    thanks. nice video well explain. do i need to adjust anything in the caliper? to activate the internal mechanism? thanks.

      No, you don't need to adjust anything. But you have to bleed the brake system. During brake caliper change, you will loose some brake fluid and air will trap into the braking system. So it is highly recommended to bleed the braking system.

    Thanks ,
    However ;
    Very good ' When you inteded
    to remove the caliper you must
    loose the mounting bolts & hydraulic line
    B-nut and just keep them loose before
    . complete finial removal to ease removal

      @@nando3869 there is nothing to adjust the caliper just remove the bolts and put them back in with the new one. Just be careful not loose much of brake fluid from the brake lines. Put some cap or something to stop the brake fluid running. Try to do some research more if you dont feel confident but it is pretty simple and easy job. And feel free to comment here, i will try my best to help you.

    Do they tend to seize the rear calipers?
    Mine's wearing the pads fast, but could it be simply the pins needing lubrication? Its MOT was 1 year ago, and the left caliper has already been replaced.

      Yes, they tend to seize. There could be two reasons: 1- caliper pin get moisture and get rusty hence seized 2- the hand brake lever behind the caliper get seized due to moisture and rust. So check the lever mechanism behind the caliper and also inspect the caliper pin. You can try to clean pin and lubricate them if it helps. You can also try to clean the lever and lubricate them. But once the lever is seized most likely you would need to replace the whole caliper since lever tend to get seized again after some time.

      Brake. Not break (that's what you do afterwards 😂).
      Generally the dust seal perishes and causes the piston to jam thus wearing one pad very quickly.
      Good video btw.
