You definitely have to check out Rainbow STARGAZER 🌈
Anything with Dio on vocals is gold
Dude, it's Richie Blackmore a singin there
@@blognathi6586
lol. Ummm no
@@blognathi6586 absolutely not
@@blognathi6586 what are you talkin about🤦🤦
Rainbow in the Dark, Holy Diver, The Last in Line 🤘
Thanks for looking for a better version, Mugs. I've never seen a reactor do that before. YOU ROCK!!
That man singing is none other than Mr. Ronnie James Dio. 5'4" of pure metal lungs. One of the greatest metal singers of all time. RIP
A classic vibe.
Seen him at the Houston summit when he was lead singer for Black Sabbath.
Mystical
Love Rainbow, Dio and Blackmore worked so well together. If you like the aggression from Dio's voice, check out the song "The Shed" from Rainbow. It is a hidden gem...just a mean song with an epic guitar solo intro.
Dio on vocals and Richie Blackmore on Guitar ( Deep Purple) can’t go wrong
Dio lyrics usually don't make sense. But still make you want to sing along. Great voice. Don't care if they don't make sense.
It makes sense when you are on a higher level if you know what I mean Open your mind
Holy diver....example
DIO and BLACKMORE
Silver Mountain means, "upon the crescent moon," as the fairies would say. Cheers.
Ronnie James Dio was in a band called, "Elf." But he was a super human being from what I hear. RIP RJD.
The "bass" you mentioned is a clavinet played by keyboardist Mickey Lee Sole.
That's right, there's some funkiness about it despite the fact that guitarist Ritchie Blackmore has always said he doesn't like funk music, yet even back in his Deep Purple days he was naturally doing funky guitar riffs.... Go figure!
The fact is that the funkiness here comes mainly from the keyboard part played on the clavinet (and there's also some organ).
You should listen to Deep Purple's "You Can't Do It Right (With the One You Love)" from their 1974 album Stormbringer because it's downright funky!😉
Silver in the biblical sense was used by God to purify humanity. Mountains were commonly known as places to find God.
RJD had one of the best musical voices period!
Dio best ever enough said. Peace out. Ronnie R. I. P. Greatest of all time in my opinion
I seen them twice at a small theater, they put on a great show.
Gotta check out “since you’ve been gone!”
Nice save with the second audio !!! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Ronnie James Dio is my favorite vocalist (all-time) 🎤🎤🎤
R.I.P. miss you 🙏🏻
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
🤘😎🤘
Ronnie James Dio!! Anything he sings is top notch
STARGAZER!!!!
I may be wrong, but he could be talking about God and how ppl have lost their way to him. Hence the line ( come and make me holy again). Silver mountain being heaven. Works for me, I been a Rainbow fan since this lp came out. It says 1976 on my vynil lp.
Exactly what I get from this one 😁❤️ RIP Ronnie James Dio 😞
Almost makes me think of Moshe (Moses)
Yes this hook is granite. The lyrics remind me of the Bible, Isaiah Chapter 6. Isaiah has a vision where he is called into heaven. Seeing all the glory and majesty he cries out that he is unworthy. An angel takes a piece of coal from a holy altar and touches Isaiah’s tongue and said tells him that now he is guiltless.
Ironically Ritchie Blackmore left Deep Purple because if the funk elements they added to their sound, but on the Rainbow debut album much of the songs sound pretty funky. This might be the reason, he fired all the members except Dio.
this is top shelf bro from Ronnie James Dio and Ritchie Blackmoore
According to Dio, it is about people's idea of God.
Another song in this vein is Holy Diver, about a Christ- like figure on another planet.
Glad you did this one, enjoyed your reaction.
Dio started out as a choir boy If you look at his name in calligraphy Upside down it spells devil ....God is dios Symbolizing Yin and yang
Anything from Dio on the Black Sabbath album Heaven and Hell will work.
Don’t worry it won’t ruin you 😉
Wore this record out in 1975!Good times! Anything off any Rainbow album where Dio is the vocalist is stellar. Can you tell I'm biased?
Dio is awesome
Think of the "Hermit" tarot card and all that means.
Hang in to your pants!!! Here's Richie Blackmore with Deep Purple. Dio joined Rainbow later m.ruclips.net/video/z-PJm_z0p3k/видео.html
I bleed van halen. But this song hits on all cylinders.
David Lee Roth wishes he had Dio's vocal power. He had an Eflat bellow. Don't get me wrong i love DLR era VH but he couldn't touch Dio
This guy said David lee Roth lmfaoo
Dio>
Question: What does that lyric mean...?
Answer: Dio. Who cares.
This audio sucks on this song. I was just gonna say as I was listening to this just now today it’s terrible. You need to go to the original album. I hate it when they remastered stuff because it takes away from the originality of the song. But thanks for playing this song over.
Another couple of great tracks from Rainbow (iaka R.B., i.e. Ritchie Blackmore, get it?) are their take on Beethoven's Ninth, "Difficult to Cure," or "Can't Happen Here" from the same album.
OR........or, or....something from the Graham Bonnet era of Rainbow. Because everything's better with Graham Bonnet on it.
It’s a guitar buddy , the greatest rock guitarist ever lived Ritchie Blackmore
