 at a much affordable price.
it is a pity Eurokars is only bringing in the lowest spec SUVs into SG. the PHEV is miles better than this outdated engine. and they're not brining in the CX90. when the even heavier CX80 comes when it eventually does, the engine will be even more underpowered comapred to the car.
In my country there's 2 engines available petrol and diesel both mild hybrid, unfortunately the tuning of the suspension in our local market can be a bit jarring.
No choice, at 290k if higher trim level does come it’s going to break the $300k level which may turn off a lot of potential buyers. And even if they are willing to pay 300k for the higher trim, it may open up other options for them from other brands which could be what Eurokars is trying to avoid
Double wishbone because more comfortable than McPherson strut? We don’t expect an LJK Setright level of review on youtube but please don’t bluff until like dat.

Future reviews should rate against should you buy this car or a 3 room HDB

S$291K for a Mazda? Do you think it is worth it?

@@Zosterias still can accept if cx5 priced below 250k
Now retail asking 305k
Basic cost $224k

relax, malaysia has not entered yet and you should be thankful that you entered cx60
The Toyota Harrier is a better buy… why was that not mentioned?
PH and ID got both the 3.3 i6 and 2.5 phev. Just an old 2.5 on cx5. Bad engine choice.

Why does a 2.5L engine only produce 189bhp? Find mazda cars always severely underpowered with respect to engine capacity
Don't need a turbo in Singapore too risky😅
Pls forgive my lang... Nb, cx60 need 300k.. I cannot buy a better car with that money?
