Great idea. Thanks for posting. I would have put red guard behind the tile to waterproof the joints and picked a lighter paint color to make the room look bigger and brighter. A barn door also saves space.
Your work is exact what I want. I leave in Frederick MD 21702 USA and I’m in a process of buying a 3b 1ba house. The master bedroom has two closets close to the main bathroom and I would like to know if you can help in adding another bathroom from one closet in the master bedroom
I don't have much experience so it looks awesome to me. One question though: if you don't put insulation, won't the toot-sound permeability factor be super high?
the HD camerca to film and then a sd camera to take pictures of the finished result? XD. anyway. good work and good video!!! maybe when I'm rich I'll get one.
So tho house was off grade, so plumbing had to be brought to the bathroom. There is no requirement for a permit unless you move a load bearing wall. And or add electrical breakers for additional power. We used the power that was there, and both closets were not load bearing. So no permit was needed.
This is a terrible work. Cutting the hole for the shower drain and sweeping the residue in the hole because "I'm lazy to clean it up" attitude. Laying tiles directly on the wooden floor without a steel mesh will make all the grout crack due to the movement of the wood. Not closing the seams of cement board and zero waterproofing before laying tiles in the shower and on the floor is a bad idea. Too many shortcuts on this small job. Can't imagine what you do on a bigger scale projects.
I thought the same thing about the missing waterproof drywall on the shower. I was like, "What happened to the green or purple drywall or the Redguard/ waterproofing membrane?" Everything else had waterproof drywall...
Men. For all the work they did, they chose a hideous wall color that only made a very small bathroom look even more tiny. And that shelf? Why so high???? What in the heck would be stored there? Why did they not hang it above the toilet?

Did you just use an adhesive for the bottom row instead of mortar?
