    NFC?? Heard that in a lot of reviews. But I'm pretty sure it hasn't. Or are there different versions of the D5500?

      +Alex Krizski We actually checked again - you are correct. Here is a table of Nikon cameras and connectivity:

    Hello can you make a videw review and test of the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 16-80mm f/2.8-4E ED VR Lens with the Nikon D7200 please?, thank you!

      +SABBADIUS Electronics Hi, We already asked the local importer who was not really keen on that for some reason (the lens didn't get very good grades to be honest from what I have seen and it is way over-priced for what it is...), but we shall check again (our next Nikon lens will probably be the 200-500mm).

      +Lensvid Hello guys, thank you very much for the fast reply, Ok I understand, how a Tamron 24-70mm lens can work on a Nikon D7200?

    • @LensVid
      @LensVid  9 лет назад +1

      +SABBADIUS Electronics Are you asking if it WILL work or how good will it work?
      Generally it will work fine but remember that it is a FF lens and using it means that you don't get the wide angle that it was designed to provide a Full Frame camera (it functions like a 35mm lens on a FF). If you are asking how good it will work - we didn't try this combo so I can't really tell you but it is a good lens a usually a very good value for money - especially on FF of course.

      +Lensvid Yes Im asking if the quality of the Tamron 24-70mm can do the same work of image quality for the DX as the FX, I know the size of the image will change, but the image quality it`s good too? Thank you.

      +SABBADIUS Electronics Should be O.K. but FX is FX - it will give you better IQ regardless. There are comparable lenses that are designed for DX like the Tamron/Sigma and NIkon 17-50 and 17-55mm f/1.8 lenses (are they better on the D7200 than the Tamron 24-70 - I don't know, but the focal length is more suited for DX).

    I've been a Nikon user my whole life. Yes, I have owned some other brands, but 99% of them have been Nikons.
    I saw this camera for the first time online at the Nikon site and purchased it.
    When I got it, I was surprised how small it was compared to my other Nikons.
    It is a tiny little thing, but a monster as far as capabilities.
    It is tough, a very capable low light sensor and I was pleasantly surprised with its video capabilities.
    For a lot of you, this small beginner's camera may be all you need. I highly recomend it.

    Is live view limited to 1/30 of a second like previous nikons, or can it be used to preview long exposures

    • @LensVid
      @LensVid  8 лет назад

      I don't have the camera anymore so I can't check but I think that yes and I'll tell you why. On my D7100 there are two live-view modes (this is true for all Nikon higher models as well) Live view stills and live view video - the stills mode is not limited the video mode is. On the D5XXX and D3XXX series cameras you only have one mode sadly which is basically a live view video mode (maybe Nikon will call it combined mode). In my view this is generally very limiting not just for that - but this is another story.

    Im about to buy my nikon d5500 do you know any lenses which have good autofocus for this camera?

    • @LensVid
      @LensVid  8 лет назад

      You need to give more info to actually answer this - what focal length are you interested in, what apertures, what uses - stills/video how much are you looking to spend?

    • @kane2703
      @kane2703 8 лет назад

      Well I dont know too much about cameras, its my first DSLR and I've heard that the AF is terrible so im looking for a decent AF lens which is good for video, my budget is up to £150.

      I've also been recommended to the Canon T5I, would that be a better purchase considering im mainly using my camera for video recording?

    I have bought Nikon D5500, which lenses should I buy for it ??

    • @LensVid
      @LensVid  8 лет назад +1

      For beginners we recommend the Nikon 18-140mm as a start - it has a good range and is optically pretty good. After you use it for some time and you want more - you will know a little bit better what range you use the most and we can recommend other lenses as well.

    I bought this camera for a friend as a present because he was a little daunted by my D7200 this is a nice camera but it does have a little bit of a learning curve that might be a little off-putting to a casual user. Honestly if you want the best crop sensor Nikon pony up a few more bucks and get the D7200

    These reviews make me laugh. No matter what review you watch the reviewer always asks why it has certain features or it would be better with that and don't understand why it is missing features other cameras have. It is a budget camera aimed at newcomers to the hobby or users with a little experience. Most people I have spoken to who own one are usually picking a DSLR up for the first time without spending a fortune with a view of not finding the camera to daunting. So why do the reviews all point towards the assumption the viewer is a Pro and is totally OK inside out with all things DSLR.

    Next time use a damn mic to add more volume or just use sign language instead

    • @LensVid
      @LensVid  8 лет назад +3

      We are sorry you are having a problem with the sound - we are using a mic which you can see in the video. We can hear the volume on this video perfectly fine and from the comments below most people don't seem tro have a problem either - maybe try viewing this from a different machine...

    • @samma25
      @samma25 8 лет назад +1

      it is little bit lower than most other youtube videos, so people have to change their volume setting in order to hear yours. I have to up mine by 4 levels. Human don't like changes hence the complaint.
