Great video as always. Very informative. I am sorta surprised that you didn't use a sledge hammer.
I take plenty pictures of all the projects that I work on, just cause I have a weird memory and I'm unsure of exactly when I'm working on that particular part of the project again

How did you know or figure that all the walls you are removing/condensing aren't load bearing?

First stop was in the basement. the walls in the basement were running perpendicular to the wall that was being removed. The support beam was running in a different spot so that is where the load gets transferred. Also a quick look in the attic could give some idea of where the load bearing wall is. Interesting project, how did you decide that the wall was not a supporting wall? I believe you meant metal cutting blade not a metal blade. Keep up the good work looking forward to the finished project.

You can tell that the wall is not a "supporting" wall by looking in the basement. The span of the joists goes from side to side, so IF it were a load bearing wall then it would be running 90 degrees from the joists. Sometimes it's hard to tell but in this home it was very easy.
