    Thanks for the clear review and comparison of these two headphones. It helped me a lot. I had a very convincing listening test of the Px8. The music was dancing in my ears, such a joy! Regarding the design and the make of the Bathys in comparison with the Px8, my preference immediately went out to the more understated high quality look of Bowers & Wilkins. The Focal Bathys to me seems to say "Hey, look at me because I am so special!" and honestly I don't like that busy (dust capturing) pattern of circles and the illuminated logo in the middle. It looks like funfair stuff to me. ;-) Anyway, I would not mind listening once (if I would find them at a demo set up), but I am happily enjoying my Px8 as much as I can.

    The PX8 is like a Sony WH that lost some of its noise canceling ability to gain a decent sound improvement whereas the Bathys lost even more of its noise canceling ability but gained a much better and clear sound. It really depends on what you value. Average consumer will enjoy the Sony’s and probably the PX8 for all around specs and awesome ANC and if they want a little bit better sound at a slight ANC loss,but those who truly enjoy music in the clearest way IMO, will choose the Bathys.

    I got Bathys two days back and didn't realize the sound leakage. I was using a B&O H95 before that and Bathys is definitely better when it comes to comfort (I wear glasses) and also the volume and sound staging works best for my use case. The bass of Bathys is at the right level for me.

      Welcome back! A friend of mine wears glasses and he swears by the Bathys, lol. I love how the Bathys can get loud when needed. Some headphones you have to turn up to 90% to get any real volume, but not with the Bathys. I agree with the sound staging and bass comment as well. @robovirtuoso1354 2 месяца назад

    What many other reviews (that don't offer actual test samples, and instead stupid Harman graphs for "audiophiles" that listen to graphs) fail to highlight is the sound leakage. The reason why Bathys sounds "clearer" is because much of its bass LEAKS the hell out due to inferior seal. Tried using it in the library, and immediately returned it because it leaked just like in this video. People who buy closed back most likely don't want sound leakage. PX8 contains the sound, so naturally it has more bass, but if you turn down the bass in the app, it sounds just as clear as the Bathys, but still with punchier sound. I expected the Bathys to be the punchier sound, well it's nowhere near my wired Focals sadly.

You can also use the 5909 without a charge... The Bathys get louder, a bit better to get lost in the music. The Bathys also allows up to 24 bit 192 hi-res audio without a separate DAC/amp setup. I'll have a comparison video up soon with these two. I have not had a chance to get my hands on the H95 as of yet... A lot of people ask about them, I should have them soon for review (I hope, lol).

Of course, there's still a some of that Bluetooth compression and downsides of a closed-back design but honestly, I think many people will be very happy with how it sounds. For an iPhone user, would you recommend these over AirPod Max? Or are you losing out on too much

      Thanks for taking the time to watch! You lose out on spatial audio and the Apple ecosystem connectivity. Apple is rumored to bring the AirPods Max 2 soon. You may want to hold on and see what they provide. I personally don't find myself missing too much and use third party headphones a lot. I still use the AirPods Max and the 2nd Gen AirPods Pro as well, but both (PX8 & Bathys) headphones sound better than the AirPods Max, in my opinion. I personally do not feel you lose much at all, if anything you gain in sound quality. I hope this helps!

    Great video like always. Keep up the great work bro. Love watching your reviews. You have great reviews and your style is great.
    Yes the Bathys are glasses friendly. And i have thick glasses handles and Bathys are the most comfortable ones. Actually the only ones i can use while wearing glasses.
    Not sure if you were aware of this, i saw it on another review and tested it out to see if it was true and it is. The Bathys will change its sound signature depending on how you have them on. If you pull them back it has one sound, pull them forward it has another sound, pull them up it has a different sound, pull them down it has another, and keeping them center (ears not touching the pads anywhere) it has another sound. You should test it out.

    How do the Bathys compare to the 5909?

    • @DelonteM
      @DelonteM  Год назад +1

      My apologies for the late reply. Both are excellent pairs of headphones! The Bathys has a 5-band EQ, but the 5909 can be used without power… I’ll have a video comparing the two soon, but you really can’t go wrong with either. The 5909 also has a lot more in the lows department. I hope this helps!

    The forced enthusiasm is a bit much. Getting around to sound quality after the 13 minute mark is a bit of a red flag, as no one purchasing either of these headphones will prioritize anything else from the feature set. I'll say that it's disappointing to watch a 16 minute video where no winner is declared. Don't be scared. Let us know which one you liked more. I'm not a hater. I'm going to watch some of your other videos now.

    • @DelonteM
      @DelonteM  Год назад +8

      I appreciate you taking the time to watch the video, but a lot of people actually appreciate the fact that I actually review the headphones. To say no one prioritizes the comfort level of headphones, the features, the actual battery life, gym use, ANC, call quality, and etc. is something you personally do not prioritize. I have tailored my reviews based on what people have asked me to include from various videos. Also, I don't say a "winner" because I feel it is not my place to do so. Someone can let me know if they feel otherwise, but I want the viewer to walk away with all of the information and make a decision based on what was presented. If I say a certain pair of headphones are the "winner," I feel that is pushing a viewer in a certain direction instead of letting them decide for themselves. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts!

    To all those who read reviewers' reviews of Bowers & Wikins PX8, please don't believe them at all because I am Singaporean and purchased my Bowers & wikins on 18th September 2023 from Jaben Singapore. Totally disappointing and not cheap at SGD 935.00.
    The sound quality is a complete let down as they claim the sound is ever so good I can honestly tell you it is complete rubbish why the bass frequencies are very boomy and muddy sound instead of clean bass. The mid-range vocals are very suppressed and lack richness and warmth. After adjusting the equalizer settings, the high frequencies are very bright sounding.
    The noise canceling is the worst, when I turn on the active noise canceling I 100% hear the noise of the standing fan wind spinning.
    Overall, everything claimed by those reviewers on RUclips is untrue as they did not purchase the Bowers & wikins PX 8 themselves but loaned it to them for review purposes only. Please note, if not, you will regret it after buying it with your hard-earned money! ! ! ! ! !
