An epic masterpiece, simply one of the best songs recorded. Live Rainbow is on another level, check out the 1977 Munich concert, songs "Mistreated", "Catch the Rainbow" and "Man on the Silver Mountain" are fantastic.

Ronny Dio had a band called Dio also. You should check them out. His voice is what every rock singer was trying to imitate.

I love the quote - "there are two types of people in the world. Those that say Stargazer is the greatest rock song ever written and those that are wrong!". An absolute masterpiece that never gets old, R.I.P. Ronnie, Jimmy and Cozy, you'd be classed as legends if this was the only song you ever made, joyous.

Ritchie is one of my heroes and still alive, that's why I didn't mention him. Side Two of Rising is one of the greatest pieces of music ever performed, IMHO, A Light In The Black is wondrous, Ritchie's playing is sublime.
