Dude - I've been looking at Sportsters and this video popped up in my feed. Thoroughly enjoyed watching your trip and a hell of a ride on a Sportie! Seems like the bike performed pretty damn good aside belt failure and or battery cable - both which can be easily fixed as needed or via maintenance interval checks. Thank you for sharing! EW :)
I've been wanting a Sportster since the 60's when Then Came Bronson came on TV. Before the feds banned it. My teacher didn't like that I liked the idea of the long lonesome highway. So I'm saving for a Sportster now. Want a metallic blue '07 ASAP! Then I wanna grab the wife and tour some.
Loved this video dude. I envy you guys in the states being able to ride away and keep going in one direction for days at a time. if I try that here in the UK I fall into the sea after a couple of hundred miles. Not great for my Sporty😁
If my big ass tried doing a travel trip on my sporty id need the jaws of life to get me off need something a bit more comfy preferably but when i was younger I'd cross country on a razor scooter lol more power to you awesome video
i had a small liter primus bottle but it sat too close to the seat nut and the vibration ended up making a hole and at some point just dribbled out im guessing. furthest i ended up pushing it was like 130ish miles and i was getting nervous
it was the saddlemen step up seat. great if youre trying to do wheelies but otherwise anything over 100 miles on it and youre gonna feel it. and second i dont really recommend the sporty for long trips unless youre gluten for punishment but clearly that didnt stop me but never again lol
Awesome video! Love watching people put down miles on a sporty!
Great video! Looked like an awesome trip.

This is one of my favorite moto-trip viddies. Music is dope. Footage is incredible. LOVE!!!

What seat do you have, would you recommend it for long trips on a sporty?
