I got a D5500 (new) when it was released (mine is red).
Two years ago, I dumped all my older Nikon F when I went mirror-less, but I kept the D5500. Still shoot it sometimes.

Hello Rodrigo. Great Video. Thanks for the motivation. I watched one of your videos and got the motivation to take out D5500 which was stored somewhere since years. Now I am getting serious for photography and you are one of the reasons for it. I need a sincere suggestion from you. I just have the kit lens that came with the camera (18-55). Now I am looking forward to get 35mm prime lens. Will you suggest me making my kit by getting different lenses for D5500 or since I just have the basic kit and given the camera is really old, should i get a new camera (I love Fuji system) and start building kit slowly for the same? Thank you in advance

I would suggest a used Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX HSM OS, the one with Optical Stabilization and you're good for low light photography. 35mm on APS-C is a bit too narrow.
Also Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 which is sharper than Nikkor wide zoom lenses. As kit Nikkor 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6 is the best to me.

    It is all your fault!
I got rid of all my F cameras and lenses when I went mirror-less.
As you know I kept my (Red) D5500 with a couple of lenses for sentimental reasons.
After watching your videos, I started using the old D5500 again.
Recently I decided to add a D5600 to my collection. I was attracted by its wifi, bluetooth and Snapbridge capabilities.
While shopping I found an attractive offer from Nikon USA.
They offered a refurbished, fully warranted D5600 for $559.95, but if you add the 18-55 lens, it becomes $499.00.
Naturally, I could not pass up the deal.
I know you also use a Z6ii, I just wanted to pass this on to you.
