The first time I fought a golem yesterday might be one of the most enjoyable video game experiences I have ever had - and they continue to be incredibly fun to fight. Recommend against trying to climb them if you get motion sick easily, though - they roll your camera around and it made me want to hurl, and I have pretty seasoned VR legs.
First time fighting him was terrifying and pretty hard, second time was a cake walk although I ended up climbing him and holding on for dear life while he spun around and nearly made me throw up.

I wish I could play crystal hunt right now, but my virtual desktop has been very laggy making it unplayable so I have to save up for a valve index.. I’m very sad
If u have a oculus and a good just use link cable the pc is still required for valve index btw. Cus I just use the quest 2 and link to my pc and it's alright

first time seeing it in person and my jaw hit the floor, genuinely didnt see it until i got close and the head moved
just climbing him was absolutely amazing
it made me scream like a little girl every time it picked up a rock to throw at me or to try and hit me with its hands when i was too close to it
